i like it but it's overpriced. this thai food is realgoodbut it costs waaay to much. you should get bigger servings for prices like this. however the food is yummy and the service is so so.

this place is prettygoodwith a great ambience. the best part that made me happy was that it had a vegan menu which was helpful for us as most of the thai places have meat products in the vegetarian options also (broth). the soup spice level for medium heat is also a bit high for our palette. so be careful while ordering.

a chic thai place offering multiple signature dishes. the fried rice isgoodas is the pad prik. it has patio seating in the summertime, so you can get a feel of the brady st.

poor service, goodfood. thai-namite has some of the best thai food in milwaukee. their tom-yum and tom-kha soups are fabulous, rolls are fresh and delicious, noodle dishes are cooked well (most of the time) and their appetizers aregoodtoo. the food makes this restaurant one of my most frequent dinner spots however the service has gotten so irritating that its hard for me to continue giving them my business. i often get delivery and food will come an hour and a half later, cold and soggy. i will call during their open hours and i get no answer multiple times. i've numerously had wrong food delivered and then asked for it back before i could get the right thing, and have dealt with plenty of attitude on the phone. it's a shame that they so often end up disappointing, whether we sit down, carry-out or get delivery.
its worth it to try this restaurant and hopefully you'll have agoodexperience; personally ill be back on the look out for somewhere else to spend my money.

don't let the reviews lead you astray. tonight i called izumi's for takeout and they were too busy for takeouts so i logged on here for another sushi restaurant to check out and was lead to thai-namite. it had a better rating than izumi's.

we ordered, service was fast and friendly however the quality of the sushi was mediocre at best. if you like very americanish sushi with lots of special sauces and super strong flavors that over compensate for the texture of sushi, this place might be more of an interest to you. i almost felt like the sushi was prepackaged and not quite fresh like at other places. i could be totally wrong but that's how i felt with it's flavor and texture.

also it didn't really sit well in my stomach. i might try the thai here some time but probably won't ever order sushi.goodfriendly service experience, just mediocre sushi.

fantastic!. we'd been wanting to try this place for awhile. usually any asian style food is right up my alley. we were nervous at first because it took 5 minutes of us standing in the restaurant for anyone to even acknowledge us. then, when we were seated it took almost 10 minutes for someone to even come and ask us our drink order. they were quite busy, but i think those first moments are huge when it comes to making a first impression. once we did order though our drinks and food came quickly. we ordered the spring rolls as an app. they were incredibly good. they were filled with yummyness (i know thats not a word, but it's the best way to describe them), and the sauce to dip them in was excellent... not just an average sweet and sour. for the main course we ordered the cashew chicken and the hawaiian chicken. both meals were delicious and had a lot of flavor. the veggies were fresh... honestly some of the best thai food we've ever had. after we finished though we had trouble again with the service. it took a long time to get our server's attention and seemed to take a long time to get our check. the other servers looked like they were working quickly and with great care, so i think we just had a bad server. all in all, we will definitely be back again... the food was just way toogoodnot to! seriously ... give them a shot!

the price is right!. very nice people work here, and the food is very reasonably priced. i don't like sushi, so i've only had the thai food here a couple of times. the volcano chicken wasgoodbut underspiced. i also had the sweet'n'sour chicken (i think they call it hawaiian chicken but i'm not sure) and that was good. i'd definitely return.

service was slow and naive; food came out all the wrong times, separate checks was confusing for her. but the food itself was great! milwaukee sushi roll was superb, pad thai good, panang chicken curry apparently really rated too.goodprice - $40 a head all inclusive! nice open setting and decor. recommend.

great lunch specials too!. i agree completely with the two previous user reviews. i can only add that the have excellent lunch specials as well. $8 for a satisfying lunch portion thai dish with rice, spring roll and a drink -or- $9 for two sushi rolls and a drink. same great atmosphere and service. on the way out the door, i caught a whiff of the volcano chicken which smelled fantastic. i know what i'll order on my next visit.

update 2/21/11: now that i've tried the volcano chicken, i can say it tastes asgoodas it smells!
