the counter

i've being to the counter a number of times now and it never fails to disappoint. its one of my favorite places to go for food with the lads.  the  burgers and sweet potato fries are unreal. having the option to build your ownburgeris ideal as you get to pick what you want. i would definitely recommend giving it a try.

love the counter. been here 10 + times. always a great service as you get what you ask for - obviously the turkeyburgertakes a little longer. we went here on sunday night and unfortunately did not live up to the usual standard. laura's turkey was over cooked and steven'sburgercame out with no cheese. we did not complain however is normally we absolutely love coming here! we'll be back for 10+ more times! :)

went here last night for a casual meal after work. we got the wings to share to start - huge portion really tasty. then we both opted for theburgerbowls. really nice high quality food. all in all for 1 huge starter 2 mains and 1 beer it was €46 - great value and we both left stuffed! staff are really friendly.
this restaurant gets really busy and even on a tuesday evening people were queuing it get in which is a great sign!

we waited almost 50min for ourburgerand was the most dryburgeri ever ate.
the french fries were soggy, they got some orders wrong.
not a place to come again...

if you want a bigburgerwith loads of toppings this is the place for you. you can have theburgerwhatever way you want so it's great. milkshakes are also awesome!

i like the idea of the counter, especially as someone eating with intolerances and who loves to customise orders to my own liking however i think the reality falls a little flat to expectation. opting for the bunless option taking mixed salad leaves instead, i was disappointed with the portion size delivered. the sweet potato fries were nice but theburgerdidn't curb myburgercravings as i wanted.

being a hugeburgerfanatic i cannot stress enough how much i love the counter! i think you need to go in with an open mind don't go with anything too plain. do you like eggs? and enjoy a good burger?... go all out get the egg on top! like onions? definitely get the crispy onions on top! at the same time don't over do it because i can assure you once you've been here once you'll be going back in a heart beat. i think the counter is very underrated for its burger, and don't let me forget the chicken wings 😍😍 get yourself to the counter at some stage you won't regret it!

the counter has always been a favourite of mine, and of many others which you can see at the weekends with the queue spewing out the doors (only complaint is that they don't take bookings). instead of going for the usualburgerin the bun i resorted to in a bowl! i certainly wasn't disappointed. although a different experience to grasping the meal and attempting to shove it all in at once, i could almost say i enjoyed the meal more with my quinoa and lettuce haha. i would always recommend the premium topping of fried onions and of course their sought after sweet potato fries (my friend rach would agree). all in all a chilled experience as we went on a tuesday afternoon so it was quite quiet! if you need a good feed this is the place to be! 🍔🍟

i have been here a number of months back. i really liked it. this time round i got the 1/2 pounder beefburgeron a brioche bun with blue cheese,spinach, korean bbc sauce and some artichoke. it was great and came out quite quickly. i got the sweet potato fries and because i'm a fat mess i got the upside down pineapple milkshake.... i drank it all before i took a pic. i love this place!

i regularly come here with friends and always choose to build a burger. you basically pick your meat, toppings, sauce, salad bowl/burger bun. be warned that you probably will be waiting for a table, as the queue is out the door any evening i've been.

food was great as per, although the service was mixed. some of the girls ordered cheese and they didn't get it. i asked for peanuts with myburgerbut the waiter never came back with it. we ordered before 6.30 and the food didn't appear until 7.10. to be fair it was very busy, and they have a policy of serving each table when all the food is ready but there was only 4 of us, so we did feel a little put out. we mentioned it to the manager who came over and checked everything with us, and he sorted us with complimentary deserts for the confusion and apologised. he handled it really well, we nearly felt bad for complaining!

we all chose to build burgers and ordered a jug of water between us, we all had happy tummies leaving despite the bit of mix up!!

i think the counter is great. i always build a burger. staff are always friendly and food is always good. i hear the wings are amazing but for me i built aburgerhad veggie pattie, corn salsa and slow roasted peppers. the toppings are overwhelming my poor mum was confused by it all. fries are amazing too. i always get a bowl cause the portions are massive enough as it is! never too expensive either with most meals being around 12 euro!

the counter in dundrum is a great meeting spot for small groups of friends or for some tasty grub before venturing to the cinema! be warned there will be a que outside the door most evenings! the best thing about this place is the shear variety of toppings.. you can get pretty much anything on your burger. however i have over done this a few times ordering too many toppings that it overpowers the burger, so my advice for counter is less is more! they do different sized beef burgers as well as chicken, fish and vegetarian burgers so there something for everyone. i'm still an old fashionedburger& bun fan however theburgerbowls my friends ordered looked equally delish! the sweet potato fries are super tasty and they have a great selection of dips. to top off a wonderful counter experience they even do cocktails... what's not to like!!

nice food! burgers are lovely and you even get to create your own, only downside is im aburgerlover and this wouldn't be my favourite.. doesn't come with sides

possibly my faveburgerplace. i love that you can build your ownburgerand choose all the element from the amount of meat to the bun and sauces! usually have to wait a while for a table but don't mind this as the food is always worth the wait. the staff are usually really friendly even though they're run off their feet and the food usually comes fast. theburgerin a bowl option is the bestburgerin a bowl i've ever had. sometimes when you get aburgerwithout the bun its really sad looking on the plate but from here arrives at the table looking like a full meal and is super filling. all the sauces are delsih! i can never pick which one i want!
