omg, i've loved this joint forever, i used to come here every week w my x partner, however i have bought my nanna down for her very first experience of japanese food, she loves it!! and yes she will b back... maybe next wk lol
give a go ppl, u won't b disappointed

food is pretty nice... i had the gyoza and yaki soba for main. pretty basic inside but the staff are very friendly. my only gripe is its cash only... its 2013 people... get an eftpos machine!

best food in mandurah. this is my favourite restaurant in mandurah. i’m a local and taku is my first choice. the food is amazingly tasty, great value and the serving size is very generous. never been disappointed!!!
spicy tori kara set, chicken yakisoba and the teriyaki are my faves :) yum!!!

we are arrived late & the staff were more than happy to accomodate us. after a quick look at the menu the food came out pretty quickly. each serving was absolutely delicious! pity they weren't open monday cause we were going to eat their again. highly recommend.

yum yum. great food highly recommend the soups, ngiri, katsu rolls and gyoza. prices are fair but bit annoying no eftpos yet. restaurant a little small but at least that means the service and food is quick. one of my favorite restaurants in mandurah. saves me a trip all the way to east perth for sushi train.

absolutely great!. we had the set menu c. great taste, great variety and very well priced, how can one complain. love the sashimi. what a little gem hidden in mandurah. will definately be back. well done guys!!

was really looking forward to my dinner at taku after having read all the good reviews and an outstanding percentage votes on urbanspoon which is 95%. food is very salty, slightly burnt for my teriyaki fish. portion is ok for the price but i expect it to be bigger. we werent offered to have water or something to drink when we were placing our order. staffs were not attentive. i would try to avoid this restaurant if i'm visiting mandurah again.

simple, easy, satisfying. i love a healthy, cheap, easy meal. taku provided just that. friendly staff, good food, casual and comfortable. we will go back. (note- byo alcohol and no eftpos)

very busy and small place hard to get a table but food is good. prices are reasonable and service is quick. no credit card facilities or eftpos is annoying these days.

good food and service. a bit of a novel concept for mandurah, a restaurant with good tasty food service and a fair price. will eat here again for sure. its not hard, tasty fresh food served timely. well done!

so cheap. we had takeaway from taku last night. we shared a katsu chicken, terriyaki fish and chicken yakisoba. all the meals were really delicious, particularly the fish, which consisted of 3 huge fillets. it ended up being 40 dollars something, which considering the size of the meals is unbelievably cheap. really, really disappointed that this place is in mandurah and we're not, although i'm not really disappointed i don't live in mandurah.

we live local & taku has been our favourite restaurant for years! we get take away at least once a week & its always fantastic! very cheap too!!
