really good food and mediocore service. my first trip here i had decentservicebut the waitress seemed very lost and more anxious to leave halfway through our visit. nonetheless, the tacos are awesome! i never tried tofu before my visit but the tofu curry tacos are great and the same goes for the thai peanut chicken tacos. if anything, skip out on the expensive and rather bland empanadas.

great food. awful, terrible service. served warm water forgot to refill despite asking three times. forgot about our table in a restaurant that seats no more than 30 watched our food sit in the window while our "server" chatted with some friends.still tipped 20% because i served tables for years but will never go back despite delicious food. go drink at wills first so you don't notice how awful theserviceis and enjoy the food.

average food and subpar service. i really wanted to like this restaurant, interesting food concepts and good location. there are however a myriad of negatives. i waited for over an hour and 20 minutes to get my tako. i should have walked out but the only time i saw the waitress was when she was assuring the table near mine that the food would be ready in about 5 more minutes. when the food was finally done there was hardly an apology for the wait just walking off to hang out with the other 7 employees in the kitchen, (1 for every 2 customers there). after theserviceand wait you would think the food would have to be amazing to compensate, but the "tako" was bland and couldn't even be compared to tacos from any number of cheap taco chain restaurants. overall it was a horrible experience that i hope some people will make sure they avoid.

great cheap eats. if you've never been to tako cheena, and you like street food with a gourmet twist, you need to go to tako cheena. the tacos are around $3 each, and are delicious. highly recommend the asian beef. the arepas are very greasy (compared to traditional real venezuelan ones) and are definitely a gut bomb.serviceis decent, although last night i asked for a water and one taco, and never got my water, had to get it myself. great place overall.

an absolute steal! with a refer local discount.

i don’t know if all the bad customerservicereviews caused these guys to kick it up a few notches, but my first experience was nothing short of amazing! absolutely the best customer service- they were attentive, knowledgable and excited about their food. i even heard a seasoned vet asking a newbie if she “thanked” a customer before leaving.

now lets talk food! i had the cod and it was ok nothing that would make you "oh my god" (other than the cod sauce that it comes with.) then came the pork belly and i wanted to go behind the counter and smack somebody, it was deeeeeeelish! i also tried the ginger apple empanada and it was good but had a smidge to much ginger in it (not something i’d go mental over.)  now the start of the show, taco that makes you wanna stand up and tip your imaginary hat, the tofu curry dusted taco.  what an explosion of delicious, unique flavors.

at the end of the day for $5 bucks i will endure the inferno that is the venue itself, as its killer hot in that mofo, honestly, i'd come back happy to pay full price, especially that curry tofu.

we arrived at 11:00am. we were one of the first people there but it started getting busy immediately. i am a fan of small menus. i like to get straight to the point and order. we started out with korean beef and chinese bbq takos, buffalo chicken empanadas, and indian butter chicken burrito. the takos were the first to be devoured. the taste was amazing. it truly is restaurant meets food truck as they claim on their window. i then tried the empanada. wifey was not a fan. as a latino i can eat anything fried. couldn't really taste the buffalo chicken but it was tasty. last, we tried the burrito. although the indian butter chicken burrito was good it contained too much rice and way too little chicken. i felt i was eating a rice burrito. it also needed a bit more flavor but wifey ordered three different sauces and she made her own concoction. overall, great place, great ambience, music was loud but bearable.servicewas great and quick. four thumbs up. (two from wifey)

wow, simple wow.. i never had a pallet for many things, there was a two amazing servers. i told a colorful haired server that i had a simple typical pallet and she told me about these wonderful thia chicken peanut taco and a beef empenada. amazing! the shorter one was on point on the delivery and water. they both were very attentive. i know my friends and i will be back soon. also love the colorful people there. they take away the judging the book by it's cover. bestservicei've had in a while.

not impressed! the ghost chili salsa wasn't the least bit spicy. the asian beef taco was overly salty. the korean burrito was ok...it was suppose to have fried rice in it, but it was more like dry spanish rice. the japadog was the essence of japan, however it needs stronger wasabi flavor and a diff option than the chinese sweet sausage. the "char sui" taco is not char sui and shouldn't be called that, but the flavor was good.servicecould be better...like free ice water...that can't be too much to ask right?

my husband and i ate here on feb 16, we each had a pork belly taco, a korean beef taco, and a cod taco, all were very delicious. theservicehowever was awful!! the tall, slender native american looking girl, was our server, she did not speak or even make eye contact. she never checked to see if we needed anything, and brought the check before we had finished. we wanted to try dessert. the apple dessert was very good also. the server then brought us a separate check, told us to meet her at the counter. my husband stood at the counter waiting while she counted her tips. she never spoke, until she asked if he needed change. we absolutely love pom pom's and we really liked tako chena's food, but theservicewas terrible. we will not go back.

awkward. when we came in, we all ordered water, assuming they served tap water. this was not the case, as she brought out 5 bottled waters. when we told her we meant tap water, she got on her high horse and explained to us how the tap water was unfiltered. her tone was very condescending, which already guaranteed that she wouldn't get tipped. also, since the place was cash only (really?), i was only able to get a beef empanada, even though as ucf knight said in the previous review, the menu clearly said two empanadas for 1.75. when the food came out, we all tried each others food, which completely lacked flavor.

overall, theservicewas icy and pretentious, and the food was forgettable and lacked imagination. i have a feeling this place will not last very long.
