sharky's fish & chips mandurah

terrible. went there last sat night, orderedfishand chips and squid rings, it was all oily and stale looking, wouldnt go back.

absolute rubbishfishand chip, and it’s not a hard dish to cook, over an hour and a half wait for a basic meal for four hungry kids, took a terriblefishback to try and get the last kids meal, all dishes cold, find somewhere else’s there’s plenty

totally love this place even take a leisurely 95km drive to enjoy therefishn chips & the pumpkins salad. staff are brilliant friendly and eager to assist

this was fine but on the more expensive side for food that was just fine. to be fair the more expensive dishes could generally be split between two. however, as we were just afterfishand chips, i would have recommended simply going to a more casualfishand chips place for the same quality of food. perhaps the ambiance would be a bit less, but ambiance isn't really the standout of this place, apart from overlooking the water (but certainly not where you'd take a fancy date etc.)

i was particularly disappointed by the vego options, got a greek salad which was fine but not amazing and the onion rings which were admittedly tasty. there were also pizzas which were vegetarian, but i was in afishand chips (sans fish) kind of mood and for the price, could get pizzas in a more authentic restaurant (i did not try them though, perhaps it would've been the best/most authentic pizza i had... but didn't seem like it would be). for comparison, foreshorefishand chips/other more casual places have potato fritters, corn things, spring rolls etc.

not perfect but impressed nonetheless, and i would have no hesitations to return.

the batter on thefishwas crispy but somewhat bland. the prawns could have used a touch more seasoning, and the coleslaw was heavily drenched in sauce.

now onto the positives and there are lots. the price seem high at first but the portions are large. a single plate of fish, chips, and salad can feed two people quite comfortably at least for a light or moderate meal. both thefishand prawns tasted fresh. the chips very well cooked and well seasoned.

lastly the service was prompt and friendly. the restaurant itself is very spacious with a nice view of the harbor. certainly worth a casual visit while in mandurah.

bestfish& chips in mandurah. been to a few in mandurah and have found sharkyys wins hands down. always have the snapper and can vouch for the quality. beer on tap. what else do you need. fantastic.

a beautiful location to dine. good service and generous portions. the chips were tasty and crisp and the batter was very good. however, the quality of thefishwas quite average considering the prices.

thefishn chips was fabulous.... west sharky is better than cod.
a bit disappointed with the spaghetti marinara... it was so blank... maybe the chef forgot to seasoning the plate. the sauce was too sour with the spaghetti.....

went to havefishand chips the other night. we ordered the tranditionalfishand chips, plus one  extra fish. all grilled. to share between us.  the meal is large for one person.

thefishwas fresh and cooked well.
the service was excellent, the staff went about to clean up tables quickly, so the seaguls wouldn't attack the leftover food.

would definately go back!

slightly dissapointed. the food quality was subpar for the price. we ordered the special seafood for 2 for $50. thefishand chips and the calamari were disappointing. they were soggy and weren't crispy. the rest of the food was just okay. the portion was pretty generous for $50, but the food quality wasn't there.

massive serves, better than your averagefishn chips. great batter on the fish. overall great value - and yes they'll give you a takeaway container if you can't finish it all,

the service was worse than terrible! staff and management are arrogant and rude!

the food is your average run of the millfishand chip, only it costs twice as much as any otherfishand chip shop. would never go back. the view is all this place has going for it. but i'd eat at one of the other adjacent places instead. same view, much better food and service.

great value for moneyfishwas lovely and fresh and not dripping in oil. we ordered five packs and was enough to feed a family of 15, lovely big servings

had a meal there last night with my social club and partner, fantastic meal , i had chicken parmigiana  and my partner had reef and beef , others in our group hadfishand chips, calarmari , all the meals were huge , well cooked and presented , staff were very friendly and service was spot on , will be recommending to all my family and friends and my partner and i will be returning to sample thefishand chips very soon , thank you

been to sharky's about three times now. dad wanted to go mandurah so we took him and sist to sharky's because we know they do good food. ordered usual stuffs: batteredfish& chips, lemon pepper calamari and chilli mussels nom nom nom. it's the second time i felt thirsty after eating at sharky's. i wonder if they use some sort of msg to make their food yummy? they also have many types of cheesecakes on display and they looked good! i wanted to try but already too full, maybe next time. see you next time.
