in hilton head. this is the first review i've written. but this time i can't resist. first of all, my wife had the crab dip witch was so hard she could not dip into it and get it on the chips. besides this, it wasn't very tasty. the fried calamari was like cardboard we should have sent it back! now i ask you how can a seafood restaurant have lousy fried calamari??? my friend bob had the crispy stuffed chicken breast and found it to be gooey certainly not crispy. now i had the snow crab legs with baked potato and coleslaw and i loved my dinner. the portion of legs were more than enough. the slaw was cold and sweet just the way i like it. the potato was cooked perfectly. and my dinner was a modest $20.00. i was the envy of the table! one out of the four of us was pleased. the other three well... not happy!

excellent food...our server wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but the food and atmosphere easily out weighed our servers incompetence. the broiled seafood platter was great, and also the fresh catch of the day was unbelievable!

the breakfast is ok, too expensive, the sunrise cafe is just 200 feet away your better off going there!

walked in not expecting much on a sunday am. was hoping for a brunch buffet but they just had menu orders. was pleasantly surprised though, casual place but had a great breakfast. shrimp and grits were wonderful as was the quiche special for the day. good place, will certainly go back.

sunday brunch. the black marlin is off the beaten path but worthy of your discovery. located in a marina complex, this is a favorite happy hour haunt for locals and their dogs. if you have the chance, sit outside under the sun or under the tiki torches. they have live music and specials in the summer and can get busy.

the sunday brunch is fabulous with interesting selections such as the bananas foster french toast and shrimp and grits! if you are a bloody mary fan, they have a few innovations for you to choose from. the staff is very attentive and friendly. great atmosphere.

loved it. loved the experience. staff was very attentive. hope was very knowlegable about the menu and very frendly. the patio was very relaxing atmosphere. very dog and kid friendly. can't wait to visit again.

not a bad choice. unfortunately, it was pouring rain, so we did not get to experience the service outside, but the food was good, not great. i would give it another chance.

not bad, lot's and lot's of fried food. passed in a pinch, definitely not all that the reviews had it cracked up to be. decent portions, decent prices for hilton head...but if you are looking for something to "jump out at ya" keep looking.

loved it! great atmosphere, great food, great menu selection, great prices. been to lots of restaurants on the island over the years and this is one of the best.

it was yummy. we sat on the patio which could have been cleaner, but you can tell it is a local favorite. all of our brunches were great.
