hello at theadmiralhotel. we came along on sunday the 22nd november, and enjoyed the band playing called "rhythym bros."
it was one of the best days we had, the music was absolutely fantastic.
you could not wish for better!

the two people were so friendly and their ,music was to die for.
thank you for the fantastic entertainment you put on.

went to theadmiralfor dinner tonight on the spur of the moment without booking. we were seated immediately. ( please bear in mind on of us is a wheelchair user) this was no problem as it has been in many other restaurants. orders were taken promptly by very professional staff. arriving in a suitably timely manner generous sized starters of garlic prawns in a beautifully silky garlic sauce. although i would of liked more garlic it was perfect as far as my wife was concerned. followed by mains again nice sized portions. overall a lovely night with great food will definitely return. the only negative i would say is the fast time between courses but that really is of little consequence. as an ex chef i am extremely fussy however i would recommend theadmiralfor dinner easily on par with any restaurant we have eaten at in recent times.

so its tgif! had dinner inadmiralhotel as its not far from where i live! i had the stuffed chicken which was cooked beautifully and my partner had a scotch fillet medium with creamy garlic which was cooked perfectly. i never thought they will have these kinds of meal here.

great food, will be back.. visited theadmirallast night for dinner. great local pub in kwinana. have to say the food was delicious. service was great. we had the thai beef salad, surf and turf, oysters and ribs. all of the dishes were outstanding. i had the thai beef salad which was full of flavour and visually very impressive. will definitely visit again.

standards fallen. we have dined at theadmiralseveral times now and each time, the standards are slipping lower.
first time we went for lunch, i wasn't even allowed to wear my stylish straw hat inside...last night i overheard someone say they had been told 'there is no dress code'. and sure enough, there were males in singlets ,shorts and thongs at dinner! this is what happens as the standards lower, the type of customer becomes less desirable.
if i want that sort of experience i can go to the medina hotel!
the food is still great but the service is almost non existent now. we waited several minutes before someone came to take us to our seats, no one took our drinks order ( had to go to the bar to order)..finally after about 20 minutes our order for meals was taken.
please, we need to have some good dining in kwinana city

wont go back. went for dinner tonight at theadmiralhotel kwinana to start off with the service was friendly and helpful. thats roughly about where the good things ended. my husband daughter and i ordered: lamb shanks (notice the plural) , kids meatballs, and chicken cordon blu. once the meals arrived we where firstly disappointed to see only one below average size shank arive on my husbands plate. my daughters meal was nothing to be desired but also not worth even mentioning. my cordon blu was tasteless, and actually was like plain chicken breast and plain unseasoned cream very lackluster and disappointing.

we politely spoke to the manager nathan about our problem with our meals only to receive arguments in return. we openly informed him that we are happy to pay for our meals however we would like to let them know of the problems. for instance why would they have written on the menu shanks plural if it is "normal" for only one to be served?. we received little appology from nathan, after paying for our meals and packing up to leave nathan jogged across a busy resrtraunt and accused us of not paying for our meals ! extremely embarrased and personally offended i let him know clearly we had certainly paid!!

this managers behavior was the final straw and we will not ever be returning to theadmiralagain and i implore you all to not waste your time or money there either.

reputation redemption. i am excited to report they have gone back to basics and nailed the good quality pub feeds which the kwinana area desperately needed!!

i have been to theadmiraltwice since the 7/02/14 when they announced their new menu & chef, very happy, service/food has finally made a huge come back!

we dined on $15 steak night with 4 others, had mushroom fries for entree (delicious & highly recommended) all 5 of us had the steak and all meals thoroughly enjoyed & devoured, good size steaks for $15
my partner & i went back again last week, had mushroom fries & jalapeno poppers to start, and baja fish taco and veal boscaicola for mains, all yum and serving sizes meant there was too much food for the 2 of us to finish.

theadmiralis my local, and we used to go all the time when it first reopened, at least weekly, however in the past 12 months we have barely dined here due to the strange attempt at an a la carte menu, inconsistant service and meal quality.
today they have announced a new menu
i am excited to see if they have gone back to basics and nailed the good quality pub feeds which the kwinana area desperately needs

i've been anadmiralregular since it opened. we've had a couple of bad experiences food and service wise, but nothing bad enough to stop is coming back.

it is our go to place and the fact it's local is a plus.

things have only been improving in the last six months and now with breakfast on weekends, it's just getting better and better!

today we came in for breakfast and got a look at the new menu. the new head chef was trained by jamie oliver and the influence in the new menu is obvious. our meals were te beat we've ever had here and looking at the lunch/dinner options - i can't get back soon enough!

well doneadmiralyet again! i hope you're in the area for a long time to come!!

wasn't sure what to expect but was really impressed! it's about time people of kwinana had a place to go eat that was modern and quality instead of having to go elsewhere.

service was efficient and friendly and the food was amazing! could not fault a thing except no cocktail menu - hopefully this will come soon, it had only been open a week when we went!!

can't wait to go back!

