expected alot more from this place after reading the reviews. ordered a seafoodpizzawhich considering where this place is located, to have fresh seafood on their pizza, they didn't. tinned mussels and calamari. their line fish is stumpnose which is on the sassi red list. the location, view and service is on point though.

this is easily the best restaurant in and around plett! we arrived for a late dinner and were seated outside with a view of the sea. we did wait a little while to be given a menu, but, to be fair, the place was packed. once we had ordered, our food and drinks arrived promptly. the food was outstanding - my pasta came in such a huge portion that i had enough to take home for two meals! my husband said hispizzawas very good and not oily at all.

i love the vibe of this restaurant and it's beautiful location right next to the keurbooms beach. lovely spread of authentic italian food, and well made! mypizzawas divine and my partners fish of the day was of the best we've tasted! we come here every year while on holiday and will continue to do so for a long time to come !

the only way you could get closer to the sea is if you physically went and dove into it. a lovely venue to enjoy sundowners and perhaps share apizzawith a group of friends for an appetizer, but unfortunately i felt the food wasn't that great. i was expecting genuine italian food, but i got a typical south african version ofpizzaand pasta.

i'll get straight to it - the food wasn't that bad, but it wasn't good either. it's a very "local is lekker" kind of place and i suppose you get a good idea of the local vibe if you dine here. my better half had the porcapizzawith avo and i had the seafood linguine. thepizzawas good and had generous toppings. my pasta was also quite a generous portion (i couldn't finish it), but the sauce was very watery, so i ended up having to spoon it over my pasta to give it some taste.

i definitely recommend you try their desserts, especially the sorbets - very refreshing, especially on a hot summer's evening. i had the tiramisu, which is also quite a big portion and tasty, but i've had better.

overall, a nice evening, but not something to cry home about. we enjoyed the relaxed vibe with live music playing in the background, the waves crashing on the rocks beneath us. nice venue, but don't expect too much from the food.

awesome views and even better pizzas. thin, crispy crusts and fresh toppings, i cannot recall a betterpizzain recent memory. relaxed outdoor vibe with a local muscian strumming away made for a perfect vacation lunch.

we had a pleasant dinner dining experience - we took a chance on the bomba as a starter and we're pleasantly surprised as we tried to figure out how to attack it. the service was friendly and helpful, and thepizza& pasta lived up to expectations. the beachfront location is a massive plus on sunny days.

very good spot this! the setting is fantastic, be sure to go on a sunny warm day so you can sit outside.pizzawas great. service was average. maybe our waiter just had a bad day but was not the "happiest".

the menu is italian with a great choice of pasta,pizzaand many other dishes. they were happy to change one of the dishes to cater for my fussy daughter.

the view over the ocean is outstanding as was the ambiance in the restaurant.

nobody visits plet without paying enrico's a visit. a large terrace overlooking the beach and friendly waiters. the menu with options for everyone. italian food excellent, that goes without saying. plentypizzaand pasta options. paired with a draft beer or a glass of wine, you can sit here for hours and eat and drink while enjoying the sunset. prices very reasonable, food very good.

we had been looking forward to enrico's for a while, and after the queue we waited in to get a table because you can't book in advance, we definitely expected better. for starters, they are serving 3 different types of fish that are on the red list, which is illegal, also the food really was a let down. thepizzawas dry and underwhelming, the fish dishes were nice but the veggies were also really not great (dry carrot and baby marrow as a side) and the sangria was actually terrible! there is no salad suitable for a table on the menu, and when they offer to make you a table salad that they say will only serve 3 people, it costs r125!! the side bowl side salad is r69. and it's bad mozzarella with some lettuce, tomato and cucumber and a sprinkle of olives. to top it all it was pricey so you expect much better quality. i must say the service from the hostess and our waiter trust was really impeccable, they were kind, welcoming and very helpful. but myself and the 7 people i went with will definitely not be returning. so disappointing as we really looked forward to it.

yes there was a 1.5hr wait but boy it was worth it. breathtaking views and an even more spectacular sunset. thepizzawas terrific, you could taste the ingredients were of a high quality. starter caprese was superb, best buffalo mozzarella i have had for a while. waiters were great despite the hectic crowd. throw in a touch of live music and you have a winner. for me the best restaurant in plett. slight concern was the alcohol that seemed slightly watered down but hey. bravo enrico!! a true gem of a place in beautiful keurboomstrand.

not only is the location of this authentic italian restaurant beautiful, but the food is delicious especially their special 'enrico special' being a rump, and one must have a 'bomba' garlicpizzabread. one of the best spots to go in the garden route.

after reading such highly rated reviews we drove out to enrico to see what all the hype was about, but perhaps our expectations were too high. we sat inside as it was too windy and cold to properly enjoy the outside sea view. it was rather cramped inside and the place was busy and so the waiter took long to attended to us. we ordered pasta andpizzaand found it to be rather average.

enrico is an institution, and a core part of the plett experience! gorgeous views of keurbooms main beach. great service from lovely staff, and an enchanting manager. we had the ravioli ruffiana pasta, which was fantastic, but the avo, spinach and fetapizzawas truly magical. the bombas are always an enjoyable starter. looking forward to next time!
