if you are fan of indo-chinese food then you will love the food here. most amazing food in bay area. i am hearing about thisplacefrom past 3 years but got a chance to visit recently. i was wondering why i didn't go there before!

their portion size is small but the delicious food compensate for all. we went in a group of 4 people and made reservations ahead of time and we did arrive on time. so it was easy to get a place. thisplacegets crowded pretty quickly between 8 and 9:30 pm so plan accordingly.

we tried their baby corn, chicken momos, hakka noodles, chicken chopsuey, gobi manchurian. everything tasted just amazing. it is a must visitplacefor indo-chinese food lovers :)

possibly the best indo-chineseplacei’ve been to so far in the bay area. authentic, good ambience & appropriate portion sizes. service could be a bit faster, but it was a busy night. definitely on the pricey side, but worth the splurge. must try the crispy chilly potato, szechwan prawns, and the chilli chicken.

if indo-chinese food is your thing then it’s a okplaceto go.
when i visited friends in town they insisted on me trying thisplaceas i’m a big fan of chinese food. s fried rice were spicy with little ingredients apart from the rice. lotus root were well cooked with kind of a tangy sweet manchu sauce. friends loved it as always and i’m still undecided on how i feel about the place. at least it was freshly cooked and presented well.

i was in the vicinity with a few friends and all of being fans of indo-chinese cuisine, we decided to have dinner at red hot chilli pepper.

theplacehas been done up well and service was pretty prompt. although some our silverware had to be replaced since they were not as clean.

we got started with the crispy chilly potatoes and dry cauliflower manchurian for appetizers. while the chilly potatoes were not as crispy, the cauliflower manchurian was full of flavor and spicy.

for the mains, we got the schezwan fried rice which seemed more like the regular fried rice with very little schezwan sauce. the hakka noodles on the other hand were quite nice and the sizzling vegetables that we ordered along with it were pretty good too. although, i was a little disappointed with the portion size of the sizzling vegetable for the price paid.

and then came the best part of the meal - desserts! the fried ice cream was good but the outer batter was a little too thick. but having said that, i really like the overall flavor.

but the chocolate pyramid was the show-stealer and an absolute delight

the overall experience was average with a few hits and misses.

thisplaceis great! the indo chinese fusion of food is wonderful and there is also so much to choose from! the ambience is wonderful and they have chopsticks to give you the whole experience of eating at a chinese restaurant. they also customize the spiciness making it easy to get food that suits each one's taste. will definitely go again!

my hunt for a good indi-chinese restaurant continues. this was better that all the others i have been to so far in the bay area.

started with the munchow soup that was spot on. the hakka noodles and tangra chicken were tasty too. chilly baby corn was just about ok.

the prawn preparation (chilly prawn i think) fell very short of our expectation. the fried rice was greasy and is avoidable.

theplacewas pretty crowded for lunch. luckily, we had made reservations.

service is so-so.

mixed feeling about the food and hence the average rating.

not being a big fan of indo-chinese cuisine, i did not expect this restaurant to wow me in any way and it didn't. been here multiple times as most of my colleagues tend to crave this very indian cuisine when visiting the us.

food here tends to be fried and oily; with a generous dose of spices with very little subtelty to speak of. portions are generous - do keep that in mind when ordering rice and noodles to accompany your entrees.

i recommend thisplaceonly if you are nostalgic about eting indo-chinese food as most of my colleagues love this place; and it's relatively easy on the pocket.
