thisfoodis healthy and tasty!!!!!

i loved this place!!! perfect portions, great flavor and nice choices!!!! i am from the phoenix area and we have flower child which is similar, so it's nice to have a place to go to when we visit san diego!!!! put one here in gilbert please!!!!!

i love this place. thefoodis so darn good and there are plenty of choices of sides so you can get just what you want. perfect for lunch or dinner!

i always go here for dinner and to get a lunch for the next day whenever i’m in san diego for a teaching weekend. thefoodis fresh and well prepared, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the restaurant is clean and well ventilated. i love sitting outside. you can’t go wrong eating here. it’s in a beautiful location with great food

tender greens is a cafeteria-style first come, first serve organic restaurant where you order yourfoodat one end and pay at the other end and seat yourself. one of nine in california, tender greens relies on fresh-picked produce from small local farms.

as the name suggests it hasfoodon the more healthy side.  i recommend the seared ahi platter or the sliced steak. they do a big business and usually have a few people in line waiting to order.  they are very accommodating to your dietary needs. i avoid carbs so they always offer me alternatives.  i can eat here and feel like i ate a real meal, yet a healthy meal.  price for platter and a drink is in the $12-$15 range, a little pricey for a counter service restaurant, but still worth the money.  they have a big crew working there and i give the company credit for training them well and hiring good people.

excellent. healthy freshly prepared salads and main courses. it is an open kitchen where you can see everything prepared as you make your way down to the cashier. this is a place that is concerned withfoodsourcing; everything is quality! even coffee is freshly ground for each cup. recommended! this is the only unit in san diego county, unfortunately.

i’ve been dying to try tender greens (http://www.tendergreensfood.com/) ever since it opened in liberty station in point loma, san diego. when you walk in, you immediately place yourfoodorder. you pass a window of delectable goods, and end up at a cash register where you place your drink order and pay. they hand you yourfoodon a half baking sheet – interesting touch – and you grab your silverware and napkins. you seat yourself either inside or outside. it’s cafeteria style dining, but with 4 star food. there’s a desire to serve great qualityfoodhere: most of the produc

amazing value. order the "on a plate" chicken or steak with a simple salad and mashed potatoes. so yummy! it's like a fancy restaurant meal for $10! plus thefoodis locally grown and organic mostly. i love how you can watch them make yourfoodand see all the fresh ingredients.
downside...the vibe is very yuppy hipster and sometimes snobby, but oh well. also, the restaurant is way too small for the number of tables they have crammed in there, not handicap accessible.

love the flank steak in every option...as a sandwich, in a salad with terragon dressing, & as an entree with those delish mashed potatoes! good quality food. a nice break from fastfoodor heavy, fattening meals.

tender greens for not a lot of green. tender greens serves really goodfoodfast, and at reasonable prices. it's not just salad--you can get roast chicken, angus flank steak, herb brushed albacore, or grilled veggies as a hot entree, on a sandwich, or added to one of 5 simple salads. there are also 10 "big" entree salads to choose from, plus soup and desserts. beer and wine are available.
