tasty & good price. i ate outside at toro, and my husband & i had a great time. drafts are only $1 on mondays, & margaritas are $1 tuesday. my margarita was delicious. i also had the taco salad, which was a little light on the lettuce, but our server got me more very quickly, and everything was well cooked and flavorful. i loved the mole & salsa they served with the chips, although i wish the salsa'd had some chunks of tomato. i would happily go back for more!

i'm from texas and am spoiled with some great mexican food back home, but rio bravo was some of the best. the chicken fajita plate was huge and full of flavor. my family tried the tacos, chile rellenos, flautas, chimichangas, and enchiladas. all of these were just like the tex-mex back home. it was really nice to be able to find a place with great tex-mex not in texas.

food was good but avoid the margaritas. they are so weak. the place could also use some decorations as the blank white walls are a bit much.

there is no better mexican food in this area. fajitas are second to none every time. prices are cheap and 2for1 drinks everyday. el papacito and burrito el carbon are our favorites. not sure what they marinate their meat in but i need to steal that marinade. definitely order the home style guacamole.

excellent mexican food, from the nachos and sauce in the beginning to the main dish and desserts. prices are good as with most mexican restaurants, wait staff attentive. food quality is top notched. the inside of the restaurant does seems dimly lit but the atmosphere is good.

this used to be our favorite mexican restaurant, lately it’s a disaster. they have outgrown their ability to handle it. very slow and very cold food. tables were walking out including us. it’s a shame.

you can tell that this place cares about presentation and service. i ordered the fajitas and they were very good. my family ordered tacos and margaritas, and they had huge smiles the entire meal. i am very happy with my experience. the atmosphere is very relaxed and fun. my only complaint is that the bartender needs to practice consistency. everyone ordered the same drink and it tasted different. despite that, i would recommend coming here for dinner! it is a great place to bring your friends to.

i love the chicken torito soup, black bean dip, and chicken burritos. their mango margarita is excellent and like the fact they frequently offer 2 for 1 margarita deals. it's also nice that they serve both fresh salsa and black bean dip with crispy tortilla chips before your meal!

gulf breeze. the manager humilated and disrespected my brother. my brother was visiting from out of state and wanted to take me out to eat. we s at and the bar at the gulf breeze restuarant. the waitress, drinks, and chips/dip were amazing. when we got the main dish, mine was excellent but my brothers carne asada steak had a funny taste. he had me taste it and it had a lighter fluid flavor that left a filmy taste on your tongue and upper roof of mouth. it was not edible because of the this. he spoke to our waitress, and explained that the food was great but the steak portion tasted off. she said she would speak to manager. then the manager came over and my brother nicely explained what was wrong with the meat. he asked the manager to taste it so he could see. the manager plunged his fingers into my brothers dish, with rice flying on the counter the manager shoved a piece of meat in his mouth and before even chewing shrugged his shoulders and said the meat was fine but he would take that portion off the bill. my brother was humilated and was shocked that the manager did this and got up saying to get his bill that he would pay for the steak of course my brother was steamed at manager for plunging the fingers in his food and treating him with disrespect like that.. i was embarrassed and it ruined our whole evenjng. his meat was bad...there is no denying that. a good manager would have just apoligized,and offered him something else for his dinner. i can not believe how terrible my brother was treated...they need a new manager. the food was exceptional except for his steak. this could have ended up a great review if the manager would have treated him nicely.

best chicken taco salad and grilled chicken quesadilla i've ever had!!!

mexican shrimp cocktails new on the menu. there is no single menu item that i like better than a mexican shrimp cocktail. i have a certain criteria i look for in a good msc. first, plenty of pica de gallo, slightly crunchy but no "raw" flavor. check! plenty on shrimp, never raw but not over cooked to chewy. check! generous portions check! served in a med size margarita glass with a dozen nice sized tail off shrimp, this was perfect. it was priced at 10.29 where i paid 16.95 in alaska. try it out. if you're not a big eater you may want this instead of a meal. my server daniel miranda was quick, attentive, and pleasant. service was exceptional.

good food, good margaritas 4 out of 5 stars. i've been to rio bravo a couple if times now. even during a busy luncheon hour the service was good. great fajitas. plenty of complementary tortilla chips which they serve with a decent gringo salsa and a nice, thin bean dip as well. kudos on the bonus there. the fajitas were not greasy, plenty of veggies. my only complaint would be i got the lunch special but has to pay an extra 1.25 for 3 corn tortillas to go with the meal. the margaritas are 2 for 1 so if you go alone, you'll want the not so small, small size. good food, good service, be wary of add ons. i think i'll look closely at the menu for the add on cost of tortillas to go with fajitas. these were not extras. i have never been charged for them anywhere i've been. extras, i understand, but with a meal? no.

always love the food & the margaritas!! my favorite is chicken enchiladas verdes!!

lunch with friends. stopped in for lunch with some friends and loved this place. honestly, been here 2 years and i never even knew it was there. i have been missing out. i ordered the chicken fajitas off the lunch menu and was very surprised how much food there was. and it was so good. i will be going here again
