all i got to say is the name is different and i love it. they have the best wings ingulfshores and foley, and i've got to say thanks to jeff, the cheff back in the kitchen.. wouldn't make it without him.

sassy bass pizza... no thanks.. this review is for sassy bass pizza. we called the # of the normal pizza place we order from when ingulfshores, and this was what we got. it was confusing at first as the name had changed. we ordered two 16" pepperoni pizzas and an order of garlic cheesesticks, they only carry pizza. so, we just ordered the pizza. the total was not given over the phone, when we picked it up it was $43!!!! the pizza was terrible to say the least. the bottom was floury, the pepperonis were burned in places, and undercooked in others. save your money and order papa johns!

amazing food, and atmosphere. definitely worth a visit and we will be back. we live ingulfshores and had friends and family staying down ft.morgan when we decided to try sassy bass rather then driving to town. this was a great decision, the only problem was management. we had a great server that was not able to serve us because the manager wouldn't leave our table. we told him we loved the food and he asked us to write a review for the restaurant, i have never had this happen before. i'm happy to report the food is the best in ft. morgan by far and service was great except for this mgr. continually coming to our table and bothering all of us. the food was so good we didn't want to be rude, but this place could be the new must visit restaurant down ft.morgan if their mgr. can just let a table eat in peace and should not be soliciting customers to write reviews. i really hope he's not there when we go back.

the service was absolutely horrendous. we had a party of 11 during slow time (2:00 pm on a monday). immediately upon sitting down we were informed she would only make 3 separate checks (we didn't even ask for separate checks). our drinks were empty the majority of the time. thankfully they sure did slap an automatic gratuity in the bill though. our waitress was tipped $56 for doing a terrible job. i don't mind tipping well for great service, but good grief. we were really excited to try this place, especially since we visitgulfshores every year, but never again. save your money and go somewhere where you cavan enjoy your dining experience rather than be upset about the poor service.

indies 408 owner. i had the pleasure of eating here on several occasions this past winter while staying at my condo down the road at the indies. the food is equivalent to what i'd expect in new orleans or where i live on the mississippigulfcoast; fresh, deliciously spicey and full of unique flavors. the owner and staff are very friendly and are there to please.
this is the most friendly atmosphere and best food that i have had on the alabama coast, ever, double thumbs up!!

abby ridley davis and i went to dinner with sharon etter weber and bob weber at sassy bass in fort morgan after a wonderful day of fishing. the first thing i learned was that even on a slow night there is no place to park a car and boat. i will not be doing that again. the menu is fish camp style with upscale pricing. it is very similar to mikee's fare but about $6 per plate higher, and does not include a salad. there was no bread, or crackers and butter which we expected at these prices. they also do not have baked potatoes. the food was overall good. comments about each entree are below the picture on fort morgan supper club facebook site. we especially liked the homemade french fries rather than frozen. we were disappointed in the bushwhackers, which are made with ice cream mix instead of with real premium ice cream, and as a result are thin and not as tasty. they are convenient to those on the 18 mile stretch fromgulfshores to fort morgan.

the best food on the alabamagulfcoast. and the best beer. we have visited sassy bass on several occasions and each visit has been impressive. they seem to know several things that othergulfcoast eateries don't. for example, they know that many people don't care for watery big brewery beers and have a variety of local craft beers on tap. they know that a crab cake should be made mostly of crab meat and not of filler, and that the best way to cook tuna is to barely cook it. the sliced prime rib open faced sandwich is just amazing. i would give it a 5 except that the atmosphere can be a bit rowdy. i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal, especially if they are looking for a good beer to accompany it.

high prices, plenty of food with bland or no taste.. my family of 4 visited here when they first opened and had a bad experiance. we gave them a second chance 2 years later. the food is still over priced. they do give you a good portion though. the taste department is severely lacking. i had to add salt and pepper to everything. the french fries were very cold on all plates that they came on. the cold slaw had no taste but for cabbage. store bought scalloped potatoes hands down are better than theirs. our waitresses spent 15 minutes talking to another table while my drink cup sat empty. in my opinion, spend the extra gas and drive togulfshores and give any of those restaurants a shot!

excellent fresh catch of the day. last night had great fresh catch grouper. very innovative sauce with shrimp on top.
hubby had the tasty skirt steak. excellent service and presentations of dishes.
so nice to have a quality restaurant in morgan town. beats the drive togulfshores!

sassy bass is great. bam!!!! yeah, they may not be on the beaten path of all the other places ingulfshores, but by far worth the drive. see you again next month!!!!!

this place rules!!! the food is outstanding. real gourmet style dishes, not just fried junk. the decor is nothing fancy, but the place is clean and the servers and owners were very friendly. breakfast lunch and dinner. we had a fantastic mahi dish and filet mignon kabobs. came back for a great breakfast the next morning. check the photo! we drove togulfshores to eat at a few places that ended up being gross and with crusty service. we were excited to find this place right around the corner!

we had a wonderful experience at sassy bass...the food was way above par and the service was really exceptional (thanks mark, randy and kathy)! don't miss this place if you're anywhere on the sane side ofgulfshores or if you're looking to get away from the insanity of the vacation dining scene. i highly suggest the mahi and grits!

loved it. this place was great. we ate at several restuarants aroundgulfshores and then we found this place right next to our beach rental. the crab soup was the best in town! the staff were very friendly. we were surprised with live music which we usually dont like but it was very good. we really enjoyed it and will go back before we leave town!

my new fav place!. although at times the service is slow..and they havent yet gotten use to tons of customers at once i absolutely love this place! the food is well priced and the quality is amazing. best wings in foley andgulfshores! i always get the fried chicken sandwich and my husband likes to get the prime rib sandwich and both are amazing. i would highly recommend everyone give this place a try. remember everyone that this is a brand new restaurant and they are still working out some kinks but alllll of the food is absolutely amazing and crazy affordable :)

who is that hot girl at sassy bass ingulfshores. i believe her name was lindsey but not sure. she mentioned not being from around here. i'm going tomorrow to see if i can get her name if i haven't gotten it by then! she's worth the stop in!
