favorite go to brunch spot for a sunday in brisbane! i always get the smashed avo with feta and it's alwayyyys so damn good! also the saigon coffee is so delicious, perfect for those warmer mornings. such a cool little vibe happening in there and the staff are always so lovely.

on my search for good iced coffee i found myself "scouting" out this place! (like what i did there? 😉) i sometimes pass this place on my runs and it's always filled with people, always a sign of a good cafe. anyway it proved to be a great little joint! i may have walked there today but there is ample street parking. the staff were just lovely and willing to accomodate and not judge my crazy appetite this morning. as they started to share with me the morning special of a veggie bagel, i politely stopped her and said "i could actually go some bacon". this was before i had opened the menu to find such a wide range of breakfast treats! in the end i started with an iced latte (very small, i would have liked an option for a larger serve), the amazing blueberry bagels topped with a blackberry cream cheese (just the sweet hit i needed this morning) and of course my side of bacon. bacon, need i say more! it was the highlight of my morning as i nibbled on it in between sweet hits of berry. it was thick, juicy and melted in my mouth. i must say it's the best bacon i have had in ages! guys, if bacon is your thang for brekkie then give scout a go! it won't disappoint! thanks for a great start to my day!

fab little cafe! got a bit hot after a while but food & coffee was great. found a park easily on a wed at 1030. i'm keen to go back & try the big breaki 😄

i had heard about scout and seen their menu before and finally decided to go there after my night shifts. parking is hard since its along a one way street with very limited spots due to their timing. the side streets are pretty small and on hills so good luck. keep an eye out for this spot!. i have to add that i hated the furniture for this place, the stools were too short for the tables and then the bench was too high for the table. otherwise the decoration for the place isn't too bad. it's a cool little hipster place with a very solid following of loyal locals judging from the constant flow of foot traffic. the menu is normally up on their fb page.

awesome little place that does great coffee & breakfast. cool relaxed vibe, one of the better brunch places in brisbane! saigon coffee on a hot day is a highlight.

every now and then it’s nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and scout holds that perfect haven. not too far from the cbd in spring hill, it’s a short bus ride with a stop nearly right outside the front door or a leisurely walk, although uphill. scout’s interior design almost reminds of a small hipster cafe from the northern suburbs of melbourne, various nicknacks on the walls and floor, mismatched timber counter and bench top and mini hanging garden from the roof. even the very friendly staff match the vibe perfectly.

bagel brekky was delicious. although after placing an order it took sometime to get the food but compensate with taste. should visit at least once list cafe in brisbane.

excellent spot for breakfast! i didn't even know you could get cafes this good in brisbane. i came with a friend and the staff were attentive and friendly, made us feel very welcome! they use supreme (i.e. proper wellington coffee beans) and make a mean soy latte. loved my big brekky and chocolate ganache shake, will be back to try the rest of the menu.

with its cozy layout and friendly staff, scout is a great cafe to catch up for coffee or breakfast. there's a good range of items on the breakfast and lunch menus and prices are fairly reasonable. the variations on different savoury bagels is great and we ordered three types. all had great flavour and came out quickly and we would be happy to order them again. all in all scout is a great joint and definitely worth a visit.

found this gem when looking for new cafes to try on zomato and it didn't disappoint. ordered the mushroom salad with buttered sourdough and the wagyu meat loaf bagel with accompaniments of the watermelon apple mint and carrot celery ginger juices. the salad had a wonderful combination of goats cheese and juicy mushrooms which was delicious and surprisingly filling. the bagel was the special of the day and all the ingredients complimented each other well. a great experience with super friendly and accommodating staff, will definitely be back!

on a bright and sunny friday morning, i ventured to the nearby roma parklands and worked up quite a hunger. looking around i found scout cafe and wandered through the doors. i was instantly greeted by the cheerful staff who offered me a window bay seat. cold water was brought to us and a tasty looking menu. we asked for some advice on our food choices and were pleasantly surprised at how picturesque the food was. i had the popular breakfast bagel with a side of mushrooms. the bagel was infused with flavour and topped with fresh ingredients and a perfectly cooked egg. my dining partner ordered the breakfast taco - we were warned that there was no meat but it was very filling with an excellent kick. staff were friendly and kept checking on us.

loved our breakfast at this quirky cafe. a miscommunication meant i got a brekky bagel with haloumi instead of avo toast with haloumi but the bagel was so delicious i didn't mind! i also loved that the cafe uses laguiole knives, makes cutting the bagel a breeze :) my partner had the bircher which appears to be a small portion but is deliciously filling. the coffee was good, but not among the best in brisbane in my opinion - nevertheless i will definitely return because service and food were on point!

recommended by friends. ordered a delicious salmon bagel & a coffee, both were excellent. ordered my son a brownie & babycino which i assume were good because they disappeared!

had amazing breakfast at scout this morning. as a local in spring hill i can imagine they get packed out doing all day breakfasts on weekends. the bagels are delish and vego options are available without a worry.
amazing coffee and excellent service. can only recommend. until next time, scout!
