really good food and mediocore service. my first trip here i had decent service but the waitress seemed very lost and more anxious to leave halfway through our visit. nonetheless, thetacosare awesome! i never tried tofu before my visit but the tofu currytacosare great and the same goes for the thai peanut chicken tacos. if anything, skip out on the expensive and rather bland empanadas.

meh, not impressed. i had the koreantacosand korean burrito, didn't finish either. you are much better off going to hawkers asian street fare down the street or korean taco box food truck.

when i first tried tako cheena i was very impressed. still to this day i like going and enjoy their selection of food. i personally love their cod and shrimptacosthe best. the burritos can be a bit bland but their specials tend to be pretty good, like their arepas de pernil. which kinda takes a shot at making puerto rican style pork, it's good just not as good as real puerto rican pork. nonetheless their food and atmosphere is fun. just be careful when you go it might be too crowded.

this place is so good and so cheap.
under $10 for 3tacosand a full belly, they are moving next door in a bigger location with a pick up window for orders to go.
my favoritetacosare in order: the cod, the crispy tofu, the pulled pork and the peanut chicken!!!!

the empanadas were great, but they were out of pretty much every taco on their menu at 7pm on a friday night. the meat on thetacoswe did get was dry and salty. probably won't go back.

waited last minute to get food on a sunday night and decided to give this a try... absolutely delicious. my brothers and i loved thetacosand my boyfriend couldn't even finish the huge burrito. and the price? perfect. definitely would suggest to anyone who is looking for some good late night eats. it's also just far enough to be out of the way of the majority of tourist foot traffic

5 out of 5 sprouts there is an explosion of unique and trendy restaurants in orlando.  the city is a well-known mecca of roller coasters and big furry characters but did you know there is hardly a cuisine you can’t find here  take tako cheena for example- a fusion of asian and mexican culture that is popular for business lunches and late-night munchies. the menu is mostlytacosand at $2.80-3.50 a pop, one can really mix and match to customize a unique and flavorful meal.  the most popular choice is the pano crusted cod taco - big lightly fried pieces of fish mixed with cabbage and scallions.  this is not your average fish taco- there is a sweet and sour onion sauce here that adds an asian twist and elevates this taco to superstar status. another popular choice is the thai peanut chicken taco - or in our case- the thai peanut tofu taco .  sauteed tofu with a cilantro cabbage mix and crushed peanuts stuffed into a flour tortilla.  one thing tako cheena does is stuff the tortilla.  it’s

average food and subpar service. i really wanted to like this restaurant, interesting food concepts and good location. there are however a myriad of negatives. i waited for over an hour and 20 minutes to get my tako. i should have walked out but the only time i saw the waitress was when she was assuring the table near mine that the food would be ready in about 5 more minutes. when the food was finally done there was hardly an apology for the wait just walking off to hang out with the other 7 employees in the kitchen, (1 for every 2 customers there). after the service and wait you would think the food would have to be amazing to compensate, but the "tako" was bland and couldn't even be compared totacosfrom any number of cheap taco chain restaurants. overall it was a horrible experience that i hope some people will make sure they avoid.

great cheap eats. if you've never been to tako cheena, and you like street food with a gourmet twist, you need to go to tako cheena. thetacosare around $3 each, and are delicious. highly recommend the asian beef. the arepas are very greasy (compared to traditional real venezuelan ones) and are definitely a gut bomb. service is decent, although last night i asked for a water and one taco, and never got my water, had to get it myself. great place overall.

all around awesomeness!. i went here for the first time saturday night, and i was blown away! i cannot wait to come back to this wonderful place.

totally hip, eclectic environment. small area yet doesn't feel overwhelming or crowded even when full. the vibe of the place is casual, comfortable, inviting, yet very cool. it's open late night, so this is a happening spot to begin or end your night. (closed mondays- take note)

i went with a few friends for a bite to eat after going out saturday night, and it was a perfect end to the evening. our server, a cute younger female in great stockings, was extremely friendly and accommodating (she moved tables together for us in the middle of a rush and didn't blink an eye about taking on a rowdy party of 6 at 1:30am). i wish we remembered her name, but she has short bangs and was excellent - i'll definitely try to get into her section next time!

on to the food: the 3 taco combo (thai peanut chicken) was delicious and filling (my companion described it as better than sex) - super full of flavor. my buddhist friend got the tofutacosand said it was fantastic- if more people tried it they wouldn't miss meat so much! i had a burrito (i don't remember what it's called but it was an indian-inspired samosa tasting delicious experience). we tried a few other things but these were our standouts! there isn't an item on that menu that i wouldn't try based on my first experience here - if they were open today i'd be there right now!

overall- great place. everyone should try this great little gem in the mills/50 area.

10 out of 10. must vehemently disagree with joe below me.

i have had tremendous food here and it is one of my favorite places to eat in all of orlando. in a conversation with 4rivers, boston's fish house, and the ravenous pig as some of the best eats in all of orlando. the veggie empanada is amazing and im not even vegetarian, the chorizotacosfeatured on special were incredible. great way to support local business. i prefer tako cheena to pom poms even!
