st. john's restaurant

road trip`. wife and i went on a road trip to chattanooga, tn. googled restaurants in the area and sawst. johns. there are two restaurants named st. john's and they are next to each other. one is called st.johns meeting place and the other st. john's . we ended up going to st. john's as it seemed a little more upscale for our anniversary. service was superb, food was excellent. server described each course in detail which made it more interesting. we give it 5 stars

my all time favorite...period!. i live in atlanta and go to a number of well known restaurants here, but i can say that st. john's ranks as one of the all time best fine dining establishments i've visited. while this may be on the pricier side for the average chattanooga restaurants, it is in line price-point wise for fine dining.
from the well made drinks at the bar (with the fabulous seasoned homemade chips) to the perfectly prepared food and detailed service, everything has always been out of this world! their menu is seasonal and most of their food is from local farmers.
i've been tostjohn's for a number of business dinners as well as celebrations, and i've never walked out with one (not even one little itsy bitsy) bad or even mediocre experience!
