taste of asia

it was about the third time i have received a menu on my door from taste ofasiaand i love asian food, so i finally broke down and decided to try it this evening. it won't beat out my go to asian food spot, but it was not bad. this review is for food and delivery only as i did not go into the restaurant.

egg drop soup- not the best i've had in the area, but still a very respectable variation here at taste of asian. normal thick consistency. not too salty. good amount of cooked egg. recommended.

hawaii roll- california roll with spicy tuna on top. i am not a huge fan of the sushi that i've tried out here except for a couple of places, but this one is the best of this type of sushi from these types of places.

kung pao chicken- not the best. quite bland. no dry hot peppers seen at all.

general tso's chicken- pretty good. it was the nice crunchy consistency on the outside i like. moist interior. great sauce.

in conclusion i think taste ofasiais respectable and i would go back again sometime, but it won't take over as my once a week spot.

order all the time!. it is burleson & there's not a ton of choices for good chinese. taste ofasiais a chain but it's by far the best in town. love that they deliver! sometimes they have a lady answer the phone who hardly speaks english (reminds me of the dude where's my car, when they argued with the speaker) anyways...as long as they understand you, they are very nice, punctual. i prefer delivery to eating in dining room as food can be slower. we do love this place though & eat their every week.

extremely impolite service and manager. taste ofasiaof burleson tx. we were eating at the restaurant a party of five. everyone order their food, when it came, my food was terrible, the meat tasted bad and the noodles were dried and unseasoned. i told the waiter and all he said was "that's! what you ordered!" in other words he din't give a .... no appologies or ask what the problem was. when the bill came it was not removed from the charges. so, i called for the manager and told him the situation. then, he said "if everybody orders and everyone says they don't like it then what?" no appalogies or tried to figure out what happened. very dissatisfied. we were regular customers of the restaurant and loved the food, however, this is the first time this has happened and we were not satisfied with the treatment we got.

love it. i love sushi. and taste ofasiahas the best sushi in burleson that i have found. the portions are large and artfully prepared. be mindful, this is not a buffet. this is a great asian restaurant that has great service and great food. i have been over 10 times and have never been disappointed at all.

i just went to the taste ofasiaoff bryant irving and noticed a familiar face. it was steven! although he was not wearing his name tag, i recognize that face any where. looks like taste ofasiais doing well if that answers your question on how good the food is. like tony the tiger said " there grrrrreat"!!!!!

taste ofasiais great! the workers are so kind and they speak great english too! there food is awesome and they always bring it out fresh! no microwaves there people!

wonderful!! best there is!!!. my family and i eat at taste of china at least twice a week and very often even more! we eat lunch, dinner, snacks, just whatever! the people who work there are very friendly and aim to please! if you have any problems, just ask for willie bob - he's fantabulous! their food is good and i've never had anything there that is not good. now, i will say that i don't eat sushi, but i have friends and family who do and they say that taste ofasiahas great sushi! the reviewer who said it's not good and expensive and that the staff lied and didn't tell her there were mushrooms in the dish - well, something crazy happened to the food, the staff did not lie as the dishes are designed for one person and the staff is not psychic to read your mind and know how big your appetite is, and did you ask if there were mushrooms???? if i could afford to eat out every nite, it would be at taste ofasiaat least 90% of the time!

best asian food in burleson!!. i seriously eat at taste ofasiaevery week. by now the staff recognizes me and knows to bring sweet and sour sauce to my table with my egg rolls even before i ask :p

their portions are large (who can complain about that?), the food is authentic and delicious (i love their all white meat chicken), the prices are ridiculously cheap (for six dollars i get a fantastic meal with leftovers, much better than seven dollars for a hamburger meal!), and their staff is very sweet to me. i have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a meal.

they always let me adapt my dishes- sesame seeds on the side, no this or that. i always pay two dollars extra for lo mein instead of rice because its so delicious! they give me a huge portion and i always eat it the next day or night. i love their staff, their always friendly, courteous, accommodating, and sincerely kind.

i tell everyone i know about this small new restaurant in btown, and i hope it becomes a huge success!

love it. i was so excited to see taste ofasiacome to burleson. i have been a fan of this restaurant's other locations, and i have to say this one is just as good. my personal favorite: green tea, miso soup, asian pecan chicken (i'd guess the staff would know who i am just from that order.. lol). this is one of my favorite places to chill out with a book or my laptop on a sunday afternoon for a great meal. matter of fact, take away lunch today is chicken fried rice :)

first of all, i like to correct what the previous reviewer said about this restaurant. i think it is not fair to judge a restaurant based on a delivery order. it may be miscommunication between the caller and the order taker in this restaurant. also, it maybe due to the distance and time the foods being delivered that make the foods dry. however, i know they do allow customer the option to excluded anything from their dishes...mushroom, peanut, or spicy sauces if they choose to. for myself, i have been to eat in this restaurant couple of times. they serve great authenticasiadishes that no comparison to any chinese buffet or expressasiafood in burleson tx. their dishes price is right and fair, their foods cook fresh and wonderful, their servers are all friendly and excellent indeed. of course, there is still room for improvement in this great littleasiarestaurant in our town here. if we really want burleson to grow and development into a new city. we should give this local forth worth based taste ofasiaa chance to stay in business and thrive with us. i would judge a person or busi
