sharky's fish & chips mandurah

absolute rubbish fish and chip, and it’s not a hard dish to cook, over an hour and a half wait for a basicmealfor four hungry kids, took a terrible fish back to try and get the last kids meal, all dishes cold, find somewhere else’s there’s plenty

went to have fish and chips the other night. we ordered the tranditional fish and chips, plus one  extra fish. all grilled. to share between us.  themealis large for one person.

the fish was fresh and cooked well.
the service was excellent, the staff went about to clean up tables quickly, so the seaguls wouldn't attack the leftover food.

would definately go back!

had amealthere last night with my social club and partner, fantasticmeal, i had chicken parmigiana  and my partner had reef and beef , others in our group had fish and chips, calarmari , all the meals were huge , well cooked and presented , staff were very friendly and service was spot on , will be recommending to all my family and friends and my partner and i will be returning to sample the fish and chips very soon , thank you

will never go to this place again. the staff were very rude and the food was expensive and average in quality. the man behind the bar acted as if he was doing me a favour by serving me - he kept me waiting at the bar while my food went cold (and there were only a handful of people there - hardly a full house!). when he did finally serve me he was obnoxious and tried to tell me firstly that my card didn't have paypal when it did, and then when i asked him about the sparkling wine they had he asked me to read the menu.

when the sparkling wine arrived, the glass had lipstick on it and i had to take it back to the bar (waited for a while of course while mr bartender did nothing then decided to attend to me).

we spent well over 100 dollars for what is essentially fish and chips and when my pregnant wife asked for some tomato sauce, she was pointed in the direction towards the fridge (after spending over 100 you are still required to spend for a bit of sauce...something you get free with a burger at mcdonalds).

we sat outside and as it was sunny we raised the umbrellas. these were left up for a while but then the same bartender came and lowered them stating that the wind had picked up (it didn't - it actually reduced) - so rather than allow up to finish ourmealwe sat in the sun in our faces. he was also very rude when lowering the umbrellas.

rude rude rude is how i would describe this place. you get more smiles at mcdonalds.

if you are seeking average overpriced food with rude staff then this place is for you.

sunday lunch. came here as a party of 3. serving sizes are huge and therefore bring value to the $$ you pay. i enjoyed the chilli mussels without the chilli and the rest of the table loved the grilled fish and shark. the coffee was nice and well made. overall good service for a pier restaurant. please note that it is not table service.
i would come here again and recommend it for a lovelymealon the water.

very tasty. we only got fish and chips from here as we were a little broke after shopping and it was all we could afford!! but a goodmealfor a good price. the food was well drained and really tasty and the fish was lovely and soft. i would have liked my chips a bit crunchier, but i will definitely go back next time i am in mandurah!!

great food, fantastic staff.. being sunday of the long weekend, i was looking forward to amealby the esturary. my family were having coffee and cake, absolute treat for $6.95, and the coffee in a mug, as requested.
the cake looked to die for, imagine a layered sponge with chocolate custard, topped with vanilla type cheesecake. then topped with portions of a vanilla and chocolate eclair, positioned ontop with ganache....wow

i felt like fish n chips, but the calamari with lemon salt n pepper twist looked good too.
the initial response was no special orders, being long weekend, however, dave the chef, heard, and said he would be happy to do that for me.
well, i was delighted, and cassidy took my order.
there was a generous piece of fish, amazing calamari, choice of three sauces and a salad with cucumber,cherry tomatoes and various lettuce leaves.
i was extremely impressed, and our waitress corina was very friendly,too.

great value. twelve of us gathered for an early eveningmealand ordered the specials of the day. we had a wondereful night (except for one order being misplaced).
everyone without exception, enjoyed the quality and amount of food we each received. the staff were the freindliest i have experienced for a long time and
treated us more like family rather than paying guests. service was prompt, well priced and excellent value for money. would visit again.

went to sharky's tonight with friends, 3 of the 4 meals were excellent the 4thmeal(chilli mussels) no so good, our friend returned them and spoke with the chef and manager who were only to wiling to refund or replace the meal, our friend opted to have themealreplaced which was done and second time around we're much more enjoyable. staff were excellent and very attentive. we would eat at sharky's at least once a fortnight, we have always had excellent food at a reasonable price, tonight's experience and how our concerns were dealt with, will ensure that we continue to be regulars. well done and thankyou again.

the place to take friends. when family and friends visit from out of mandurah and even from the eastern states we make sure we take them to sharkies. they are blown away about the location on the marina, you can rely on the food to be very good with both fish and chips as well as a good range of other resturant foods.this is all at a very affordable price. the service is good even when it gets very busy. a great way to kick back and enjoy a drink , enjoy amealand take in the views.
