had a friend carry on about single origin for a while. since i work nearby i thought i'd give it a go.

i tried the coffee, and i must admit, it is very nice. just the right amount of froth with agreataroma, you really savour the smooth silky taste.

it's a little more pricey than most places but, not by much. i'll definitely be back, i'm a sucker for good coffee.

came here today for brunch, the flat white wasgreathowever the mothership bowl which i ordered wasn't. it was too salty, i tried to eat as much of it as i can because i don't like to waste food. but it got to every bite was like with grinded salt, i couldn't finish even half of it. i would come back for the coffee though.

terrible service. single origin was once agreatcafe, it has, however, taken a dive. after experiencing the same disappointing service for the third time i won't be going back.

single origin roasters has retained one of the top spots in the sydney coffee scene for many years, and it is no surprise why. with a constantly changing line up of single origin coffee, passionate staff, and a well establish atmosphere, you are always likely to get agreatcup of coffee here. it is worth knowing that they only have single shots of espresso in their long blacks as a means of providing a more filter like flavour profile, but you can still ask for a strong long black if you are missing the thick crema.

single origin is agreatplace to visit, if you’re only after their coffee, they also have a ‘sideshow’ shop right next door to the cafe, where you can grab your coffee to go. if you plan to visit make sure you read up on the operating hours as they are fairly limited and unfortunately they are closed on weekends , so make sure you check the details below before organizing your next lunch date!

as for filter coffee, you can often get something quite enjoyable, and more times than not, it is worth asking for the staff to choose for you (especially if sean mcmanus is working the day you go).

certainly worth checking out when you have time.

with all thegreatbrunch dishes out there now it’s been so long since i had just avo on toast, so i thought it was about time! this wasn’t just your standard avo on toast though - what an amazing combination of colours, textures and flavours!

there is no skim milk available here in this cafe though, so i had to swap my usual skim latte for a soy latte, which unfortunately i wasn’t a huge fan of!

the cafe itself has agreatfitout, welcoming vibe, attentive and friendly service and overall a good spot for a quick breakfast before starting work for the day!

pictured is the avo toast (with beetroot hummus, pickled fennel, rosella labne, olive and wattleseed crumb, charred orange) & soy latte

single o is agreatcafe with delicious food and friendly staff.
on my visit i had a craving for something soft for brunch as well as crispy bacon - so i went with the avo toast and added a side of bacon. my favourite part of the avo toast was the rosella labne - it was so flavoursome. the crispy bacon was also really good - cooked perfectly. i normally think ‘sides’ are a bit overpriced for what you get, but the amount of bacon i received was generous.

‘gone bush’ and the ‘croc-ettes’ sound really appealing too. i love seeing cafes step away from the norm with some of their dishes and if i had more time in sydney over the weekend i would of loved to of tried these meals.

rich, syrupy and very creamy coffee. i could have handled it stronger and heavier but this was near-perfect. i had it at a market and not only did the staff move the long line very quickly, they were offering the coffee in ceramic mugs that you could walk away with and then return (either this resulted in lots of damage to the mugs or they were deliberately using chipped mugs that they wouldn’t use in the shops).greatservice that justifies the high prices.

the coffee here is absolutely excellent. the ambience and the presentation were definitely pristine. i’ll be completely honest that i wasn’t entirely thrilled by my breakfast selection. i found the leberkäse a bit salty and the flavours to be a bit strange, though i did like the potato salad that came with it. but it gets the stars for an innovative menu. this place isgreatfor an interesting breakfast selection. but if you’re looking for something classic, i’d say just make your own here.

this place isgreatfor anyone who's after agreatcup of coffee - however you take your brew, good food for appetites of all sizes, and a liking for relaxed service with friendly staff who are always up for conversation about anything and everything. the decor is not dissimilar to the vibe, with parachuting soldiers on the ceiling and the hand-written notes on all the branding, there's a story and humour injected everywhere, right from the menu's glossary to the single o dogbowl...
recommendations: any coffee, they have plenty of options! and the food is simple but simple is delicious, try the mothership for a full, healthy meal that will keep you going all day!check out full review at kerabeareats.com

hidden in a small street in sydney sits this small and unique cafe. as cafe adventurers, we decided to give it a try. just after one sip of coffee, we knew we've come to the right place. our latte tasted so smooth and nice! ordered some croissants with avocado, bacon, mushrooms and pouched eggs on the side, from their taste to presentation you can definitely tell lots of efforts were put in . we love the croissant so much as well because of its rich buttery taste. overallgreatexperience, would definitely come back! highly recommend to all you foodies~

this was the very first coffee i had in sydney and such agreatkick to stroll tbe city.

single origin roasters - as one of the best coffee roaster and cafés in sydney that have gained them the ‘legendary’ status by locals, single origin roasters combines a beautiful coffee-art with a layered taste of coffee. the owners, dion and emma cohen, founded the roasters in 2003 and have expanded the business with a warehouse in alexandria and a café in surry hills. either you enjoy their coffee to go, accompanied with a delicate nutella and banana sandwich, or comfortably take a sip on the wooden seat and enjoy their bacon and egg roll while watching people pass by on the street side: your choice
