"box burger flavour". went there today, nothing like i expected, tasted like you went to lawblaws, bought a box of burgers and grilled it at home yourself. was not impressed. dont let the menu on there website fool you. they have none of those options there, just basic bacon and cheese burgers. go to the works if you want a good burger.

you cannot get fresher in ottawa. i have tried the 5 guys burger 3 times now and i like the grill frying and the 80 20 fat ratio, gives for good flavor, however, if you want a better blend and charbroiled flavor then veras is still my fav with hintonburger a close second and baja burger shack in the summer for the grilled fried method. forget the fries, 5 guys has fresh ones, try the vera sauce if they are not sold out, it is a garlic mayo , for you truists, mustard and onions ( my favorite are only 2 of the 11 condiments you can order, lunch is busy, off hours you get the best burger, sorry to say, they do not do well when the production ramps up, i go when it is slow and get it cooked the way i want, burgers are made each morning and you can take them home to cook on the deli side

open when?. i really want to try this place. i drove by but it wasn't open. another time i called but nobody answered and there was no voice message with hours, etc. i looked all over their website but no joy. puzzling... i guess i'll have to drive out there and if it's not open i'll see if they put their hours on the door.

i think i had them put everything but the kitchen sink...and ketchup...on mine. it was fabuloussss! the meat was tender and juicy, cooked perfectly all my veggies were crisp and i loved the snap that the banana peppers added to my burger.

very disappointing. bought a "fresh" turkey for american thanksgiving. paid $94 for a big bird. it was frozen. it is my own fault really. i decided to give them a second chance. they sold me a frozen bird 2 years ago. just disgusting that they would charge so much for a 'fresh' product and they care so little that they didn't even bother to defrost it thoroughly before selling it to me. sasloves always sells fresh and is a much better option in ottawa. these guys are thieves.

probably the best burger i've had in ottawa. if you order a double, don't bother with fries.

veras is good. but the ottawa version is a shell of the origional van version. if your a fan of this one make sure to hit a veras on the west coast. they offer a very limited menu here and the fries and patties arent quite right. but i agree, its a good burger in both locations!

best burger in town (beats the works in my opinion) and the fries are amazing too! very small place with few seats (hard to get a seat when it's busy). you have to write down your order and it takes a while to get your food, but it's worth the wait! juicy 6oz patty with your choice of condiments. hidden treasure i'm glad i discovered!

the deli sandwiches are fantastic. be prepared with a big appetite or save the other half for dinner. the roast beef is rare, the roast pork is savory, and the turkey is juicy. you can have any of their deli meats on a variety of breads with lettuce/tomato and a choice of cheeses. do not miss out on this one. and note - beware of the burgers and fries as they will haunt you!

outstanding burgers. my burger here was pretty incredible. a really thick beef patty, generous portion of bacon, and of course, yummy cheese. i like the "vera's" sauce on my burger too.

not a huge fan of the "double fried" fries. they were very crispy.. and i like my fries a bit more chip-stand-soggy, to be honest (realise i'm in the minority here).

for a whole $3.99 you get a monstrous deli style sandwich with your choice of meat (turkey, smoked turkey, red rare roast beef, roast pork, black forest ham and smoked meat), bread (richmond bakery dark rye, light rye or bun), toppings and a beautiful kosher style brined pickle. be careful though, because you order at the deli meat counter and it can get crowded they do make sandwich mistakes. i'

it's a vera's now - vancouver's best burgers! not many tables when it's busy.
