i've being to the counter a number of times now and it never fails to disappoint. its one of my favorite places to go for food with the lads.  the  burgers andsweetpotato fries are unreal. having the option to build your own burger is ideal as you get to pick what you want. i would definitely recommend giving it a try.

i like the idea of the counter, especially as someone eating with intolerances and who loves to customise orders to my own liking however i think the reality falls a little flat to expectation. opting for the bunless option taking mixed salad leaves instead, i was disappointed with the portion size delivered. thesweetpotato fries were nice but the burger didn't curb my burger cravings as i wanted.

the counter has always been a favourite of mine, and of many others which you can see at the weekends with the queue spewing out the doors (only complaint is that they don't take bookings). instead of going for the usual burger in the bun i resorted to in a bowl! i certainly wasn't disappointed. although a different experience to grasping the meal and attempting to shove it all in at once, i could almost say i enjoyed the meal more with my quinoa and lettuce haha. i would always recommend the premium topping of fried onions and of course their sought aftersweetpotato fries (my friend rach would agree). all in all a chilled experience as we went on a tuesday afternoon so it was quite quiet! if you need a good feed this is the place to be! 🍔🍟

i have been here a number of months back. i really liked it. this time round i got the 1/2 pounder beef burger on a brioche bun with blue cheese, spinach, korean bbc sauce and some artichoke. it was great and came out quite quickly. i got thesweetpotato fries and because i'm a fat mess i got the upside down pineapple milkshake.... i drank it all before i took a pic. i love this place!

nice burgers, i like the tick the box's menu gimmick. unlimited toppings are a great idea. to my recollection i got: pineapple, grilled red onion, coleslaw, dill pickle, tomato, and lettuce withsweetpotato fried and chipotle mayo. i may be forgetting something. only real down side was the wait time for food. 30 minutes is a bit long even if it was a 1/2 pounder.

the counter in dundrum is a great meeting spot for small groups of friends or for some tasty grub before venturing to the cinema! be warned there will be a que outside the door most evenings! the best thing about this place is the shear variety of toppings.. you can get pretty much anything on your burger. however i have over done this a few times ordering too many toppings that it overpowers the burger, so my advice for counter is less is more! they do different sized beef burgers as well as chicken, fish and vegetarian burgers so there something for everyone. i'm still an old fashioned burger & bun fan however the burger bowls my friends ordered looked equally delish! thesweetpotato fries are super tasty and they have a great selection of dips. to top off a wonderful counter experience they even do cocktails... what's not to like!!

fast and tasty food, for a reasonable price!

the first time i came here, il admit i wasn't convinced! but the boyfriend seems to love it so i decided to give it another shot...very happy that i did!!

i went for the build your own burger. i love how the menu for it works. just tick off what you want and hand it to the waiter - simples! i got the bison burger with cheddar cheese, onion, egg and bbq sauce. oh nelly it was good! for sides i went for somesweetpotato fries which where fabulous! but wait! that's not all!

the icing on the cake was the "adult shake" i got! bourbon vanilla cream milkshake. winning! it was heavenly! ideal for sharing as it's slightly heavy!

great little spot!

its the third time ive been to counter the first 2 times i got burgers and was not disappointed. both the beef and chicken are lovely.
this time given it was after christmas we opted for for bunless burgers, aka burger in a bowl.
i really enjoyed it. the chicken was lovely and i got it with spinach and quinoa along with some toppings.
we always get a side ofsweetpotatoe fries which are not but im not a bigsweetpotatoe person so i get the parmesan fries which are out of this world. they are so generous with the cheese. very filling and hard to finish but you so ummy i give it a good go.
this time i tried a milkshake, coffee flavour, it was really nice. ice-creamy and thick and just the right coffee flavour. it wasn't too heavy on top of all the food.
my nephew cam along this time and the venue was very child friendly. they gave us a table for 4 rather than shoving us on a table for 2. they provided a high chair and offered crayons and colouring.

make that a 4th visit. its now a staple everytime i go home. 4th time was a bunless beef, brie and pesto bowl. yummmmm as always!!

love this place! i was in dundrum one evening with friends and had an hour to kill so we decided to go for something to eat. so we decided on 'the counter'. it's a burger joint and what i love about this place is that you can build your own burger by ticking the various options that are provided on the menu. options include 'choose a burger (beef, chicken etc), choose a bun, choose a sauce, choose a cheese and choose up to 4 toppings'. i thought this was brilliant and different to lots of other burger joints i've been to. also you know what exactly you're getting when you order so that's pretty cool. aside from building your own burger, you can also choose from a selection of signature burgers along with some tasty starters. so..i went for a beef burger with a hamburger bun, irish red cheddar, bacon and topped off with a fried-egg on top. delicious! finished it off with a side ofsweetpotato fries.

it was very busy with customers flowing in & out on a regular basis. they were super friendly and tended to our every need. it's quite relaxed and casual which i liked and perfect for the night we had planned. i'd really recommend this place to anyone who's in the dundrum area. we headed off with our tummies full and ready for the movie ahead!

i had some lunch in the counter in dundrum today, and i must say, it was pretty damn good! they've got a menu consisting mainly of a few sample burgers, and then sides of wings fries, sweetpotato fries, onion strings, etc... but the main draw of this place is the 'build-your-own' burger option. you choose a size of patty (beef or chicken) then a type of cheese, then up to 4 (or more) toppings, a sauce and bun. i went for a burger with jack cheese, jalapenos, roasted red peppers, grilled onions, and red onions with a side ofsweetpotato fries. the wait that ensued seemed endless. once the food arrived, i realised it was definitely worth the wait. this place is awesome, and i'll definitely be back next time i find myself in dundrum looking for some food.
