the service, food, ambience - everything aboutrimnaam is perfect. the portion sizes are good and the menu has options to choose from. all in all, the experience they provide is worth the money spent :)

we had initially reached the bar 6pm and had asked the staff there to make a reservation inrimnaam for 7.15pm. we had an infant with us. the staff at the bar confirmed the reservation and then we went torimnaam to dine there and to our surprise they informed us that the restaurant was full and our name was not listed in the reservation. we told them that we had informed the bar staff and they had confirmed it. all of this was happening while we could clearly see that half the restaurant was empty. then we had to go back running to the bar and catch hold of the waiter and make him speak to the restaurant staff and the whole ordeal took us 30 extra minutes. now we were tired waiting with the baby. after our meal we paid in cash and were due to receive rs.670 in change. however the waiter returned 500 saying that there was no change available. does this the behavior suit a 5 star chain ? it utter disdain we left the restaurant and vowed to never return again

right about the time india celebrates its various avatars of sangkranti, thailand celebrates songkran. songkran is a harvest festival marking the beginning of the traditional thai new year. and as is the case with most festivals, feasts come as a synonymous part of the celebrations. we were invited torimnaam, at the oberoi bengaluru by pinky, to experience the songkran menu curated by none other than award winning chef tam.

a fabulous restaurant no doubt! and have always been a big fan of the oberoi service until today. happened to visitrimnaam without a reservation - though the restaurant had literally 2 tables occupied we were politely declined a table stating it was fully booked. we were at the polo club for the next one and a half hours, post which the restaurant was still empty without a table being offered to us.
have always had the best experience at oberoi’s pan india, where they have gone out of their way to make exceptions/experiences, but least expected an experience like today. hoping it’s just a one off with perhaps an untrained staff and don’t experience the same again !

this is one of the best places in bangalore to have authentic thai food. the whole place gives off thai village vibes with the wooden roofs and flooring, the fountain in the backdrop, the beautiful gardens and the cave-way entrance is just so thrilling. the place is beautiful beyond words and the food is drool-worthy. we had some classic thai dishes like phad thai, som tam, some jasmine rice and duck roast. it was a beautiful experience and totally worth the cost. thankyourimnaam.

rim naam is undoubtedly the best restaurant. i had been torimnaam to celebrate my friends birthday. i booked us a reservation for lunch. as you walk towards the restaurant, you will find the entrance through a cave. as you enter and exit through the cave you will find the restaurant decorated and refreshed with garden views. so, my friend and i immediately decided to put away our phones and enjoy this unique ambiance. there is a beautiful pond with fishes beside the hotel. we sat next to the pond. the music was very nice and soft. the restaurant offers thai food.

our favorite dish was sattay kai re nuea re kong (chicken) with peanut sauce.

the chicken was very soft and tender. cooked to perfection.

we also liked the kaeng phed (chicken) which is a red curry and we paired it with jasmine rice.

at the end of our meal we received a complimentary birthday cake. the cake was really soft and melts in your mouth. the service was exceptional. give my compliments to the waiters and the chef!

in short, it is a beautiful and romantic restaurant to celebrate any occasion. the quality of food is very good. best ambiance. great service.

while oberoi is in general my favourite hotel in bangalore,rimnaam is fine dining elevated to the next level. while i am no expert on thai food,rimnaam takes you by storm and the food here is an experience for all the senses. you find yourself wondering why you haven’t gone deeper into thai cuisine, after visiting this place. you find yourself scrambling through the menu to try out more dishes. if a restaurant can achieve that, it is not just doing something right, it is upping the game.rimnaam does just that.

went torimnaam for lunch. one of the best thai places in the city and really lives up to the hype.

we had soup and fried chicken for starters. the chicken was especially nice, wrapped in banana leaves.

for main course we had noodles, jasmine rice with yellow peanut curry. mint julep on the side.

the staff was really nice and courteous and helped us with the orders.

it was a wonderful dining experience.

i went torimnaam on 6th november 2021 on a dinner date with my wife and it was totally worth it.

