my fave menu item?. spicy chicken fettuccini, hands down. service is not so bad but "sometimes" they could use an extra server. it's agoodplace to go with a group. drinks are good.
they aren't (always) spectacular, but scott's is a solid place to eat and have a drink in a nice environment.

hot spot. my mother loves this place, and, if you can get in, if you have time to wait, the food is good. i don't know that it is anything so special that people will wait up to an hour or so for, but we are loyal to scott's because of the years we have been going there and the reliability of agoodmeal there.

when my parents needed to order out, scott's would package it all up for them and bring it out to the car. incredible sensitivity to the customer, and very kind service.

i really love scott's!. i have spent quite a lot of time at scott's -- as i love the menu, the early dinners, happy hour in the bar with half price appetizers and it's cheap and close!

cheap being a relative term, applied in this case on comparison with his sister restaurants such as the palomino, which is a lot more expensive and less relaxed!

believe me, the prix fix early seating dinner is the best deal in town for $22 for a 3 course (soup or salad, entree w/sides, dessert plus coffee, tea or soda!)! try the rock salt prime rib between 4-6 pm for only $22!!

you have to try the parmesan/artichoke/crab dip -- it's so yummy we usually take some home!

i've always had great service, it's clean and not too loud in the bar, it draws a nice neighborhood crowd as well as 9-5ers after work. you can also getgoodfood in the bar until late!!

there have been a couple of times in the restaurant when i didn't like something and had to send my food back...but they have always been cheerful, helpful and very accommodating!

i recommend scott's all the time, go for happy hour and check it out and then go back for dinner because you can't resist!

disappointed too many times!. there aren't many decent restaurants in the shoreline area. that's why we've been to scott's several times. the first time it was great. we ordered the rock salt prime rib and the burnt creme custard for dessert. we've also had agoodbrunch there a few times when we ordered the vanilla custard french toast. but, everything else has been a major disappointment. i tried ordering the rock salt prime rib again and mine was sliced paper thin, while my boyfriend had a thick cut. i ordered an overpriced steak salad another time, and there was nothing to it! the last time we went there for dinner, i ordered the chicken breast dijon. it was actually 3 ultra thin pounded cutlets fried until they were as hard as a hockey puck served with a side of almost raw vegetables, and what tasted like instant potatoes. the waitress was very nice and accommodating and helped me order something else. i played it safe and ordered the french dip. it was disgusting!!! the meat and the caramelized onions were cold but the cheese had been heated to the point where it was fused to the bun like rubber. then then bun was soaked in au jus to the point where you couldn't pick up the sandwich because it was so soggy. ugh. i can only recommend this place for the burnt creme custard or the vanilla custard french toast because they haven't screwed that up yet. the food is definitely a bit overpriced, too.
