silantro fil-mex

i've been here 3 times and it's still one of the best go-to places for a fil-mex fix. everything's super savory and their nachos and paella will leave you wanting for more. if only my stomach is a bottomless pit, i'd order 3 of each. hay, sarap! 😋

by the way, line is pretty long all the time but it's totallyworthit.

one of the best restaurants that i have ever tried!!! promise! the line for waiting in order to be accommodated inside was quite long but, it’sworththe wait! take note, i really hate cilantro in general because of the taste and smell but this restaurant was an exception! it seems like the food do not contain cilantro because you cannot really taste it. but, it really does. :p

we ordered nachos, calliente wings,burrito, and steak.

the nachos was really good!! one of my favorites along with the burrito. it seems like that the top cheese was being slight baked because it’s already dry and with netted with pattern. it’s like you’re pouring cheese or ketchup in your food in sideways or whatever pattern you want and once you baked it, the pattern stays there and the sauce is already dried up but, you can still taste it. the nachos contained tomatoes, beef and cilantro. ohh, the beef was very tender. it’s good to dip it with the cilantro sauce.

burrito- it tastes sooo good!! i love it! it contained mexican rice, beef, tomatoes, and cilantro. it’s better if you’re going to dip it with the cilantro sauce also. this is the best burrito that i have ever tasted. it’s better than chilli’s and army navy because their burrito is so “malasa.” i do not know but their burrito is not too messy to eat it.

calliente chicken wings- i do not find this food so special. it’s just a so-so and typical chicken buffalo wing. maybe one good thing about it is that the spice tolerance of their sauce is just an average so if you’re not a spicy love, you may want to try it. i didn’t like their sauce that much because it’s like a normal hot sauce and ketchup added by a cilantro.

steak. it’s quite difficult to slice it but when you taste it, it’s not so hard to chew it. yes, it’s still tender but not so much tender.

i love this place. their food is so good especially the nachos, burger, and burrito. this place is always full so the waiting line will be long but it's totallyworthit!

i went here with my family last saturday. and as expected, long line awaits. but it wasworthit! menu prices are wallet-friendly. we ordered a lot and spent less than what we expect. i really love their wings and nachos.

good food and so busog at very affordable price. for two people, we ordered beef nachos (bestseller) and silantro quesadilla. the nachos is very crunchy and tasty. they refill the sauces quickly. for the quesadilla, the cheese is just so cheesy :))

their service is fast, and the place is jam packed butworththe wait. #mustvisit

favorite place in kapitolyo! i would never get tired of ordering their famous beef nachos overloaded with lots of freakin' cheese! this place is so packed during weekends but people are very patient to wait in line even if it takes them an hour. i know coz i am one of those people who are willing to wait because i know it'll beworthit! pretty much everything in their menu is a must try!

so happy they have several branch already! proof how good they are in what they are doing! 😋🍴

it was our first time in silantro located at up town center and it's superb! the food are so delicious andworththe price. we ordered nachos, paella chicken wings and steak. we went there on a saturday around 4pm and still jam-packed! we are number 10 in waiting list but we don't mind. 😀 i just hope they will open a branch in trinoma. 🙏

silantro is my go to place for mexican food trip. calliente wings is my top pick followed by their beef nachos with their awesome sauces!!! ❤️

food is really great and alsoworthit for the price. only downside on this branch is that it has limited seating and the tables and chairs are kinda old.

my family and i were looking for a resto that we haven’t tried before and we saw the bright signage of silantro in uptc and decided to eat there.

when we got there, there’s a long queue and the customers will need to write their names on the list and after a few minutes the receptionist will call each to get the orders.

it wasworththe long wait.

lucho tacos (complete) - soft tacos and savory meat, good for two persons
chicken burrito - loaded and flavorful, good for two persons
beef nachos - the best! the nachos used are high quality, it doesn’t taste like the normal nachos you buy in cinemas or food stalls. the cheese doesn’t taste like the normal cheese you use at your home. overloaded with tomatoes and beef.
caliente wings - not too spicy and not too sweet.
paella fajita - the rice was a bit sticky.
lamb chops - tender and savory. mashed potato was perfect.

the only con is the drinking water, i assume that it’s a tap water, this is why i’m giving them a 4. would love to give them a 4.5 pero 4 lang agad. haha.

how do you get a non-veggie eating boyfriend to try some delicious and healthy food? feed him mexican dishes. omg. i've never seen my bf be so willing and giddy to eat stuff filled with lettuce and tomatoes ever, yet silantro has convinced him on a level that i cannot even reach! haha! while their nachos are quite good, and their burritos and seafood fajita is amazing, for me, it's the soft tacos that are the stars of the show. just...wow. the flavors, the textures, the fresh and spicy with the soft and crunchy... it's like a song turned into a delicious meal. totallyworththe wait in line (p.s. come early) so get your ass over to the nearest silantro with your veggie-hating friend and get ready to see the stars in their eyes! 🤩

their food is one of the things that areworthwaiting for. dining with a friend, waiting didn't seem like a waste of time too! we just had their nachos and grilled mahi-mahi, both of which were appetizing. the prices are reasonable. no wonder, the queue was like that during lunch.

i had a wonderful lunch date with my girl here, the place is along the food trip street of kapitolyo.

parking is a bit difficult as there are only 2 slots in front of the restaurant luckily there are parking boys willing to help you in the area.

so to the food, we had the soft shelled tacos(completo and medio) and beef nachos both were very filling choices. all this at a sub-500 pesos bill was amazing! the quality of the food was wellworththe price and the taste especially with their signature sauces were over the top!

parking is a big letdown. food is great andworthevery peso. can't eat and talk properly because of staff letting us know that our vehicle might get towed. should have a decent parking area for the number of people who goes here.

big serving, everything tastes good, affordable price, you'll want to go back for more and soworthit!
