favourite cafe in sydney!. these guys really know what they're doing. they never disappoint with the coffee, and thefoodis just phenomenal! i always enjoy showing this place off to people. one taste of thefoodor sip of the coffee and they're hooked. in fact, they're so good that i felt the need to create an urbanspoon account just to write this review!

the place gets really busy! the staff is extremely friendly. i ordered the french toast. it's a very different style. great if you likefoodadventure

cooper mill is our go to when we're in the area. amazing coffee,foodusually delicious and the service warm and friendly. the only issue we had was that whilst we love the industrial decor, chairs we're not entirely comfy.

we initially found the copper mill to be quite chaotic. lots of people cued up with no separate line or signage for take away and dining in house. we were abruptly told to wait as there was a list of people before us. as it turned out there was no one before us and were then welcomed by two lovely staff members. the menu is small but it was great to see a turmeric latte there. thefoodwas good, portions are a little on the small side but there are lots of nice and fresh flavours. we weren't blown away, but it was nice to try somewhere a little different for breakfast.

the simplicity and freshness of thefoodhere is definitely worth coming back for.  the coffee (long black for me) was a bit of on the acidic side for my liking, but a solid pour nonetheless. the staff were friendly and the interior is workshop vibey, which i liked.

i've been here many times before by myself, with friends and it is always awesome. greatfoodand quick service. the people are hipster and always nice. the lady today was super nice and helpful. it has a rustic feel inside. there were some specials available like soup, salad, baked beans, eggs. however, today i went simply for the chai. i've seen and heard amazing things about the turkish salep middle eastern rose and pistachio chai. i tell you what - it did not disappoint. it was incredible. i would go back in a heartbeat, just for that. it was a rose flavoured chai with rose petals and pistachios on the rim. awesome! you gotta try it peeps.

super cool. i was made to feel welcome the minute i walked in the door, and they has lots of mouthwatering interestingfoodchoices. i went for one of the specials of the day - succotash, a jumble of pancetta, lima beans, lime, tomato, beans, corn and basil, all topped off with a poached egg. i also had that endangered beast, a simple freshly squeezed orange juice which was refreshingly wonderful. my succotash was tasty but felt like it needed something extra to bind the dish together. i got some tabasco sauce which helped, some sort of fruity hot sauce,,or maybe a chill jam, would have been perfect.

good food, better coffee, bad service, greasy smell.

we had our sunday lunch yesterday at cooper mill. we were in the cafe at 1:30pm, thefoodwas served at 2:20 - almost an hour for only 2 burgers. since we walked in, no one served, we had to find a table ourselves as well as the menu....we ordered coffee, a chicken burger and a peruvian pork roll. the coffee was beautiful. but the waiter didn't take ourfoodorder at all. we were sitting, breathing the greasy air and waited for about 25 minutes until we asked one of the waitress and found out. we then waited for another 10 minutes, thefoodstill wasn't ready for us. we asked the waiter who made the initial mistake - instead of explaining or apologise to us, he said : "do you want to stop the order?" throughout the whole incident, this waiter tried to avoid our table and never had the courage to take his responsibilities and come up with any forms of apologies. instead, his colleagues apologised for him and offered us the discount for the long wait. after 45 minutes, we finally had our food. the burgers were good, but we were rushed as we were staving!especially for my wife who is 7 months pregnant. after all, the service, particularly for that young man, was inappropriate and unprofessional.

as there is no separate kitchen area, the whole cafe is full of greasy smell from the grill. we had to carry the smell for the rest of the day. not ideal if you're after a clean fresh day afterwards.

to be fair, i don't mind going back for a quick coffee and brekkie. even though the service was unpleasant. also they should do something about the greasy smell...

it's a really small space but thefoodwas great, in particular to their beef and hash and avo toast!! pretty quirky and rateablefood;) i would recommend this to any brunch hipster

the staff is over friendly lack a little authenticity. thefoodis high average for alexandria/waterloo area with unique plating. the toilet is a scary read for weekday morning...

loads of top knots and hipsters, but thefoodand coffee is excellent. i had the reuben sandwich and can genuinely say i was absolutely blown away with it, will be coming back again!

great coffee, greatfoodand great service! it can get really busy at lunch time on weekends but it's worth the short wait. the peruvian sandwich was to die for!

this is probably our new favourite little place. the staff are super friendly and thefoodis amazing! went here for the first time today and fell in love. it was busy but only had to wait about 5-10 min for a table. so worth the wait! absolutely nothing to fault about the place! big thumbs up! will be back again soon.
