i've being to thecountera number of times now and it never fails to disappoint. its one of my favorite places to go for food with the lads.  the  burgers and sweet potato fries are unreal. having the option to build your own burger is ideal as you get to pick what you want. i would definitely recommend giving it a try.

being a huge burger fanatic i cannot stress enough how much i love the counter! i think you need to go in with an open mind don't go with anything too plain. do you like eggs? and enjoy a good burger?... go all out get the egg on top! like onions? definitely get the crispy onions on top! at the same time don't over do it because i can assure you once you've been here once you'll be going back in a heart beat. i think thecounteris very underrated for its burger, and don't let me forget the chicken wings 😍😍 get yourself to thecounterat some stage you won't regret it!

thecounterhas always been a favourite of mine, and of many others which you can see at the weekends with the queue spewing out the doors (only complaint is that they don't take bookings). instead of going for the usual burger in the bun i resorted to in a bowl! i certainly wasn't disappointed. although a different experience to grasping the meal and attempting to shove it all in at once, i could almost say i enjoyed the meal more with my quinoa and lettuce haha. i would always recommend the premium topping of fried onions and of course their sought after sweet potato fries (my friend rach would agree). all in all a chilled experience as we went on a tuesday afternoon so it was quite quiet! if you need a good feed this is the place to be! 🍔🍟

i don't think thecountergets enough credit for their burgers. i have always loved it. i think i really perfected my choice though, throughly enjoy the menu experience and the burgers really are gorgeous. their fried onion strings are the best! much prefer the dundrum location though, suffolk st is a poor lay out lacking atmosphere.

i think thecounteris great. i always build a burger. staff are always friendly and food is always good. i hear the wings are amazing but for me i built a burger had veggie pattie, corn salsa and slow roasted peppers. the toppings are overwhelming my poor mum was confused by it all. fries are amazing too. i always get a bowl cause the portions are massive enough as it is! never too expensive either with most meals being around 12 euro!

thecounterin dundrum is a great meeting spot for small groups of friends or for some tasty grub before venturing to the cinema! be warned there will be a que outside the door most evenings! the best thing about this place is the shear variety of toppings.. you can get pretty much anything on your burger. however i have over done this a few times ordering too many toppings that it overpowers the burger, so my advice forcounteris less is more! they do different sized beef burgers as well as chicken, fish and vegetarian burgers so there something for everyone. i'm still an old fashioned burger & bun fan however the burger bowls my friends ordered looked equally delish! the sweet potato fries are super tasty and they have a great selection of dips. to top off a wonderfulcounterexperience they even do cocktails... what's not to like!!

such good food on the menu. got the wings, quite pricey for a bowl of wings (€12) but you do get loads. have a bit of an obsession with chicken wings and these were good in my books. would get them again but sincecounterare famous for their burgers would probably opt for a burger next time!

thecounteris a great place to meet friends. by this i mean, it's a great place to bring people that maybe wouldn't appreciate 'the best steak in dublin' or 'this cool little wine bar'.
you can tailor make your own burger, the novelty is still fun & it solves the problem of where to bring the fussy eater.
it's by no means a contender for the best burger in dublin but that doesn't mean it's not good.
the location is really handy and it's never too packed so you can generally walk in and find a table whenever. service is very good too and i've never had to wait more than 20mins for my meal to be served.
it's the kind of place you'd drop into if you were walking by with people and fancied a bite to eat rather than making a reservation and waiting all week to go.

i'm all about simplicity when it comes to certain foods, made with the best of ingredients and cooked perfectly. but when a friend of mine gave out to me for wanting to come to thecounterbecause they have, "too many topping options" i had to put my foot down. child please! since when have the options of salty bacon, soft and creamy avocado, sharp cheddar cheese, sauerkraut and whatever the hell else i decide to put on my quarter pound of beef been a bad thing? frickin hipsters!

amen to the burger and burger toppings i say. love the counter!

its the third time ive been tocounterthe first 2 times i got burgers and was not disappointed. both the beef and chicken are lovely.
this time given it was after christmas we opted for for bunless burgers, aka burger in a bowl.
i really enjoyed it. the chicken was lovely and i got it with spinach and quinoa along with some toppings.
we always get a side of sweet potatoe fries which are not but im not a big sweet potatoe person so i get the parmesan fries which are out of this world. they are so generous with the cheese. very filling and hard to finish but you so ummy i give it a good go.
this time i tried a milkshake, coffee flavour, it was really nice. ice-creamy and thick and just the right coffee flavour. it wasn't too heavy on top of all the food.
my nephew cam along this time and the venue was very child friendly. they gave us a table for 4 rather than shoving us on a table for 2. they provided a high chair and offered crayons and colouring.

make that a 4th visit. its now a staple everytime i go home. 4th time was a bunless beef, brie and pesto bowl. yummmmm as always!!

i had some lunch in thecounterin dundrum today, and i must say, it was pretty damn good! they've got a menu consisting mainly of a few sample burgers, and then sides of wings fries, sweet potato fries, onion strings, etc... but the main draw of this place is the 'build-your-own' burger option. you choose a size of patty (beef or chicken) then a type of cheese, then up to 4 (or more) toppings, a sauce and bun. i went for a burger with jack cheese, jalapenos, roasted red peppers, grilled onions, and red onions with a side of sweet potato fries. the wait that ensued seemed endless. once the food arrived, i realised it was definitely worth the wait. this place is awesome, and i'll definitely be back next time i find myself in dundrum looking for some food.
