a brilliant little walk up bar and also restaurant. i unfortunately only came through here for a coffee. which was absolutely delish and nice and strong. love the setup and the baristas definitely knew what they were doing whilst also with afriendlysmile, impressive for a monday.

the food here is absolutely exceptional. it is a must go to place if you are from sydney or out of the cbd area. the service staff was reallyfriendlyand the food shown in the picture (croc-ette, and the sirloin beef) was beautifully presented and nicely done.

with all the great brunch dishes out there now it’s been so long since i had just avo on toast, so i thought it was about time! this wasn’t just your standard avo on toast though - what an amazing combination of colours, textures and flavours!

there is no skim milk available here in this cafe though, so i had to swap my usual skim latte for a soy latte, which unfortunately i wasn’t a huge fan of!

the cafe itself has a great fitout, welcoming vibe, attentive andfriendlyservice and overall a good spot for a quick breakfast before starting work for the day!

pictured is the avo toast (with beetroot hummus, pickled fennel, rosella labne, olive and wattleseed crumb, charred orange) & soy latte

single o is a great cafe with delicious food andfriendlystaff.
on my visit i had a craving for something soft for brunch as well as crispy bacon - so i went with the avo toast and added a side of bacon. my favourite part of the avo toast was the rosella labne - it was so flavoursome. the crispy bacon was also really good - cooked perfectly. i normally think ‘sides’ are a bit overpriced for what you get, but the amount of bacon i received was generous.

‘gone bush’ and the ‘croc-ettes’ sound really appealing too. i love seeing cafes step away from the norm with some of their dishes and if i had more time in sydney over the weekend i would of loved to of tried these meals.

came here for brunch on a saturday and it was very busy! luckily we didn't have to wait too long before getting a table. i had the beef ribs which melted in the mouth, very tasty! hubby had the beef brisket which he thought was a bit dry.friendlyservice!

this place is great for anyone who's after a great cup of coffee - however you take your brew, good food for appetites of all sizes, and a liking for relaxed service withfriendlystaff who are always up for conversation about anything and everything. the decor is not dissimilar to the vibe, with parachuting soldiers on the ceiling and the hand-written notes on all the branding, there's a story and humour injected everywhere, right from the menu's glossary to the single o dogbowl...
recommendations: any coffee, they have plenty of options! and the food is simple but simple is delicious, try the mothership for a full, healthy meal that will keep you going all day!check out full review at kerabeareats.com

new favorite place. friend and i went and enjoyed the avo toast, banana bread, and the mothership bowl. all insanely good. my friend said it was the best avo toast she's had in sydney. great atmosphere andfriendlyservice made for an overall 5 star experience.

banana bread with espresso butter is honestly amazing - the butter has a subtle coffee taste that melts in your mouth and compliments the banana bread beautifully! however, i felt as if the banana bread got quite sickening after eating 3/4 of it - to be honest i havent touched any banana bread since my visit to single o (it was just a bit too sweet for my liking). despite this, my experience here was very pleasant! the staff are allfriendlyand accomodating 😊

it was drizzling on my first visit to single o surry hills cafe. albeit the inconvenient weather, i left with a good impression.
i was seated at the front table and ordered myself a cup of flat white and mothership bowl. the coffee was on point, and the dish i had tasted excellent. the mixture blends perfectly and tasted so good i couldn't waste any bit of it. the staffs were alsofriendlyn welcoming. i love how the cafe is located on a quiet corner of the street, allowing me to enjoy the meal with serene sounds of water droplets :)
will be back for more!

nice place. we went there on saturday and didn't wait to get a table. staff arefriendlyand nice. we ordered mothership bowl and crispy salmon. mothership bowl is a very good choice for people wanna keeping fit as it's quite healthy and with good favour as well. my husband said salmon is tasty but if more sides will be better.

i love that single origin is a 2 minute walk from my place although it can be dangerous as i can never control my coffee intake when good coffee is nearby. they're always busy for a reason but this never stops me from stopping by.friendlystaff and amazing coffee. breakfast is good, simple menu which makes it easy to decide what to have.

i get my morning coffee here everyday it is so good! staff arefriendlyand coffee is the best around. i have only had food here a few times as i do not work in the area but it was also very good. highly recommended.

my favourite coffee stop in surry hills. nice ambiance andfriendlyservice. 
their toasties are really good for on the run brekky, although i haven't tried everything on their menu. highly recommend their flat white.
