thai-namite thai bistro and sushi bar

thai-namite isn't just a clever name. thisplaceis great. atmosphere and food both rate a 10 in my book. just terrific.

thisplaceis pretty good with a great ambience. the best part that made me happy was that it had a vegan menu which was helpful for us as most of the thai places have meat products in the vegetarian options also (broth). the soup spice level for medium heat is also a bit high for our palette. so be careful while ordering.

a chic thaiplaceoffering multiple signature dishes. the fried rice is good as is the pad prik. it has patio seating in the summertime, so you can get a feel of the brady st.

i tried thisplacebecause urbanspoon users liked it. my edamema was dry and overcooked. the rolls were tasteless. honestly there was nothing i got that was good. spend the money and go somewhere else. not to mention they use imatation crab and the fish is all pre cut .

thisplaceis a dump. 1.5 hrs for delivery. had to call twice to ask where our order was. was to told a manager would call me back to let me know the status of our delivery. no one ever called. food finally showed up and our sushi was hot!! literally inedible. i called back to ask for a manager they said there was nothing they can do. terrible customer service, they are obviously not concerned about keeping local customers.

don't let the reviews lead you astray. tonight i called izumi's for takeout and they were too busy for takeouts so i logged on here for another sushi restaurant to check out and was lead to thai-namite. it had a better rating than izumi's.

we ordered, service was fast and friendly however the quality of the sushi was mediocre at best. if you like very americanish sushi with lots of special sauces and super strong flavors that over compensate for the texture of sushi, thisplacemight be more of an interest to you. i almost felt like the sushi was prepackaged and not quite fresh like at other places. i could be totally wrong but that's how i felt with it's flavor and texture.

also it didn't really sit well in my stomach. i might try the thai here some time but probably won't ever order sushi. good friendly service experience, just mediocre sushi.

nope.. i am sicilian and eat everything. love all seafood and sushi. eat octopus 3 days a week. wife loves thai. says "thai/sushiplaceon brady." we go. seated at sushi bar. sushi bar has "k"rab, salmon, maybe snapper....behind bar, two 20 somethings sitting on stools, one leisurely pre-making generic rolls, the other, with 20 piercings in his face, playing with a straw stuck into a 24 ounce cup of orange pop, right next to the roll production. 10 minutes go by, we ask if they will take our order, some incomprehensible reply is made. the two guys move around and appear to communicate with someone....5 more minutes...no service....a domani buster! there were no more than 10 people inside and out. at least four waitresses.

fantastic!. we'd been wanting to try thisplacefor awhile. usually any asian style food is right up my alley. we were nervous at first because it took 5 minutes of us standing in the restaurant for anyone to even acknowledge us. then, when we were seated it took almost 10 minutes for someone to even come and ask us our drink order. they were quite busy, but i think those first moments are huge when it comes to making a first impression. once we did order though our drinks and food came quickly. we ordered the spring rolls as an app. they were incredibly good. they were filled with yummyness (i know thats not a word, but it's the best way to describe them), and the sauce to dip them in was excellent... not just an average sweet and sour. for the main course we ordered the cashew chicken and the hawaiian chicken. both meals were delicious and had a lot of flavor. the veggies were fresh... honestly some of the best thai food we've ever had. after we finished though we had trouble again with the service. it took a long time to get our server's attention and seemed to take a long time to get our check. the other servers looked like they were working quickly and with great care, so i think we just had a bad server. all in all, we will definitely be back again... the food was just way too good not to! seriously ... give them a shot!

delicious food a must try!!!. tried the chicken skewers with a peanut sauce as an appetizer and it was superb.

volcano chicken was the best i have ever had. i will definitely come back again and again.

great service, very attentive staff. didn't wait long for the food and theplacewas busy.
