tasty &goodprice. i ate outside at toro, and my husband & i had a great time. drafts are only $1 on mondays, & margaritas are $1 tuesday. my margarita was delicious. i also had the taco salad, which was a little light on the lettuce, but our server got me more very quickly, and everything was well cooked and flavorful. i loved the mole & salsa they served with the chips, although i wish the salsa'd had some chunks of tomato. i would happily go back for more!

food wasgoodbut avoid the margaritas. they are so weak. the place could also use some decorations as the blank white walls are a bit much.

excellent mexican food, from the nachos and sauce in the beginning to the main dish and desserts. prices aregoodas with most mexican restaurants, wait staff attentive. food quality is top notched. the inside of the restaurant does seems dimly lit but the atmosphere is good.

gulf breeze. the manager humilated and disrespected my brother. my brother was visiting from out of state and wanted to take me out to eat. we s at and the bar at the gulf breeze restuarant. the waitress, drinks, and chips/dip were amazing. when we got the main dish, mine was excellent but my brothers carne asada steak had a funny taste. he had me taste it and it had a lighter fluid flavor that left a filmy taste on your tongue and upper roof of mouth. it was not edible because of the this. he spoke to our waitress, and explained that the food was great but the steak portion tasted off. she said she would speak to manager. then the manager came over and my brother nicely explained what was wrong with the meat. he asked the manager to taste it so he could see. the manager plunged his fingers into my brothers dish, with rice flying on the counter the manager shoved a piece of meat in his mouth and before even chewing shrugged his shoulders and said the meat was fine but he would take that portion off the bill. my brother was humilated and was shocked that the manager did this and got up saying to get his bill that he would pay for the steak of course my brother was steamed at manager for plunging the fingers in his food and treating him with disrespect like that.. i was embarrassed and it ruined our whole evenjng. his meat was bad...there is no denying that. agoodmanager would have just apoligized,and offered him something else for his dinner. i can not believe how terrible my brother was treated...they need a new manager. the food was exceptional except for his steak. this could have ended up a great review if the manager would have treated him nicely.

mexican shrimp cocktails new on the menu. there is no single menu item that i like better than a mexican shrimp cocktail. i have a certain criteria i look for in agoodmsc. first, plenty of pica de gallo, slightly crunchy but no "raw" flavor. check! plenty on shrimp, never raw but not over cooked to chewy. check! generous portions check! served in a med size margarita glass with a dozen nice sized tail off shrimp, this was perfect. it was priced at 10.29 where i paid 16.95 in alaska. try it out. if you're not a big eater you may want this instead of a meal. my server daniel miranda was quick, attentive, and pleasant. service was exceptional.

good food,goodmargaritas 4 out of 5 stars. i've been to rio bravo a couple if times now. even during a busy luncheon hour the service was good. great fajitas. plenty of complementary tortilla chips which they serve with a decent gringo salsa and a nice, thin bean dip as well. kudos on the bonus there. the fajitas were not greasy, plenty of veggies. my only complaint would be i got the lunch special but has to pay an extra 1.25 for 3 corn tortillas to go with the meal. the margaritas are 2 for 1 so if you go alone, you'll want the not so small, small size.goodfood,goodservice, be wary of add ons. i think i'll look closely at the menu for the add on cost of tortillas to go with fajitas. these were not extras. i have never been charged for them anywhere i've been. extras, i understand, but with a meal? no.

friday nightmare. service was sloppy then food was just horrible tacos were soggy on bottom beans were cold then the burrito was just just as cold when we complained they took ten% off the check when all said and done we asked for chips and salsa to go we were told no !!!
when i paid the bill our waiter did not bring correct change only then did we speak to management his reply was "we are in a depression" thank yougoodnight ???? i do not recommend this place!!!

good place to eat. had lunch,goodfood, reasonable price,goodservice. couldn't want much more.

pretty standard mexican. this is pretty standard mexican here. nothing exciting and nothing is done exceptional well. tastes like every other mediocre mexican restaurant.

on agoodnote, i really enjoyed their chips, salsa and bonus. the bonus is pureed black beans to go with your chips, for free. i also really enjoyed the other side items like rice and refried beans. these were better than most standard mexican restaurants.

in sum, go for the cheap drinks, chips and sides. the entrees are just like every where else.

oh, and on a side note. we went for happy hour and ordered corona's (buy 1 get 1). i didn't wanna say anything, but i'm pretty sure they are not giving you the beer you order at happy hour. investigate for yourself.

last two times we went in the food was not sogoodand the staff was too busy watching soccer to take care of our table. we have been there several times this was the last time. the manager offered me10% off which was like a in the face. lost me as a customer.

i had the chile releno #5 for lunch... excellent with enough spicy bite and of course beans and rice... large draft to wash it down!!!!!goodas it gets

first visit. we had our first meal after reading severalgoodreviews. we were not disappointed. the food was outstanding, service prompt and friendly, the clean and fresh facility very appealing. we highly recommend this as one of the best in our area. we went early (4:30) and beat the crowd and had very personal service as a result.

rio bravo. by the best mexican restaurant in florida i been too.

visitors beware. we are on vacation and wanted something different. this is not the place, poor service (waitress got several orders for our table wrong, and looked at us like it was our fault), and the food was not ofgoodquality (soggy natchos). i do not recommend, there are plenty ofgoodrestaurants in the area.
