great place to eat gujarati snacks with authentic taste and hygiene. service is quick. if you're planning to visit, you might have to wait for minimum 20-30 mins due to rush during peak hours. recommended items-pankichatni, fadani khichdi, handvo, sukhdi, coconut punch.negative- prices are bit on a higher side. parking is not easily available. but its a must visit outlet if you want to try gujarati snacks.

it's one of the best place to have some unique and delicious gujarati snacks in ahmedabad. its little pricey but the taste of the food makes it value for money and worthy enough.
we had the panki, baked masala khichadi, handvo and chola methi dhokla- kadhi. thepankiwas extraordinarily good and delicious and so was the baked masala khichadi. baked masala khichadi is one of their specialities.
ambience is nice, staff is quite good and this place is quite popular as it mostly has waiting. when in ahmedabad you shouldn't just miss this place.

all time favourite restaurant.. mouthwatering dishes with clean flavours. i have tried almost everything from the menu and never been disappointed. my favourite dishes are the dahi batata puri, pankichutney, sev puri, pav bhaji, falafel and bajri khichu.... there is usually a 15 minute wait time but once you get a table, you’ll be done much earlier than you can imagine. sometimes it can get annoying because it feels like the waiters are hovering over your head and just want you to finish and make room for the next table... other than that very quick service and again delicious food.

we'd give it a 3.5! heard a lot about this place. had to give their signature dishes a try:
1. tried theirpankichatni: something new and unique, we were trying it for the first time. the rice pancake was a little bland but went so well with the green chutney and a bite of the chilli served. worth a shot!
2. bhelpuri: it was good. wouldn't call it exceptional.

whenever i eat out my first preference is a place that's known for its non-veg. swati snacks is one big exception to that rule. in the past eight years, i have visited it in almost all my trips to ahmedabad. i have liked almost everything i have tried in the menu. my personal favourites arepankichatni, baked masala khichdi, veg falafel, pizza, and watermelon juice.

be prepared for a wait during weekends and holidays but the service is prompt. a must visit if one is in ahmedabad and wants to try some vegetarian food/snacks.

swati snacks 3.5/5

swati snack was a strong recommendation from various blog posts suggesting the best places to relish food in ahmedabad. the place was quite neat and minimal with its decor. we kick started our lunch with an unusual choice ofpankiuttapam and the usual dahi batata puri. both of them were excellent. our next choice was the crowd favourite paneer lifafa which was quite good as well. we ended our meal on a satisfying note with gatta nu shak and satpudi roti. also, their cold coffee was simply amazing.

the place had a very good crowd. though it was empty when we entered, the place got filled up in no time which explains its popularity both amongst the local people as well as the tourists.

a clean standard place for gujrati snacks. we tried thepankichatni - savoury rice pancakes steamed in banana leaf. and puran poli which was soaked in a sinful lot of ghee - yum!

as one of my non-gujju friend specifically wanted to have gujju food so we thought to go for this one to have different kind of authentic gujarati snacks.

we tried handvo which was crispy enough and thepankichatni which was awesomeness.

i have tried few more options at this place earlier which are the masala khichadi and sevpuri.

highly recommended for gujarati food who wants to try it for the first time/want to have the comfort food.

swati snacks is a must visit place when one wants to have an authentic gujarati food in ahmedabad.
it is located in the heart of the city and have two outlets where they offer the same experience all together
a must have here are dhai sev puri, bajri khichu, bedai roti served with srikhand, chola methi dhokla, methi bajra roti, pankichutni, among others. they also have a variety of other stuff who doesn't want to exprement too much with gujarati food like dosa, pizza and others
to end the meal one has to have their in house fresh ice creams like fresh guava.

a must visit for all the foodie

if you're in ahmedabad and want to taste authentic gujarati food, swati is the place for you. each and every dish they serve is full of traditional flavours, with a touch of fusion sometimes. their service is the fastest i've seen anywhere and the ambience is quite good too. they have a lot of variety in savoury and sweet dishes. some of my favourites would be thepankichutney, baked masala khichdi, falafel and their absolutely mouthwatering ice-creams (coffee orange and lemongrass) !!!

yum yum yum, you know what you have to simply try everything. the best snacks i ever had, loved thepankichutney, the sev puri and mango drink. if you are in ahmedabad during the mango season, its the best season to try mocktails and lot of other flavorful drinks :)