fathers day great. visited theadmiralagain yesterday for fathers day breakfast and what a beautiful meal we had again. the whole venue was booked out, the staff were running off their feet but the service didn't falter for a moment. the hostess was smiling and friendly, coffees were served pronto. we had to wait slightly longer than usual for our food but of course, one of the busiest days of the year. the food was worth the wait. egg benedict was amazing. the owners and management of theadmiralshould be praised for all the effort they are putting in to making this hotel a great place to be.

super impressed. my friends and i have been waiting in anticipation for the opening of theadmiralhotel. we have watched the progress of construction and couldn't wait to try the restaurant in this brand new tavern. so impressed! the decor of this venue is slick and inviting without being ott. the menu was great. typical pub style food at fair and reasonable prices and delicious. i ordered the chicken parmiagiana which was tasty and not greasy like so many other pubs/hotel dish up. oh and the garlic bread was the best. give it a go.

awesome - recommend. this place is awesome. tried theadmiralhotel on friday night for dinner and we had the best night out. we were served by a gentleman who was clearly the manager and he was polite, knowledgable about the wine list and he aimed to please. i had the chicken schnitzel which was much like a chicken parmiagana but much better. my friend has the chilli mussels and really enjoyed them. the place was buzzing with people. the staff were clearly very busy but managed to keep on top of things. after dinner we went next door and they had some great music playing live. a cool guy who djd and played guitar. definitely recommend to anyone looking for a night out in kwinana.

today i have never experiences customer service worse than this the first few times i went there and would recommend it to everyone, but definately not after today... it's a shame really my grandparents are over visiting so my partner and i decided theadmiralwould be a good idea for lunch. we got there around 12ish stood around waiting to be seated for a while a waitress setting up the tables looked over at us didn't say a word not even a polite smile or acknowledgement and walked away, the manager even came up to us said excuse me put something on the table behind us and walked off again, so we waited a bit longer decided we didn't want to stand there hovering over the family trying to enjoy their lunch below us so we seated ourselfs outside as there were no reserved signs there and i am sure my grandparents did not want to be standing all that time i then went up to the bar to enquire about the menu the manager then told us we needed to get up from the table we sat and go back stand by the wait to be seated sign like children, after walking back to the table before i was about to explode the manager comes out following closely behind me then argues with me about their lack of customer service and then whinges about having 200 people to serve for breakfast-1. you work in a restaraunt what do you expect 2 you shouldn't be whinging about customers you should be pleased people even want to go there & eat with that terrible customer service you have. the thing is if we were acknowledged and if someone just said we are a bit busy but will be back to seat you soon we would've been able to enjoy a meal there- my family and i will not be back there anytime soon thats for sure. i just hope the manager was having a bad day as with service like that they won't last long.

lovely surprise. my fiance and i decided to give theadmiralhotel a go for breakfast as we were hearing very positive feedback about their new kitchen management. it certainly didn't disappoint us! we were greeted by the owner who was only too happy to help with whatever we needed- continually refilling our water and provided us with newspapers. the service was fast, and they do really good coffee! with such a beautiful venue we were expecting higher prices, but they were extremely fair for the amount of food we had. the only hard part was trying to pick what to eat, pancakes or big breakfast!? we will definitely be going there again.

what a gem!. its amazing to read some of the negative reviews on this site when i have been to theadmiralhotel on a number of occasions in the past month and it has been nothing short of fantastic. consistent, high quality food, attentive service and what a lovely setting. we heard that they had opened for breakfast on the weekend so my husband and i decided to take the kids out and give it a try. the owners of the hotel were serving the customers and even gave us a couple of free coffees! unexpected but very appreciated. we feel so lucky to have a 'local' venue of such high quality and will continue to support them in the coming years.

delicious breakfast and great facilities. i recently had the pleasure of visiting this venue in kwinana and was firstly surprised at the quality of this venue. i was greeted by friendly staff and my family were welcomed into the venue and we ordered our breakfast. the young man that took our order was very well mannered and he ensured we were quickly served our coffee's and then our breakfast. the venue was warm and cosy and the food was perfect. we often have breakfast and normally we would do this in our neighborhood but on this occasion we ventured out and definitely are surprised at what is on offer at this new venue. the service was brilliant, the venue was immaculate and very comfortable and the food was second to none.

my wife was pleasantly impressed and surprised that i had given the family a new venue to frequent for breakfast and if it wasn't for that eye catching chalk board that drew us in to the venue and grabbed my attention, it seems like theadmiralhotel is kwinana's best kept secret - we will definitely be coming back to this venue, we have booked in for breakfast for the next three weeks as it's something that our family loves to enjoy each weekend and theadmiralhotel is a new family favorite.

rockingham has nothing in comparison to this and we will be telling our friends and hopefully theadmiralhotel opens a chain of venues and puts one in rockingham otherwise we will just have to keep coming to kwinana which isn't too far for a great start to our day.

my husband and i went to theadmiralhotel on saturday for breakfast...great breakfast and really attentive staff. we were seated quickly by a friendly staff member, had our order served a short time later and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. the coffee was good and hot! the hotel has only just started serving breakfast on the weekends and we will definitely return.
