more than meets the eye. my wife and i were tired and hungry after a long drive (15 hours) to seattle from edmonton, ab. we were craving some hearty grub such ribs and steak. the receptionist at our hotel recommend scott's bar and grill. from the outside it just looked like a bog-standard pub and grill, but then when step in, the atmosphere changes; it has a higher class feel than most pub grills. the decor was comfortable and fitting to the feel of the place, also the place had no music but the atmosphere was created by the chitter-chatter and laughter of the diners themselves. the staff were extremely friendly and polite, and because it was our first time there, we were greeted and served by the manager personally complimentary (but very large portion) crab & artichoke dip with freshly baked ciabatta bread, which was absolutely delicious by the way, so far so good. the menu was concise - but that doesn't mean there isn't much to choose from - and very reasonably priced. theservicewas quick and efficient, and the food was fabulous. i wish we were in the seattle area longer so that we were able to visit this restaurant again. highly recommended.
