great place. nice place, good service and the food and coffee is up to scratch. would definitely go back for more. the kaiserfleisch is a great "alternative" to bacon and glad to see it on the menu instead of your regular bacon! french toast with piping hot butterscotch was a hit. coffee wasn't bad either. its a little mellow, but that's just personal preference. it was smooth and well made nonetheless.

i love the bagels, especially the kransky bagel (can't really go wrong with kransky). this place offers thicker cut of bacon which tastes awesome.

...this cafe is just as cute! a cosy little nook that is filled with love for beautiful food and drinks touching up the menu of the day. et voilà supreme coffee from nz … and… harroooo bonsoy! look at the badass laguiole cutlery they supply for my brunch! i’m going to cast my vote : best bagels in brisbane, ever!!!! their fresh chicken and mayo sandwich really hits the spot!

favorite. this is our sunday favorite (or monday, thursday...any day really). the coffee here is sublime. the food is excellent and the staff always friendly and accommodating. we love the humble and well thought out use of the space. one of the greatest perks of scout is that they are open until four, so you never feel rushed and you can head down for a relaxing bagel and coffee after a big night. we usually get the breakfast bagel on weekends or the muesli on weekdays (always filling and delicious). if you're pondering a visit to scout don't even think about it, just do it. you'll be in for a treat.

absolutely love scout. always satisfies any coffee or breaky craving ! the bagels are incredible - i recommend working your way through all of them. i think it's one of the best coffee places in brisbane

tasty times. what a happy, healthy, cool, tasty place ... and in brisbane?! great authentic friendly staff and amazing choices on the small & stimulating (yet perfectly suited to my tastes) menu. gluten free bagels (yay!) and the changing salads and sweets are delicious plus. the cacao drink is amazing - i want it every day of winter please. great work guys!

wow! i have not been back here over four years so dropped in for a brekkie last sunday morning.
it was not yet busy around 07:00am.
ordered a flat white and just a slice of fruit toast with jam and butter.
took a seat inside and enjoyed the characteristic lay out.
food and beverage came very quick. flat white with supreme brew matched my palate. fruit toast was not bad and i loved the jam, which was very rich. if the texture of the toast could be softer, a full mark should be deserved.

the coffee was so perfect, that i had to have 2. the service was excellent.
i also had the best bagel of my life today here. simply delicious.

been meaning to come here for months and i'm so glad i did! the decor is fun and casual with staff attentive, friendly and efficient.

i chose an almond flat white and wasn't a massive fan of the beans they used so coffee was the only downside for me. to eat, i had the scout's honour vege breakfast. two pieces of sourdough, two eggs, avocado, haloumi, mushrooms, tomato and potato bake. delicious. everything was well cooked and packed full of flavour. slightly too big for me to finish which pained me as it was all so delicious! i probably could have had a bit more seasoning but i do like that they don't go ott meaning it's suitable to everyone's tastes and you can add more if you wish.

the haloumi was delicious but the potato bake - yuuuum! so good. food was excellent, i'd love to come back and try more items.

i enjoyed a supreme roasters latte here.  very well made; it was smooth without being overly milky.

the smoked salmon bagel was nicely presented, the bagel fresh and the jalapeno "schmear" providing the right amount of zing, without overpowering the salmon.

service was friendly and fast but could do more to up-sell additional coffees to tables.

my friend and i were on a hunt for french toast. the menu on zomato promised a snickers (caramel and er pb) french toast but when we came to the cafe it was raspberry and peanut butter. the dish comes with bacon and we both asked to get it without. the waiter kindly asked if we wanted ice cream instead. so nice! and actually exactly what we were looking for! i also had a salted caramel shake. the french toast was great and the toppings were amazing. loved the candy on there too.

awesome brunch place - no fuss fitouts. rough around the edges but i think that's the charm. loved their coffee and the breakfast bagels were nice too. everything just tasted fresh.

i was up from melbourne for a few days with a friend and thought we would check this place out given the ratings. it took us a good 20 min walk from where we were staying but well worth it. the food was great and definitely comparable to melbourne's hip and upscale cafe culture, although i think that they nearly forgot our food 🤔 given the amount of restaurateurs. do yourself a favour and check this cafe out for it's phenomenal bagels and great coffee
