delicious find. i'm from the deep south so i appreciate a good meat and veggie plate. recently i traveled to san diego for a business convention and when i arrived it was lunchtime so i pulled up urban spoon and saw this place was close by and had good reviews. if i lived near this place i'd eat here all the time. the salt and pepperchickenwas perfect and the portion size was very generous. the mashed potatoes were probably the best i've ever had. even the arugula salad was great. i ate every bite on my plate. the inside of the restaurant was very clean and hip and the place was brisk with business at 11am.

attempted the steak sandwich, bbqchickenplate of mixed greens and the salmon, all were truly bice abs a decent bit size. heaps of seating and worth the smidgen additional as the sustenance and plates of mixed greens are stunning. unquestionably justified regardless of a visit in the event that you are after a sound and filling lunch.

we tried several dishes was very good would eat there again . ahi,beef, andchickenwere very good tender and tasty. only complaint would be the big pepper shaker is full of salt not pepper ruined a good dinner. we were not the only ones that tried to ruin a meal need to change that

amazing value. order the "on a plate"chickenor steak with a simple salad and mashed potatoes. so yummy! it's like a fancy restaurant meal for $10! plus the food is locally grown and organic mostly. i love how you can watch them make your food and see all the fresh ingredients.
downside...the vibe is very yuppy hipster and sometimes snobby, but oh well. also, the restaurant is way too small for the number of tables they have crammed in there, not handicap accessible.

has the pace of a jewish deli with good reason to back its popularity! vegan options if you like, but deliciously accommodating to those who prefer seared tuna, chinesechickensalad, or flank steak. nicely paired wine options too. come early if you want the soup of the day. busy 'til closing.

wow. very impressed.. this place is awesome. think panera bread but with much fresher ingredients (non mass produced), wonderful service, and a very cool atmosphere.
i was here in san diego for a quick business trip and needed to escape from my hotel for some decent food. i found tender greens on the web, went there, ordered the chinesechickensalad, and was blown away. probably one of the top 5 best salads i've ever had. fresh, roasted, pulledchickenpieces, cilantro, sliced carrots, peanuts, etc. i wish i was staying longer so that i could go back and try more of their menu.
just an fyi that google maps doesn't have their address properly mapped. so be sure to not rely on your iphone to get you there. instead, look at the actual address and navigate the old fashioned way.
