pfff. first day over 30 in october, beer is warm. the manager could not have been ruder or cared any less than he did. happier sitting in my stinking hot car in the car park than giving this place any more of my hard earned cash. shame. the promotion for this week, boganfest sums up my impressions of this pub. housos will enjoy this place like it is their sheraton, some other people will wonder why they came here. i won't comebackif its the last pub in perth

i've had two dinners here and one lunch here. twice it has taken a long time until our drinks were brought to the table. at the visit, our entree actually came first and drinks bit later on. this was when we had ordered drinks and food at the same time. the food that we have tried has been great apart from my gnocchi lunch, which was disappointing as the gnocchi tasted too floured and chewy. i will still recommend to try this place as i will gobackanother day.

too many chances. we keep comingbackafter hearing great changes have been made. three of us ate there today. really slow service, food came before drinks, had to ask twice.. this went on all of our stay. the big downer was the food. we all ordered different things, all have different tastes, but all agreed that the food had no seasoning at all (i mean zero). was really very very bland. the sauce in one meal was advertised as having garlic, had none we could taste, the moussaka was completely flavorless - would have sent itbackif i wasn't starving. the fish tasted of nothing, even the chips came out with no salt on it! the salt at the table was unusable and had so much moisture one at our table had to dig it out from the fill hole, just wasn't worth saying anything in the end because the service wasn't even there anyway. one too many chances. im over it. this place will never get its act together.

reputation redemption. i am excited to report they have gonebackto basics and nailed the good quality pub feeds which the kwinana area desperately needed!!

i have been to the admiral twice since the 7/02/14 when they announced their new menu & chef, very happy, service/food has finally made a huge come back!

we dined on $15 steak night with 4 others, had mushroom fries for entree (delicious & highly recommended) all 5 of us had the steak and all meals thoroughly enjoyed & devoured, good size steaks for $15
my partner & i wentbackagain last week, had mushroom fries & jalapeno poppers to start, and baja fish taco and veal boscaicola for mains, all yum and serving sizes meant there was too much food for the 2 of us to finish.

the admiral is our local once again

-----07 feb, 2014-----

the admiral is my local, and we used to go all the time when it first reopened, at least weekly, however in the past 12 months we have barely dined here due to the strange attempt at an a la carte menu, inconsistant service and meal quality.
today they have announced a new menu
i am excited to see if they have gonebackto basics and nailed the good quality pub feeds which the kwinana area desperately needs

i've been an admiral regular since it opened. we've had a couple of bad experiences food and service wise, but nothing bad enough to stop is coming back.

it is our go to place and the fact it's local is a plus.

things have only been improving in the last six months and now with breakfast on weekends, it's just getting better and better!

today we came in for breakfast and got a look at the new menu. the new head chef was trained by jamie oliver and the influence in the new menu is obvious. our meals were te beat we've ever had here and looking at the lunch/dinner options - i can't getbacksoon enough!

well done admiral yet again! i hope you're in the area for a long time to come!!

-----23 may, 2012-----

wasn't sure what to expect but was really impressed! it's about time people of kwinana had a place to go eat that was modern and quality instead of having to go elsewhere.

service was efficient and friendly and the food was amazing! could not fault a thing except no cocktail menu - hopefully this will come soon, it had only been open a week when we went!!

can't wait to go back!

slow service/good food. i went last night with my family for dinner (2 adults, 2 kids). the service was slow as it looked as they were under staffed for a saturday night. the upside was that the food was enjoyable. it was the first time we've had dinner there as we usually do lunch or breakfast which we have never had a problem with the service. yes we will be goingbackagain.

