great food, location and price!. very good food. the lechon asado is amazing. full bar with draft beer.

went forclunch during the week, and it was absolutely. wonderful. great food, lots of it.

grilled grouper or red snapper are divine! weekly fave!

which location of rancho alegre-savannah?. i know that rancho alegre cuban restaurant has two locations. is there a difference in price, menu, or quality in either of the locations?

this was americanized cuban food.  we were disappointed!  we hoped to find some authentic food in savannah. if chef boy-ar-dee made cuban food, this would be it.  i continue to be disillusioned by restaurants in savannah.

went in for an early dinner, the place was fairly quiet, minus the intermittent regulars getting drinks to go. service was good, just really laid back and casual. know that ahead of time, a meal is a chance to relax, communicate with friends and family; and enjoy great food. order the grouper, basmati (yellow) rice and plantains, while my wife had the ropa vieja (shredded beef), basmati rice and plantains. both entrees came with awesome black beans on the side. grouper was fresh, no fishy rubbery taste and not heavily saturated with oil. beef was delicious and seasoned lightly. plantains are god's gift to mankind! they balance just a hint of sweet to the yellow rice salty. we finished dinner with tres leches and tropical cheese cake. the tres leches was a perfect example, while the cheese cake was not heavy nor overly whipped fluffy. a hint of line with a drizzle of caramel. awesome experience, will go back!!!

this is the place to be for cinco de mayo. the food is amazing and the atmosphere just as fun for this holiday.

bland. bland. bland. but at least it's hot when it comes out. but definatly not worth the $ for the small portions. i need spice, flavor, seasoning. ok. you cooked some chicken and put it on a leaf. i need more than that. do tell me if i'm missing anything. cuz i'm not impressed.

iwe visited this restaurant on the day if the uefa championship finals, real madrid vs juventus. the place had the game playing on large screens and was very lively with supporters from either side.

the décor and setting is similar to any mexican taverna, yellow coloured walls adorned with pottery, chunky wooden furniture, and bar in the corner.

the food is delicious and very flavoursome. as soon as you land, very hot garlic bread is served with your beverages. we had mussels and calamari for appetisers. then some chicken and roasted pulled pork. all the food was delicious. the sides include yuca and plantain chips.

the service is very prompt and friendly. there were two large groups of people to see the game but every table was attended to quickly. the servers also added their own panache by bringing about 6-7 plates balanced on one hand/arm.

overall we had a great time and when in savannah again we will definitely visit this place.

i went to the south side location years ago. it was an old house that had been converted into a restaurant. this location is so much better and convenient. great food and they have a latin band that plays on weekends. i will be back with the wife next time in savannah.

i visited this restaurant while at savannah for a short trip with friends. we found this restaurant on yelp and thought of trying it out.

the food was nice and the service was quick. i loved the sweet plantains and yellow rice.

went there for the first time last week to get some cuban food. i got there and was told by the host to find somewhere to sit. i sat down at a table and zero wait staff came over to take my order. i ended up leaving. i will never go there again.

i love this place. great cuban seafood and as close to real/legit sangria as you can find in a restaurant. most weekends they have a pretty great 4-5 piece latin jazz group that plays.

really nice atmosphere, and live jazz. very good service, and moderate prices. food is okay, not authentic cuban cuisine ("restaurant wouldn't last a week in miami", to quote my cuban-born mother after our meal), but says something about the vibe and service that has lasted 16 years in savannah.
