you're not there for the food!
was told by the hotel concierge that this is a great little place to have dinner and livejazzso we decided to wait 1.5 hrs for a table. if you don't have a ticket for the jazz, you won't hear the music in the dining area. hostess was not very pleasant but i guess its her job to make sure folks don't go wandering into the dining area for fun.
food was less than par. we had the gumbo, caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, chicken sandwich, shrimp roumulade and fish dish. the best dish was the bread basket....
caesar salad was skimpy and was missing the dressing, chicken was dry, shrimps did not taste fresh. the fish? i did not try...
so you go to this place forjazzand the bar....not the food!
