rio bravo

i'm from texas and am spoiled with some great mexican food back home, but rio bravo was some of the best. the chicken fajita plate was huge and full of flavor. my family tried the tacos, chile rellenos, flautas, chimichangas, and enchiladas. all of these were just like the tex-mex back home. it was really nice to be able to find aplacewith great tex-mex not in texas.

food was good but avoid the margaritas. they are so weak. theplacecould also use some decorations as the blank white walls are a bit much.

you can tell that thisplacecares about presentation and service. i ordered the fajitas and they were very good. my family ordered tacos and margaritas, and they had huge smiles the entire meal. i am very happy with my experience. the atmosphere is very relaxed and fun. my only complaint is that the bartender needs to practice consistency. everyone ordered the same drink and it tasted different. despite that, i would recommend coming here for dinner! it is a greatplaceto bring your friends to.

better for lunch.. thisplacehas great food but i think they get a little overwhelmed on weekend nights and the service and food suffers. i definitely recommend thisplacefor lunch, avoid on weekend nights.

effing awesome! i'm from california, and have had my fair share of mexican food. (most food for that matter) lol. this joint is hot!! finally great mex-mex in fl!!!! my husband had the giant burito and it was great! huge scoops of sour cream and guac on the side, tender, well seasoned meat perfect hint of cilantro and perfectly tender hommeade spanish rice. 16 inchs of burrito like that any day!!!!! also the menu reads that if you finish the burrito in house you get a shirt!!! i had a combo plate, chicken to be exact. a taco,chili and enchlada. all just amazing. this is real mexican food. theplacewas well decorated service was quick and everything ordered was correct. i don't know what else we could have asked for! well..i just hav one request, chef will you be my new sancho?!?!?! any man (or woman) who can cook that well has my heart ;)

love it. anyone who does not like toro bravo has no taste for mexican food. this is the bestplacein town. the price is perfect. i'm originally from illinois and thisplacecan comparfe to the best there.

we're from out of town and were looking for a mexican restaurant near pensacola beach. saw the reviews for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. a little concerned when we pulled up to theplacesince it was in a strip mall that shared a parking lot with walmart, but we entered determined not to judge the book by it's cover. although the inside isn't anything special, the food more than made up for its lack of luster. i just want to confirm that this restaurant lived up to the hype. everything we ordered was delicious. we would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great mexican meal. we'll definitely return here on our next trip.

consistently awesome. the salsa is delicious, my quesadilla has been consistently awesome, and the prices are reasonable. the restaurant itself is very clean and the staff friendly. we go here often-it is the kind ofplacethat everyone in our group enjoys.
