the crispy squid was not greasy, crisp as promised and more tasty than most italian fried calamari i have had. the fresh rolls were refreshing, tightly wrapped just the way i like it. the astor roll was slightly spicy and had a lightly smoky aroma. the summer roll was very good, the salmon very fresh and the lemon sauce was a nice counterbalance to the rich fish. the flavors definitely reflected the name it was given. the only dish i have found fault with was the thai-namite curry. although the sauce was flavorful and rich, the stewed beef cubes were hard to chew, a bit tough, reminded me of cheap meat. the roti that came with it was a bit doughy for my taste. i would ask for rice if i ever had it again. overall i have had lots of great meals here.
