best seafood on the island. very goodfishand it can all be cooked 5 different ways. you must try the sushi nachos. incredible.

went for lunch. crab cakes were fantastic. had the lunch combo with afishtaco: taco great, house salad average. would go again.

fun outside bar atmosphere. recommend fried shrimp and bajafishtacos. do not recommend the seafood chowder or the shrimp and artichoke dip.

go for thefishand nothing else. overall it is a decent enough place, they cookfishwell, shellfishok but they cannot cook meat. the family ordered the whitefish special that night, the fried shellfish platter and a new york strip. as i said the whitefish was well cooked seasoned well and overall tasted great.the fried shellfish well the scallops were very overcooked the shrimp were nice and the lobster tail wasn't anything to write home about but was good enough. the problems came with the steak, which was our third diners only choice seeing as he wasn't in the mood forfishand every other choice had a chance of being cooked with or in the same device as shellfish which he was allergic to, he couldn't even have fries because apparently they are cooked in the same fryer as the shrimp. any way the steak itself was poorly seasoned and grilled to hell, it was ordered as medium and we went as far to ask the waiter what they prepared medium as which he said pink throughout. when it came it was cut down the middle and no pink was to be found nor pinkish, just well done dark grey throughout. in short go there for greatfishbut don't order off their land menu

the meals were incredible. we ordered the mahi mahi with sweet heat. probably the bestfishi have ever ordered. dessert was delicious too

best seafood!. we had dinner last night with 8 people on the recommendation of some of our local friends. in addition to the large menu they had six freshfishselections that evening. started with their famous sushi nachos...wow. everyone tried a different entree and all were great. fun, relaxed atmosphere. my wife and i have been coming to hilton head for 10 years and are looking forward to our next visit to this hidden gem.

4 of us ate there friday night. awful food and mediocre service. 3 of us hadfish(so not good) and 1 had filet mignon and stuffed shrimp. have had better steak at golden corral. will never eat here again. serg group should be ashamed to have this restaurant in their group.

100% better than captain woody's next door. i had the tiliapiafishtaco with a blt salad with bleu cheese and sweet potato fries. everything was excellent

not so much. i'm okay with a tourist seafood spot that has okay food and a great view, or great view and okay food... unfortunately, i thought this place had mediocre food (at best) and absolutely no view except the cross-bay bridge. we went for lunch and had a mix of things, oyster poboy, shrimp burger,fishtacos... and nothing particularly interesting. unfortunately, while you assume this place has great views of the inland waterways, it really doesn't.

although i was disappointed in myfishtacos - but i readily admit that it was probably my fault for not asking beforehand how they're prepared, especially in the south - everything else about the black marlin bayside grill was wonderful. our service was impeccable and our waitress received a generous tip for her efforts.

service was fine.fish@ shrimp were great- light crisp batter. coleslaw was pulverized fries ok but little seasoning would have been nice & hushpuppies would have really been nice

great food, great drinks, great view of the sound. went for sunday dinner and was surprised to have no wait, though it was 5:30. we sat on the terrace overlooking the docks and sound.

great food! we had the raw oysters to start, followed by fresh wahoo, low country boil pot, and a great selection of interesting and local brews. kids had a great time too.

thefishwas really fresh, cooked in a orange teriyaki glaze, done just right. steamed broccolini was among the best i've had. though not known as a raw bar, the oysters, caught nearby in the sound were reasonable. they also had some gulf oysters which were nice, not too salty.

service was prompt, friendly, helpful, and attentive.

a great little find, worth a short drive. you should also try the hurricane bar.

alwaysgood. we had dinner here 7/25/11. as usual, very busy. food is consistently good, service friendly, atmosphere is relaxed. the outside dinning is among the best on the island. the entrees were good, the freshfishselections were very good. we go here every year and have never been disappointed.

great food - freshfish- excellent sauces & pairings. the food can't be beat!

fun atmosphere outside area is really nice. freshfishselection is the best i've seen onthe island!!fishis prepared with five great sauce choices. portions are great!! even the vegatables, which are typically not worth the time to eat, were amazing!! servers were attentive and very knowledgeable.
