thai-namite thai bistro and sushi bar

i like it but it's overpriced. this thaifoodis real good but it costs waaay to much. you should get bigger servings for prices like this. however thefoodis yummy and the service is so so.

thai-namite isn't just a clever name. this place is great. atmosphere andfoodboth rate a 10 in my book. just terrific.

the vibes here were a lot different than i thought. didn't really have as much of a "sit down" restaurant feel. service was ok and thefoodwas pretty good. it closed fairly early though (9:30 i think). overall would probably go again

don't think i'll go back again. i wanted to like this place, but i've had better service at fastfoodjoints. thefoodusually tastes good, and i don't mind the longer wait, but there is something to be said for the way in which waiters treat you (the one girl with the long hair and color strip in it is especially snooty and makes no pretenses about it). some of the waiters seem really young, and maybe they lack experience? it's a shame because i would probably have been a regular there, but like the guy above said, i don't think they care about keeping local customers. i'm going to stick with the thai restaurant down the street.

this place is a dump. 1.5 hrs for delivery. had to call twice to ask where our order was. was to told a manager would call me back to let me know the status of our delivery. no one ever called.foodfinally showed up and our sushi was hot!! literally inedible. i called back to ask for a manager they said there was nothing they can do. terrible customer service, they are obviously not concerned about keeping local customers.

greatfoodtop to bottom. my wife and i order delivery about once per week...we love it. the brady st roll is probably my favaorite...if you want something non sushi, go with a curry dish or the holy basil.

poor service, good food. thai-namite has some of the best thaifoodin milwaukee. their tom-yum and tom-kha soups are fabulous, rolls are fresh and delicious, noodle dishes are cooked well (most of the time) and their appetizers are good too. thefoodmakes this restaurant one of my most frequent dinner spots however the service has gotten so irritating that its hard for me to continue giving them my business. i often get delivery andfoodwill come an hour and a half later, cold and soggy. i will call during their open hours and i get no answer multiple times. i've numerously had wrongfooddelivered and then asked for it back before i could get the right thing, and have dealt with plenty of attitude on the phone. it's a shame that they so often end up disappointing, whether we sit down, carry-out or get delivery.
its worth it to try this restaurant and hopefully you'll have a good experience; personally ill be back on the look out for somewhere else to spend my money.

decent food, terrible service. like another user said: service was slow and naive. our party of four spent over two hours at this place. in that time numerous people were seated and served before us, while others were seated and left in disgust after not seeing a waitress in over 20 minutes. we were even overcharged $35 on our bill (which they did remedy albeit without apology). yeah thefoodis pretty good, but with so many other great sushi and thai places in mke why bother with this place. avoid thai-namite.

fantastic!. we'd been wanting to try this place for awhile. usually any asian stylefoodis right up my alley. we were nervous at first because it took 5 minutes of us standing in the restaurant for anyone to even acknowledge us. then, when we were seated it took almost 10 minutes for someone to even come and ask us our drink order. they were quite busy, but i think those first moments are huge when it comes to making a first impression. once we did order though our drinks andfoodcame quickly. we ordered the spring rolls as an app. they were incredibly good. they were filled with yummyness (i know thats not a word, but it's the best way to describe them), and the sauce to dip them in was excellent... not just an average sweet and sour. for the main course we ordered the cashew chicken and the hawaiian chicken. both meals were delicious and had a lot of flavor. the veggies were fresh... honestly some of the best thaifoodwe've ever had. after we finished though we had trouble again with the service. it took a long time to get our server's attention and seemed to take a long time to get our check. the other servers looked like they were working quickly and with great care, so i think we just had a bad server. all in all, we will definitely be back again... thefoodwas just way too good not to! seriously ... give them a shot!

the price is right!. very nice people work here, and thefoodis very reasonably priced. i don't like sushi, so i've only had the thaifoodhere a couple of times. the volcano chicken was good but underspiced. i also had the sweet'n'sour chicken (i think they call it hawaiian chicken but i'm not sure) and that was good. i'd definitely return.

service was slow and naive;foodcame out all the wrong times, separate checks was confusing for her. but thefooditself was great! milwaukee sushi roll was superb, pad thai good, panang chicken curry apparently really rated too. good price - $40 a head all inclusive! nice open setting and decor. recommend.
