sharky's fish & chips mandurah

had the tasting platter for 2, which tbh is quite pricey when we ordered but we were surprised because the portion was large. squid rings were well seasoned, crispy, arancini very well cooked and yummy, prawns were tasty too. can definitely taste the ginger, we'd definitely come back again nexttimewe visit mandurah.

been to sharky's about three times now. dad wanted to go mandurah so we took him and sist to sharky's because we know they do good food. ordered usual stuffs: battered fish & chips, lemon pepper calamari and chilli mussels nom nom nom. it's the secondtimei felt thirsty after eating at sharky's. i wonder if they use some sort of msg to make their food yummy? they also have many types of cheesecakes on display and they looked good! i wanted to try but already too full, maybe next time. see you next time.

addicted to sharkys!. we visit mandurah regularly and have finally found the best place to eat in mandurah, it is consistently excellent and meals are not only delicious but generous serves too. chef and staff are friendly and efficient, meals come out super quick, and they offer more than just fish & chips.
our favourites are:
calamari - beautifully dusted and crunchy, good salad
grilled snapper with perfectly cooked veges, delicious mash and lemon butter
prawn & scallop penne - divine!!!!!
our kids love the spag bol or the "kids bangers and mash" - so refreshing to have decent kids meals available instead of most places that serve nuggets.
the view is beautiful and it's a relaxing experience to watch the sunset and boats go by. good wine & cocktails. highly recommended.

sharky's is situated in the dolphin quay complex overlooking the mandurah marina. it's a beautiful spot, light and flies stream in from the side and there are water views from most of the impressively large room. you order at the counter and the staff seem to have an uncanny knack of finding you. i visited at peak time, sunday at noon and the room was heaving with people, i was warned that the food would take thirty minutes. it's not particularly cheap ($40 for my seafood platter, with snapper), the chip (not included with the platter) were slightly limp and unseasoned and the squid rubbery. the battered fish is very well done and pleasingly they have no hesitation in proclaiming they use shark (the chip shop norm being don't ask don't tell), they even offer a platter of shark ($42 for two people). the deep woods chardonnay retails for about $a20 (on the sharky's list it's a very reasonable $30) making it very compelling value - it's wild fermented and has spenttimeon lees in two and three year old french oak barrels. it has complexity and interest without being overblown and overinflated. grilled peach and citrus pith, flint and match. bright with just enough creaminess and buttermilk to soften the structure without compromising the elliptical shape and pace.    http://feeds.feedburner.com/winosapien click here for the original context

favourite fish and chips in mandurah. i bring my great- grandfather here (he's 101!) to enjoy their lunchtimefish and chips. he tells me everytimethat it is his favourite in all of mandurah! menu is not that big but everything on it tastes amazing. my favourite is probably the salt and pepper calamari, which is a massive serving. 8/10

good food. good place to eat. a lot of variety, meals are a good size too. normally served within a reasonabletimeframe.
beware the imported seafood; ask and they will advise.
hopefully enough people do ask, reject and educate them that vietnam prawns are not ok.

very tasty. we only got fish and chips from here as we were a little broke after shopping and it was all we could afford!! but a good meal for a good price. the food was well drained and really tasty and the fish was lovely and soft. i would have liked my chips a bit crunchier, but i will definitely go back nexttimei am in mandurah!!

hmmm. went there saturday evening with friends, queued 20 mins to find that the kitchen had run out of the tasting plate. was offered the next best - ended up with a soggy fisherman's basket. overpriced and greasy. lots of waitstaff wandering about trying to offload orders, mainly getting it wrong. one bloke at our table waited 45mins for his order.
disappointed - may give it a go at some latertimebut not overly hopeful.

best eating place in mandurah. sharkys outdoes the other eating places in mandurah, prices are great, wonderful menu variety, food is fresh, top of the range, meals are large and well presented, staff are friendly, efficient and go out of their way to please. try it, you won't go back to the others.. :-)

best place to eat in mandurah. sharky's is a great place to eat at anytimeof the day. cakes are always fresh. seafood, the freshest and best in mandurah, cooked just right and so tasty. comfortable inside. outdoor heaters that really do warm you up, just a great place overall to eat, meet up, enjoy and relax.......outstanding!

have come here a couple of times and have like it but won't be coming back!! had a thai beef salad with a spider in it. it was barely touched and we returned it. chef said in an abrupt manner, " there is a long waitingtimeand you will just have to wait!" not impressed and found it very rude and unwelcoming.

great value. twelve of us gathered for an early evening meal and ordered the specials of the day. we had a wondereful night (except for one order being misplaced).
everyone without exception, enjoyed the quality and amount of food we each received. the staff were the freindliest i have experienced for a longtimeand
treated us more like family rather than paying guests. service was prompt, well priced and excellent value for money. would visit again.

went to sharky's tonight with friends, 3 of the 4 meals were excellent the 4th meal (chilli mussels) no so good, our friend returned them and spoke with the chef and manager who were only to wiling to refund or replace the meal, our friend opted to have the meal replaced which was done and secondtimearound we're much more enjoyable. staff were excellent and very attentive. we would eat at sharky's at least once a fortnight, we have always had excellent food at a reasonable price, tonight's experience and how our concerns were dealt with, will ensure that we continue to be regulars. well done and thankyou again.

sharkey's mandurah marina. sharkey's at the mandurah marina is the family's favourite place to relax and enjoy coffee and cake, great lunches and special occasions. everytimewe visit staff are always friendly, polite and efficient. the food is of ample portion sizes, sometimes you can't finish due to the size of the meals.
sitting out on the boardwalk with fish and chips from sharkey's is the perfect relaxing way to have a meal.
