if you are fan of indo-chinesefoodthen you will love thefoodhere. most amazingfoodin bay area. i am hearing about this place from past 3 years but got a chance to visit recently. i was wondering why i didn't go there before!

their portion size is small but the deliciousfoodcompensate for all. we went in a group of 4 people and made reservations ahead of time and we did arrive on time. so it was easy to get a place. this place gets crowded pretty quickly between 8 and 9:30 pm so plan accordingly.

we tried their baby corn, chicken momos, hakka noodles, chicken chopsuey, gobi manchurian. everything tasted just amazing. it is a must visit place for indo-chinesefoodlovers :)

in my opinion this is the best indo-chinese restaurant in the bay area. i have been here many times and thefoodhas never disappointed me. once i went there with my team at work and it has a couple of chinese folks. they loved thefoodalthough they were reluctant to call it chinese food. it was an edition of chinesefoodunknown to them 😂. nevertheless everyone loved it

if indo-chinesefoodis your thing then it’s a ok place to go.
when i visited friends in town they insisted on me trying this place as i’m a big fan of chinese food. s fried rice were spicy with little ingredients apart from the rice. lotus root were well cooked with kind of a tangy sweet manchu sauce. friends loved it as always and i’m still undecided on how i feel about the place. at least it was freshly cooked and presented well.

red hot chilli pepper - one of the best indo-chinese restaurant in bay area. i always make reservation online. a table reservation is highly recommended if you are planning to go on weekend. thefoodhere is quite spicy and have the right amount of spices which is meant to appeal the tastebuds. the servers here are are polite and amiable.

i have tried quite a few dishes at rhcp. starting with soup, i have tried their hot n sour and machow soup. i would recommend manchow soup over hot n sour. manchow soup has a distinct aroma that reminds you of the soup that we all get in any chinese restaurant in india. from their small plates, dry chilli chicken, dry cauliflower manchurian and crispy chilli potato - they all are amazing. small plate portions are not large enough.

i like their calcutta chicken, indo china basil chicken, chilli chicken and chicken in hot garlic sauce are delicious. i would recommend indo china basil chicken and chilli chicken. they are super fantastic. from their rice and noodles menu, i have only tried hakka noodles and chilli garlic noodles. the chilli garlic noodles are soft, slightly on the spicier side and always cooked to perfection. i just love it!!

my hunt for a good indi-chinese restaurant continues. this was better that all the others i have been to so far in the bay area.

started with the munchow soup that was spot on. the hakka noodles and tangra chicken were tasty too. chilly baby corn was just about ok.

the prawn preparation (chilly prawn i think) fell very short of our expectation. the fried rice was greasy and is avoidable.

the place was pretty crowded for lunch. luckily, we had made reservations.

service is so-so.

mixed feeling about thefoodand hence the average rating.

not being a big fan of indo-chinese cuisine, i did not expect this restaurant to wow me in any way and it didn't. been here multiple times as most of my colleagues tend to crave this very indian cuisine when visiting the us.

food here tends to be fried and oily; with a generous dose of spices with very little subtelty to speak of. portions are generous - do keep that in mind when ordering rice and noodles to accompany your entrees.

i recommend this place only if you are nostalgic about eting indo-chinesefoodas most of my colleagues love this place; and it's relatively easy on the pocket.