today i have never experiences customer service worse than this the first few times i went there and would recommend it to everyone, but definately not after today... it's a shame really my grandparents are over visiting so my partner and i decided the admiral would be a good idea for lunch. we got there around 12ish stood around waiting to be seated for a while a waitress setting up the tables looked over at us didn't say a word not even a polite smile or acknowledgement and walked away, the manager even came up to us said excuse me put something on the table behind us and walked off again, so we waited a bit longer decided we didn't want to stand there hovering over the family trying to enjoy their lunch below us so we seated ourselfs outside as there were no reserved signs there and i am sure my grandparents did not want to be standing all that time i then went up to the bar to enquire about the menu the manager then told us we needed to get up from the table we sat and gobackstand by the wait to be seated sign like children, after walkingbackto the table before i was about to explode the manager comes out following closely behind me then argues with me about their lack of customer service and then whinges about having 200 people to serve for breakfast-1. you work in a restaraunt what do you expect 2 you shouldn't be whinging about customers you should be pleased people even want to go there & eat with that terrible customer service you have. the thing is if we were acknowledged and if someone just said we are a bit busy but will bebackto seat you soon we would've been able to enjoy a meal there- my family and i will not bebackthere anytime soon thats for sure. i just hope the manager was having a bad day as with service like that they won't last long.

do not visit. food is half decent but that is where it stops.

music toooo loooouuud - even after asking them to turn it down - but saying that they probably couldn't hear me.

over priced drinks.

drunks are not evicted in fact they seem to be promoted by the staff.

security guards like to play games on there phones.

i live within walking distance and will not gobackthere.

delicious breakfast and great facilities. i recently had the pleasure of visiting this venue in kwinana and was firstly surprised at the quality of this venue. i was greeted by friendly staff and my family were welcomed into the venue and we ordered our breakfast. the young man that took our order was very well mannered and he ensured we were quickly served our coffee's and then our breakfast. the venue was warm and cosy and the food was perfect. we often have breakfast and normally we would do this in our neighborhood but on this occasion we ventured out and definitely are surprised at what is on offer at this new venue. the service was brilliant, the venue was immaculate and very comfortable and the food was second to none.

my wife was pleasantly impressed and surprised that i had given the family a new venue to frequent for breakfast and if it wasn't for that eye catching chalk board that drew us in to the venue and grabbed my attention, it seems like the admiral hotel is kwinana's best kept secret - we will definitely be comingbackto this venue, we have booked in for breakfast for the next three weeks as it's something that our family loves to enjoy each weekend and the admiral hotel is a new family favorite.

rockingham has nothing in comparison to this and we will be telling our friends and hopefully the admiral hotel opens a chain of venues and puts one in rockingham otherwise we will just have to keep coming to kwinana which isn't too far for a great start to our day.

the noone family.

disgusting. friends and i have been going to the admiral for lunch on a sunday since it opened... what the hell has happened to that place... it is now a disgusting place to go eat... the staff used to be nice and friendly.. now the manager is a rude pig of a man.. and what's with the menu's being on clip board's and thebackground music is too loud, it drowns out your conversations.. oh and the menu has changed (and not for the better) and don't bother to order the fish and chips they are served on bread boards (hello what happened to your plates) ... i used to recommend this place to my friends but not any more ... stay away from there.. they have gone down hill fast.. and not worth wasting your time or hard earn money on food and services that are well below average..

blah. went here for the first time after reading people's experiences on facebook. my husband and i thought the service and ambience was awesome. the food, however, is another story. my veal schnitzel, mash and italian coleslaw was covered in a black "sauce" that had both a soya sauce saltiness and a bigger balsamic vinegar taste. it was so overpowering. my husband had the grilled salmon that was raw in the middle. we won't beback- so wasn't what i expected - food wise that is. oh the other thing i didn't like was being yelled at from thebackof the restaurant. i don't think it was professional at all.

went for dinner 25/4/13. very disappointing. 2 waitresses for a full house. drinks came after meals as there was no one at the bar - which we could see. the prawn salad i could of just made at home. lettuce, soggy tomatoes, avo & thousand island sauce. no finesse watsoever, just a slap up meal. we never got a spoon wen i asked for one & wen th waitress brought the drinks, she also brought my glass of wine with not even a quarter of the glass filled to say they had run out of that wine! naturally i asked for another brand! the management clearly nowhere insight to help with the busy night & a third waitress appeared after we were leaving! not goingback- menu & professionalism needs a revamp!
