ristorante enrico

was there over the long weekend having not been for about 10+ years. wasn't surprised to see it was as busy as ever.
luckily we didn't have to wait for seating, as there were 2 of us, unlike some people who were forced to wait in the wind and cold for 20+ mins to be seated. so consider this when going there without a booking - be prepared to wait.

we only stopped by for drinks and snacks, so couldn't try anything major on the menu. however, we tried the feta focaccia.. honestly in the top 3pizzasi've ever eaten in my life. highly recommend it! it's a must have. trust me. do it.

only complaint was about the cocktails. we were told they don't have a speciality cocktail menu, but could make us what we wanted. so we ordered a strawberry daquiri and a long island. the long island was super tasty but the daquiri failed in all respects. it was not nearly as icy and as thick as it should be, and was made super sweet with syrup as opposed to strawberry juice and fresh berries - it was virtually syrup in a glass. would recommend focusing some attention on cocktails as i think it would be a very popular addition to the menu when you take into account the demographics of the patrons and the location!

don’t know how the wait-staff never write anything down, it’s astonishing! the vibe is festive and the line for a table always long. the bomba is what they are known for and it’s a great sharing starter.pizzasare delicious and toppings generous. the wine is reasonably priced. a great place for a family lunch!

greatpizzasand the atmosphere is awesome. a great spot for a meal. the service was great. happy to recommend enrico’s to anyone, worth a drive if you’re within an hour!

this establishment really lives up to its expectations!

the view is beyond incredible and the food is really wholesome. we had a variety ofpizzasand pastas and they were are tasty!

great atmosphere, on the beach! really friendly and helpful servers. the food is great. out of season so the service quick. they have a good wine list, with lambrusco and prosecco on the list. i had a cocktail, mojito was brilliant, original made from scratch! they don't have a cocktail menu, but the barman will mix what you need. thepizzaslook divine. i had the ravioli, was very tasty. we shared a dessert of tiramisu, so light and fresh, a must if you have space left! a lovely, windy, cool night out in a warm cozy interior, spoilt with an italian inspired menu.

we were in the area for 6 days and managed to visit 3 times! it was good italian food with fresh ingredients and lotsa love. we tried oysters, mussels, line fish, pasta andpizzasand all came up trumps. the mussels is done the italian way, white wine, parsley and garlic (no cream) which really highlights the flavour. the meat ravioli and penne bolognese all great and the line fish fresh and simply grilled. the zonin prosecco was perfect to accompany the meal and my daughter reports that she enjoyed the tiramisu

now been there twice in the last 10 days. the first time we ordered pizza. they were among the bestpizzaswe have had. i had the seafood send my wife had a vegetarian. both were great, no skimping on the ingredients.
on our second visit we both had veal. my wife had the vest marsala while i had the oso buco. i can recommend both.bsetvice wad good both times, the view is great, and the atmosphere is good. just beware you can't book in advance and might have to wait for a table, especially in busy periods.

i've heard great things about this restaurant so we really had to go. waited to be seated for a hour which we were told is normal. the views were spectacular & the waiters were friendly. we ordered threepizzasand one calamari meal. the food toke ridiculously long (1 and a half hours).. although the restaurant was filled to capacity, 3pizzas& calamari shouldn't take so long. the food was delicious but couldn't wait that long again.

enrico's does it again!

i have always loved this restaurant - located on keurbooms beach with views for days, vibey and boasting possibly the bestpizzasin sa!

and this time was no different! we popped in for an early lunch and a few chilled beers. as plett is entirely packed over season, it is recommended to get there as early as possible - the restaurant opens at 12, and even though we arrived a few minutes before, there was already a queue of loyal patrons. but this is what makes enrico's so special - from the time we stepped into the line, waiting to be seated, the hostess informed us that they needed to wait for a waiter to walk you to your table to ensure we got the best possible service! and we sure did - our waitress was friendly and on absolute top form, ensuring we had cold drinks in our hands within minutes, on her own initiative brought out the kids food before everyone else's as not to leave little tummies hungry and ensured that every need was catered to and expectations managed throughout.

the food lived up to expectations - thin, crispy basedpizzasloaded with fresh toppings and served hot, straight from the oven!

one of plett's gems, a restaurant and team that understand service and quality produce - would recommend any day!

by far the best place in plett to have a glass ( or bottle ) of wine, some spectacular food we love theirpizzasand steaks )  and most breathtaking views all at once. being situated on the beach makes it perfect for those with energetic kids who can  to run and play and still be in your sight. the staff are super friendly and handle their  busy days really well. i would strongly recommend everyone to take some time out in their holiday  to go and check it out .you wont be sorry.

what a special little place in terms of food, friendly service and a homely, relaxed location right on the beach with unrivaled panoramic views of the ocean! enrico's is an italian restaurant situated right on main beach, keurbooms strand and it is evident from the moment you walk in, that 'enrico' is passionate about his italian food!!! 

if you are looking for fine dining, this is not it. enrico's is a casual and friendly restaurant whose passion is on the food that you eat (and the pricing is very good to match).. 

yesterday, i chose the  'arrosto'  (oven baked veal, rolled and stuffed with italian bacon, mushrooms, a bit of garlic and rosemary, served sliced in a white wine and creamy sauce) and on another visit, the self-titled 'fish enrico'! i also love their caprese salads.. in fact enrico's has something for everyone! great, fresh salads, excellentpizzasand delicious pastas!in his unusual selection of desserts, i would recommend  the green apple & grappa sorbet! delicious! 

*recommendation: you cannot come to this part of the world and not pay a visit to enrico's for the best italian on the garden route! i just love it here! however, enrico's does not take bookings over peak periods. they are open from 12:00, and their kitchen closes at 9pm so arrive early to avoid disappointment!

beautiful setting, stunning view of the sea and sunsets, and gorgeous food. what more could you want? thepizzasare great, and the seafood is excellent quality and really yum (try the kingklip). one downfall is that there can be a loooooong queue in holiday season (they dont take bookings). so get there early - 5:30pm.

this restaurant is amazing, it takes a lot to impress me and this place far exceeded my expectations! food was so good and fresh, you could tell it was made to order! atmosphere was great at well. enrico made you feel very welcomed, even gave us all a free glass of wine while we waited. we loved watching the guy making thepizzaswhile we waited as well. i would eat hear everyday if i could!

we had 2 take outpizzaslast night- great dinner. this is the traditional style of pizza making- and we loved it! none of this little caesar's crap... we'll be back!
