greatplaceto eat gujarati snacks with authentic taste and hygiene. service is quick. if you're planning to visit, you might have to wait for minimum 20-30 mins due to rush during peak hours. recommended items- panki chatni, fadani khichdi, handvo, sukhdi, coconut punch.negative- prices are bit on a higher side. parking is not easily available. but its a must visit outlet if you want to try gujarati snacks.

it's one of the bestplaceto have some unique and delicious gujarati snacks in ahmedabad. its little pricey but the taste of the food makes it value for money and worthy enough.
we had the panki, baked masala khichadi, handvo and chola methi dhokla- kadhi. the panki was extraordinarily good and delicious and so was the baked masala khichadi. baked masala khichadi is one of their specialities.
ambience is nice, staff is quite good and thisplaceis quite popular as it mostly has waiting. when in ahmedabad you shouldn't just miss this place.

have been going to swati since years. favouriteplacefor our grandparents who don't eat out very often. personally don't love gujarati snacks so all my childhood had the pizza there. the basics like sevpuri, panki, samosa chaat have been consistent over the years. the falafel is a must try. it has an indian touch to it. everything is a little overpriced but the quality is upto the mark.

it is extremely expensive with fancy menu and not the food.
i don't know why thisplacewas so crowded.
we went there hoping to have some authentic gujarati snacks but nope they weren't anything other than average.
i was absolutely shocked to see the prices.
we had some chola methi dhokla which was ok, rawa masala dosa it was quite good and some traditional dessert which was the best thing i had there.
but the pricing is so expensive that anything good takes back stage.
food 3.5/5
ambience 3/5
value for money 2/5

whenever i eat out my first preference is aplacethat's known for its non-veg. swati snacks is one big exception to that rule. in the past eight years, i have visited it in almost all my trips to ahmedabad. i have liked almost everything i have tried in the menu. my personal favourites are panki chatni, baked masala khichdi, veg falafel, pizza, and watermelon juice.

be prepared for a wait during weekends and holidays but the service is prompt. a must visit if one is in ahmedabad and wants to try some vegetarian food/snacks.

a goodplaceto grab some yummy authentic dishes! although it was crowded, the service is quick! well behaved staff, efficiently manage the customers. its expensive, so if you're taking your elders...some comments would be expected.

a small snacks outlet where you need to wait for atleast 15-20 mins to get your number. arrangements are there to ensure you can relax while waiting for your turn. once you enter thisplaceand get your food that u will end up saying the wait was worth while. one challenge i faced was parking, they have few people in vallet but not sufficient specially in rush hours.

we tried 2 dishes:

1) baked beans khichdi: nice fusion which has baked curd topping. concept of beans in khichdi was awesome and baked curd ensure it remains juicy through out. awesome dish and highly recommended.

2) methi bajra roti with aloo sabji: another good dish, roti was baked properly and dough was mixed properly to ensure roti was not dry. sabji with this complemented the breads.

awesomeplaceand must visit for locals as well as people visiting this city for a small trip too.

keep serving!!!!

though an unpopular opinion, it's mine and i still feel it. it's the onlyplacemy grandmother eats at, but still i don't wish to review it 5 stars.
i'll be very honest - it's very expensive for the portion size it serves. they ingredients may be good, no doubt, but they're not exotic/gourmet.

plus being a gujarati, i definitely feel that the pricing can be cheaper. it's not that swati has an ambience that i'm paying for, right ? canteen benches and yellow plastic plates.

won't deny that the food is fairly decent. some good items better than others.

swati snacks 3.5/5

swati snack was a strong recommendation from various blog posts suggesting the best places to relish food in ahmedabad. theplacewas quite neat and minimal with its decor. we kick started our lunch with an unusual choice of panki uttapam and the usual dahi batata puri. both of them were excellent. our next choice was the crowd favourite paneer lifafa which was quite good as well. we ended our meal on a satisfying note with gatta nu shak and satpudi roti. also, their cold coffee was simply amazing.

theplacehad a very good crowd. though it was empty when we entered, theplacegot filled up in no time which explains its popularity both amongst the local people as well as the tourists.

greatplaceto be at if you're in ahmedabad. loved its menu, dishes, and the novelty ice-creams for sure. the interiors are simple and classy although sligjt improvement is definitely required in the crockery.

the bestplacefor gorging on gujarati dishes namely paanki, and chola methi na dhokla..
though it is known for gujarati food and chaat, i loved parsi dish " dhanshak" too which was really tempting and that kachumbar of onion in tamarind juice was just irresistible.

chola methi dhokla-
very light and steamed to perfection, served with beautiful dipping sauce.
