admiral. i have been there twice. the first time i tried a special on the lunch menu. was briliant.. but i found $30 for a special very expensive.. the second time i went for your celeb sat night.. was a bit surprise at the radio tunes being played the exact same music i hear at work day in and day out. and all the lights being on. it didnt feel like a sat night at all. and the place emptied early and was dead so i went home pretty much straight after. i think the place is great, but its just missing a little something...it need a little atmosphere, mood lighting, some heaters in winter, and close the doors.. its cold! and decide the type of place your going to be? if it a club, throw on some of the latest tracks and turn the lights of, if its a pub, make it a homely atmosphere, put the fires on and a band, if its a resturant. then stick to that. and if its a sport bar. then put your posters up, turn on sky open a tab and do it properly. i do like the adi. but i think it a bit wishy washy, you walk in and have no idea what type of place your in..the food tastes great but.

would not bother, terrible. terrible serve, awful food, the manager has no customer service skills what so ever. our food took about an hour and a half to come to the table, in dribbles. we had to wait half an hour for a glass of wine and a beer. when we finally got our meals, the fish was over cooked, and dry, the mussels smelt like they were 20 mins away from off, the "medium rare" steaks were burnt, and the kids meals were inedible. when we raised the concern with the manager, her only advise was "well we've only been two weeks" she didn't offer any discount, or even seem at all concerned. she is rude, useless and completely incompetent. i've had better food from a roadhouse, and better serve from telstra.

just dropped in for a cheeky saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. we had the beef burger and the sticky pork ribs. meal size was large and good value for money, would definitely come back again.

now known as "the kwinana local" i had high expectations as i was coming here for beers and dinner with a kwinana local and he believes the food was top notch.
we arrived just as chase the ace finished, so the sports bar end was busy. we got served straight away, pirates pale on tap ($25 for two pints) and proceeded outside. there's a large screen with nba on, so we were happy.
after a couple pints, we moved to the bistro area and were served and seated straight away. we ordered garlic bread, mac and cheese bites, chilli mussels and the angus rib eye. very delicious food and it came out quite quickly for a busy bistro. standard pricing, average about $28 a main. big serves too.
definitely give it a try, even just to have a couple pints while watching the game.

we were guests for a celebration in the function room. well set out and friendly service. there were 20+ guests and a set menu with options. ( pasta - fish fried or grilled  and chips and grilled chicken breast)  we did have to wait quite a while once orders were taken, so suggest that you pick meals about 45 minutes before you want to eat if there is a big group of you. but when the food arrived it was beautifully presented and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. big helpings, too! saturday lunch time and the place was not very  busy so conversation was also possible.

sliders and chimmichurri chicken were really nice. admirals platter was really mediocre. atmosphere was relaxed, not too noisey (staff adjusted radio volume) and staff were great.

pfff. first day over 30 in october, beer is warm. the manager could not have been ruder or cared any less than he did. happier sitting in my stinking hot car in the car park than giving this place any more of my hard earned cash. shame. the promotion for this week, boganfest sums up my impressions of this pub. housos will enjoy this place like it is their sheraton, some other people will wonder why they came here. i won't come back if its the last pub in perth

hi 4 of us had diiner there on saturday night my husband an myself shared the bruschetta  and the bread was soggy then main morroccan spiced lamb shank looked good but no taste and the meat was chewy not falling of the bone at all couldn't even eat it and the carrots were closed to being raw that they were crunchy was very disappointed . hubby had the steak with creamy sauce the steak was nice but the sauce had no flavor no seasoning  the other couple had crispy pork belly nice but no crispy at all and her partner had the chicken schnitzel was yummy but they forgot the ham lol . myself and hubby have been there about 4 months ago had the rids and the house pie which was chicken and leek and it was amazing so good so now i'm just wondering if they changed chef's . we are going tonight for the ribs so i'm hoping they are as good as last time fingers crossed

hello at the admiral hotel. we came along on sunday the 22nd november, and enjoyed the band playing called "rhythym bros."
it was one of the best days we had, the music was absolutely fantastic.
you could not wish for better!

the two people were so friendly and their ,music was to die for.
thank you for the fantastic entertainment you put on.
regards.
the choice of food is fantastic very reasonably priced too.

unfortunately this place is very hit and miss. when it first opened the restaurant and bar food were great - especially the bar food which featured a tapas menu. i've visited a few times since it opened and has never tasted like what it did when it first opened. the bar menu now only features burgers and pizza which isn't tapas as advertised on their exterior walls. disappointing as the place has great potential.
