sharky's fish & chips mandurah

best fish & chips in mandurah. been to a few inmandurahand have found sharkyys wins hands down. always have the snapper and can vouch for the quality. beer on tap. what else do you need. fantastic.

been to sharky's about three times now. dad wanted to gomandurahso we took him and sist to sharky's because we know they do good food. ordered usual stuffs: battered fish & chips, lemon pepper calamari and chilli mussels nom nom nom. it's the second time i felt thirsty after eating at sharky's. i wonder if they use some sort of msg to make their food yummy? they also have many types of cheesecakes on display and they looked good! i wanted to try but already too full, maybe next time. see you next time.

visited thismandurahhot spot with a craving for fish and chips. reasonably priced, friendly service and the fish was really tasty and well cooked. the chips were a let down though, about as tasty as home brand frozen chips.

addicted to sharkys!. we visitmandurahregularly and have finally found the best place to eat in mandurah, it is consistently excellent and meals are not only delicious but generous serves too. chef and staff are friendly and efficient, meals come out super quick, and they offer more than just fish & chips.
our favourites are:
calamari - beautifully dusted and crunchy, good salad
grilled snapper with perfectly cooked veges, delicious mash and lemon butter
prawn & scallop penne - divine!!!!!
our kids love the spag bol or the "kids bangers and mash" - so refreshing to have decent kids meals available instead of most places that serve nuggets.
the view is beautiful and it's a relaxing experience to watch the sunset and boats go by. good wine & cocktails. highly recommended.

sharky's is situated in the dolphin quay complex overlooking themandurahmarina. it's a beautiful spot, light and flies stream in from the side and there are water views from most of the impressively large room. you order at the counter and the staff seem to have an uncanny knack of finding you. i visited at peak time, sunday at noon and the room was heaving with people, i was warned that the food would take thirty minutes. it's not particularly cheap ($40 for my seafood platter, with snapper), the chip (not included with the platter) were slightly limp and unseasoned and the squid rubbery. the battered fish is very well done and pleasingly they have no hesitation in proclaiming they use shark (the chip shop norm being don't ask don't tell), they even offer a platter of shark ($42 for two people). the deep woods chardonnay retails for about $a20 (on the sharky's list it's a very reasonable $30) making it very compelling value - it's wild fermented and has spent time on lees in two and three year old french oak barrels. it has complexity and interest without being overblown and overinflated. grilled peach and citrus pith, flint and match. bright with just enough creaminess and buttermilk to soften the structure without compromising the elliptical shape and pace.    http://feeds.feedburner.com/winosapien click here for the original context

lunch. went to sharky's again last sunday for lunch. the place was packed and there was a big queue to order but the beers arrived promptly and the fish and chips followed soon afterwards. as always, fresh, crisp and hot. love going here, service staff are pleasant and the chef keeps the food service pumping. well done guys.......

best seafood. have lived inmandurahsince 2006 and used to, back then go to ninos (as did most people, but their food and service has dropped so badly that the place is now empty, so started going to sharky's for lunch. great freshly cooked food and service with a smile, how rare these days. the daily special with a wine or beer included is great value at $15.90 when you see the size of the serves. food is served quickly and it's hot. great wine list as well with regular wine specials. highly recommended

panoramic.... the wife and i lunched at sharkys again on the 1/11/12...the food the views the service was just simply awesome...we have dined at some of the best locations inmandurahbut always seem to find our way back here :)

the place to take friends. when family and friends visit from out ofmandurahand even from the eastern states we make sure we take them to sharkies. they are blown away about the location on the marina, you can rely on the food to be very good with both fish and chips as well as a good range of other resturant foods.this is all at a very affordable price. the service is good even when it gets very busy. a great way to kick back and enjoy a drink , enjoy a meal and take in the views.

sharkey'smandurahmarina. sharkey's at themandurahmarina is the family's favourite place to relax and enjoy coffee and cake, great lunches and special occasions. every time we visit staff are always friendly, polite and efficient. the food is of ample portion sizes, sometimes you can't finish due to the size of the meals.
sitting out on the boardwalk with fish and chips from sharkey's is the perfect relaxing way to have a meal.