this restaurant not only lives upto its ratings and hype but it exceeds it. the service provided was flawless, the view was breathtaking and the food was delicious.

we mostly had chicken based dishes that included of couple of starters and then flat noodles alongside chicken in thai curry and jasmine rice. we finished with therimnaam mandarin dessert.
everything was lip smacking, however, if i have to be extra critical, the virgin mojito could have been a little better.

also, special kudos to mr. sidharth who made our visit extra special and his service and recommendations were just amazing.

overall, if any place is worth paying the extra bucks for, itsrimnaam.

recently my friend and i had lunch atrimnaam thai restaurant and we enjoyed our lunch experience. the restaurant is beautiful and we felt like we were transported to thailand. the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service is fantastic.

we went torimnaam on a saturday night and the place was quite full. we had made a prior reservation. to start off we had the pastry wrapped prawns and tom yum soup. the pastry wrapped prawns were excellent and unique. the prawns were fresh. the tom yum soup was a warm bowl of comfort food that one would seek on a rainy day in bangalore. for main course, we tried the thai chicken green curry and pork belly. the thai curry used all the right ingredients (including thai eggplant). the pork belly was very well cooked. for dessert, we hadrimnaam mandarin which was the best dessert i have eaten in a very long time. a bite into it created a whole explosion of flavours in my mouth. beautiful tempered chocolate enclosed a filling of dark chocolate mousse with a centre of orange pulp. the place has a beautiful ambience. this is definitely one of the best thai places in bangalore and worth the price. portion sizes are good enough for 2 people. a must visit place for all thai food lovers

we celebrated our anniversary here. got greeted by sidharth who was super helpful with the food recommendations. we ordered
1) tom yum soup - tasty, but definitely on the spicier side - 4/5
2) vegetable platter - 'mock fish' was the best. other items were okay but nothing to write home about. quantity of the platter can be improved. - 2.5/5
3) raw papaya salad and kombusha (both on the house) - both were good - 4/5
4) vegetable noodles - it was okay, we found it bit on the bland side. sidharth promptly replaced it with a more flavorful version - 3.5/5
5)rimnaam mandarin dessert - this was good and kind of interesting. - 4/5
6) anniversary cake (on the house) - 4/5

i've heard so much aboutrimnaam for the past many years and finally got the opportunity to visit! the ambience at the oberoi is breathtaking with a beautiful cavern entrance to the restaurant, greenery all over and open seating over a lake. the place was packed with people so prior reservations are recommended.
coming to the food, we had the pandan leaf wrapped fried chicken, pork ribs in plum sauce, seafood stir fry in tamarind chilli sauce and prawns in soy garlic chilli sauce. the chicken and pork ribs were the stars of the meal as they were absolutely brilliant. such succulent meat bursting with flavours! the prawns were spicy with the right kick of heat. however the seafood stir fry was a let down and wasn't worth the price tag.
the main course was thai red chicken curry with jasmine rice and then pad thai with prawns. both were great with familiar flavours and made for a comforting meal.
the desserts were amazing and made us forget how stuffed we already were! we had therimnaam mandarin, coconut mousse and chilli cheesecake. the mandarin was beautiful with citrus notes infused with dark chocolate and the coconut mousse was a treat if you love the flavour of coconut as it comprised of coconut ice cream, coconut sponge cake and coconut mousse. the chilli cheesecake is a very fusion dessert and is only something you would enjoy if you like combining savoury with sweet. the beverages were average as the mai tai didn't have much of a pineapple flavour as with the sweet sunrise, while the red wine sangria was great and complimented the food well!
siddharth was a great waiter with excellent communication skills and experience. overall it made for a wonderful meal after a very long time and the food, service and ambience was totally worth it! :)

luxury redefined. a perfect place for a fantastic date, a perfect ambience! very courteous staff, the chef visits you for a feedback which is a kind gesture. they really want to ensure you are happy.

it's thai cuisine and not all may like it. and despite all efforts by the chef, i still take a star away because the food was just okayish for us :) again no complaints, a very very courteous team awaits to serve you atrimnaam! so much that they even replaced the food that we didn't like with something better.
