tasty & good price. i ate outside at toro, and my husband & i had a great time. drafts are only $1 on mondays, & margaritas are $1 tuesday. my margarita was delicious. i also had the taco salad, which was a little light on the lettuce, but our server got me more very quickly, and everything was well cooked and flavorful. i loved the mole &salsathey served with the chips, although i wish the salsa'd had some chunks of tomato. i would happily go back for more!

i love the chicken torito soup, black bean dip, and chicken burritos. their mango margarita is excellent and like the fact they frequently offer 2 for 1 margarita deals. it's also nice that they serve both freshsalsaand black bean dip with crispy tortilla chips before your meal!

mexican shrimp cocktails new on the menu. there is no single menu item that i like better than a mexican shrimp cocktail. i have a certain criteria i look for in a good msc. first, plenty of pica de gallo, slightly crunchy but no "raw" flavor. check! plenty on shrimp, never raw but not over cooked to chewy. check! generous portions check! served in a med size margarita glass with a dozen nice sized tail off shrimp, this was perfect. it was priced at 10.29 where i paid 16.95 in alaska. try it out. if you're not a big eater you may want this instead of a meal. my server daniel miranda was quick, attentive, and pleasant. service was exceptional.

good food, good margaritas 4 out of 5 stars. i've been to rio bravo a couple if times now. even during a busy luncheon hour the service was good. great fajitas. plenty of complementary tortilla chips which they serve with a decent gringosalsaand a nice, thin bean dip as well. kudos on the bonus there. the fajitas were not greasy, plenty of veggies. my only complaint would be i got the lunch special but has to pay an extra 1.25 for 3 corn tortillas to go with the meal. the margaritas are 2 for 1 so if you go alone, you'll want the not so small, small size. good food, good service, be wary of add ons. i think i'll look closely at the menu for the add on cost of tortillas to go with fajitas. these were not extras. i have never been charged for them anywhere i've been. extras, i understand, but with a meal? no.

friday nightmare. service was sloppy then food was just horrible tacos were soggy on bottom beans were cold then the burrito was just just as cold when we complained they took ten% off the check when all said and done we asked for chips andsalsato go we were told no !!!
when i paid the bill our waiter did not bring correct change only then did we speak to management his reply was "we are in a depression" thank you good night ???? i do not recommend this place!!!

pretty standard mexican. this is pretty standard mexican here. nothing exciting and nothing is done exceptional well. tastes like every other mediocre mexican restaurant.

on a good note, i really enjoyed their chips,salsaand bonus. the bonus is pureed black beans to go with your chips, for free. i also really enjoyed the other side items like rice and refried beans. these were better than most standard mexican restaurants.

in sum, go for the cheap drinks, chips and sides. the entrees are just like every where else.

oh, and on a side note. we went for happy hour and ordered corona's (buy 1 get 1). i didn't wanna say anything, but i'm pretty sure they are not giving you the beer you order at happy hour. investigate for yourself.

authentic and delicious. (:. been going to toro bravo for about 3-4 years, and it has always been my go-to mexican restaurant. the food portion is excellent for the price, however i must add that they have change the menu in the last 4 months or so and the prices did slightly increase. the food is always served quickly and fresh, completely authentic mexican as well. the servers are polite, attentive, and quick. the complimentarysalsaand chips arrive as soon as you sit down, and they continue to keep you stocked insalsaas well as chips through out your meal without charging. the redsalsais my absolute favorite but the taste does slightly change each time... somedays a little more spicy than others but delicious regardless. one of my favorite dishes is the chimichangas with ground beef, must try.
really recommend if your in the mood for a good authentic mexican dish or some delicious salsa.

now on 9mile road in p'cola!. open in the former joey patti's on 9mile rd., we ordered 2 appetizers, chicken fajitas, flautas, mexican burrito and drinks for 3 adults. our bill came to $40. chips and 2 types ofsalsaarrive( as the usual mex restaurant freebie) chipotle and a hotter type. chipotle definitely homemade and very good. good carmelization on the fajitas, very flavorful. my party was happy with their food, wait staff and the fact they serve beer and huge margaritas....we will be back.

looks like a chain on the outside but were exceedingly impressed. thesalsais spicy an flavorful. service is instant and attentive. food is flavorful and price is reasonable. 5 stars.

consistently awesome. thesalsais delicious, my quesadilla has been consistently awesome, and the prices are reasonable. the restaurant itself is very clean and the staff friendly. we go here often-it is the kind of place that everyone in our group enjoys.
