went in for an early dinner, theplacewas fairly quiet, minus the intermittent regulars getting drinks to go. service was good, just really laid back and casual. know that ahead of time, a meal is a chance to relax, communicate with friends and family; and enjoy great food. order the grouper, basmati (yellow) rice and plantains, while my wife had the ropa vieja (shredded beef), basmati rice and plantains. both entrees came with awesome black beans on the side. grouper was fresh, no fishy rubbery taste and not heavily saturated with oil. beef was delicious and seasoned lightly. plantains are god's gift to mankind! they balance just a hint of sweet to the yellow rice salty. we finished dinner with tres leches and tropical cheese cake. the tres leches was a perfect example, while the cheese cake was not heavy nor overly whipped fluffy. a hint of line with a drizzle of caramel. awesome experience, will go back!!!

this is theplaceto be for cinco de mayo. the food is amazing and the atmosphere just as fun for this holiday.

iwe visited this restaurant on the day if the uefa championship finals, real madrid vs juventus. theplacehad the game playing on large screens and was very lively with supporters from either side.

the décor and setting is similar to any mexican taverna, yellow coloured walls adorned with pottery, chunky wooden furniture, and bar in the corner.

the food is delicious and very flavoursome. as soon as you land, very hot garlic bread is served with your beverages. we had mussels and calamari for appetisers. then some chicken and roasted pulled pork. all the food was delicious. the sides include yuca and plantain chips.

the service is very prompt and friendly. there were two large groups of people to see the game but every table was attended to quickly. the servers also added their own panache by bringing about 6-7 plates balanced on one hand/arm.

overall we had a great time and when in savannah again we will definitely visit this place.

the worst experience i've ever had. got there about 7 o'clock on a weeknightplacewas half full still at the host station for 15 minutes waiting to be seated three waitresses and one waiter were working the floor and with that acknowledge my presence finally i noticed a possible way that didn't speak english and told him that i was looking for table and he went and got a waiter it still took the waiter another 10 minutes to come over and talk to me because he was busy talking on his cell phone on the side of the bar after the waiter spoke to me he said i'll be right back to get your table and then disappear for another 5 minutes at this point i tried to get anybody's attention and the wait staff they're all too busy involved in their own duties to bother helping a new customer i would like to eat there it was the lastplaceon earth worst customer experience i've ever had it will tell all not to visit do not waste your time unless you have about 45 minutes just to be seated at a table on a slow weeknight

the worst experience i've ever had. on a wednesday night at 7 o'clock the restaurant was half full i patiently waited for about 15 minutes to get seated since we were the only two people standing there and plenty of waiters and waitresses were running around we figured it would be no problem

wow wow wow!!!!! thisplaceis amazing! small and local restaurant! the food is to die for! our server was awesome! oliver was his name! my husband wanted to watch the super bowl and i wanted a good dinner! we got both! we ended our meal with the best cafe con leche i've ever had! i can't wait to come back and visit thisplaceagain!

worst food ever!! either all previous reviews are written by the owner or they just really believe this is what cuban food is supposed to taste like! well believe me it definitely does not! i am puerto rican/cuban and i am embarrassed and offended that thisplaceis trying to pass this off as authentic cuban food! they may have hector or celia playing in the background but that's about as ethnic as thisplacegets! the yellow rice had absolutely no flavor and truly tasted like minute rice. the bistec was dry with no flavor what so ever! the pink beans just as bland! where's the sofrito? at this point i didn't even want to waste another dime by ordering a marguerita just to find out it would have tasted like water with lemon! urbanspoon reviews were definitely misleading on this one! don't waste your $$$!!!
