best italian in edmonton. my husband and i are regulars here, we keep comingbackbecause we are always happy with the food and service. the food is fresh and delicious - especially the spaghetti carbonara (my favourite!!!) but everything is always great appetizers, pizza, pasta, entrees, desert. very friendly and welcoming ambiance and staff. we will continue to be regulars for many years to come :) thanks ragazzi!

we picked up pizza from here for a large gathering , it was fantastic and reasonably priced .
although the place was packed on a saturday night they still managed to handle our large take out order.

camebackfor a second visit. things have changed and not for the better. service is slow, glasses are dirty on on the table and the second set of glasses arrive dirty as well. waitress seems confused and frustrated throughout our stay ( restaurant was not busy) pizza took over 50 minutes to come out of the kitchen and was disappointing in flavor. disappointing meal and service . we will not be back.
first review : great service, with homemade italian flavor dishes at affordable prices. for 14 years they have made great pasta and pizza in a quiet strip mall location. we had soprano bread, lazanga, and ravioli all outstanding and a bottle of wine. great evening. we will be back.

we found this place by searching for the nearest restaurant to our new home, looking to get to know the neighbourhood. it's in a strip mall that we had driven past before but never really gave a second glance.  once inside we were surprised how comfortable and homey the atmosphere was.  looks like they've renovated some since these pictures were taken.  there service was prompt and the servers were pleasant.  we ordered an appetizer (mozza balls wrapped in prosciutto in tomato sauce), the godfather pizza, and the carbonara.  we found everything delicious and well done.  i am still thinking about the carbonara the next day and wanting to gobackfor more.  it was light, well seasoned, and not soaking in sauce.  a lovely little find.  i know we'll bebackagain soon.

simply wonderful!. we stopped in for a late dinner last night. this place is a little gem! the food was simply amazing. it was hot, delicious and more than we had expected. the service was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. we will bebacknext time we are in edmonton.

weren't even served lunch. we arrived on a wednesday at 12:10pm for lunch, just two of us. ordered water and paninis with salads. at 12:45pm we were told our lunch was going to be up in 2 minutes. at 12:58pm, we finally had to ask for it to be wrapped to go because we had no more time to waste for lunch. they packaged our lunches separately based on the two different paninis that we ordered but still managed to mess up the order. i getbackto my office to eat my long-awaited lunch, and instead of the italian panini i ordered, i chew down on tough-as-leather chicken. i have been to ragazzi for dinner and it was great but i will never bebackfor lunch again. hire more people to work on the floor and in the kitchen. we didn't get a refill on our drinks until 20 minutes after our glasses were empty. unreal.

ordered two pasta dishes and the bruscetta for take out and picked up the order as it was coming out of the kitchen. bruscetta was alright but the tomatoes were under ripe and the entire thing had a bit too much oil. the pasta dishes were just alright. i'm still looking forward to trying the pizza.

i made a reservation for 8pm. we walked in at 7:55 to hear the the waitress say "luck for you guys a table opened up" and then they sat them. we waited until 8:10 to have a couple walk in and a voice from thebacksay "there is a table in thebackconer for you two". at this point my girlfriend and i left and went to chianti(better food anyways) only a few blocks down. i live near ragazzi and really want it to be good, but after bad food/service multiple times i have decided to not ever return here. but that's just my humble opinion.

great food, poor service!. i was at ragazzi bistro this past weekend and found the food to be nothing short of amazing. the two appetizers we ordered were delicious and the godfathers choice, (which was recommended by a friend), exceeded all expectations. my husband and i also shared a pasta dish which was to die for. i was expecting a let down in this area, seeing as they are known for their pizza but to my surprise the pasta was wonderful. actually it was better then i`ve tasted at most other places in edmonton. i would definately reccommend the food at this resturaunt to anyone in search of delicious italian cuisine. the only downside to this resturaunt was the service. i found it terribly slow, it took 15 minutes just to get our drinks. also, the girl who served us was unwelcoming. i felt like we were imposing on her just by being there. hopefully it was a bad night for them because i would love to comebackfor ragazzi's amazing food again!

what a hidden gem!!!
you would never think one would find such delectable cuisine with such a warm inviting atmosphere in such an odd location. the restaurant is located in this tiny strip mall near bonnie doon mall, where no one would ever think of looking for treasure. but i assure you, if you venture there, a treasure is what you will find!

i have sampled pizza all around this city, but have never had anything remotely comparable to ragazzi's creations! the crust is light, crisp and tasty, covered with a savory sauce, then layered with any toppings your heart desires. the tantalizing aroma of the pizza permeates the air as soon as you step into this italian wonderland. i promise you, your mouth will start watering before you are even seated.

they have a great selection of apps to choose from. my personal favorites - their yummy inslata mista (who knew a simple green salad could be so addictive!), their delicious boccocini coperti, and their appetizing calamari. then you get to choose from what seems like thousands of their signature pizzas or create your very own masterpiece. i suggest the godfather's pizza. what a piece of art that is!!! and then of course, who in their right mind would turn down an order of their mother's homemade tiramisu. i swear this recipe was sent to her from the heavens above!!! i would be completely content eating this heavenly dessert everyday, every meal for the rest of my life!

the young men that own and run this place are sweethearts. they make everyone who enters their establishment feel like part of their family, and that is why i plan on goingbackagain and again and again. this was my first, but definitely not my last excursion to ragazzi bistro. next time i will try a new app and sample one of their pastas.

...high level of skill present in ragazzi's kitchen. crispy-tender crust, zesty tomato sauce, bracing spices and an abundant blanket of stretch cheese. this bonnie doon spot, name change nonewithstanding, satiates and impresses. the boys arebackin town. and they never left in the first place.

best italian food!!. i went to ragazzi with my family. it was my moms birthday. we enjoyed the food so much....it was like eating in italy. you can tell everything is made from scratch and the ingredients are fresh. the calabrese is my favorite pizza! the pastas are all delicious as well. i've gonebackfor take out about 10x already and my family keeps goinbackto the same restaurant. it gets busy in the restaurant and because everything is made fresh you do have to wait a bit...but its worth it!!! its not a drive thru and things dont come out of packages.....so therefore it takes longer! amazing food, amazing servers and a great management team :)

best thin crust in edmonton. i stopped in a few weeksbackwith some friends for a get-together. the place was about half full and being cared for by one server. that said she did a fantastic job. she was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and good-spirited. to top it off, the food came out pretty quick and piping hot.

we started with the soprano bread, which i highly recommend, and there was plenty to share between 5 of us. as good as it was the best was yet to come; one of the finest thin crust pizzas i've had the pleasure of eating. the crispy and slightly chewy crust provided the perfect landscape for the sharp yet flavorful sauce and array of quality ingredients. we tried the godfather, the deluxe, and davide's inferno (not for the light of heart!). all were delicious, though the inferno spoiled my palate for the more delicate flavours of the other pizzas as i returned to them. i also got to sample the veal cannelloni which was alright. the veal flavour definitely stood out from the tomato sauce, which was nice. it wasn't as amazing as the pizzas but it was good.

overall, it was an excellent experience. top marks for service and food. i look forward to returning and i hope everything remains consistent. i would easily recommend this place.

crustylicious. i used to order take out from pizza boys when i lived in the neighbourhood, and was never disappointed. they've moved their game a little up market these days, but the pizza is still really good. in the mood for something spicy, we ordered a large davide's inferno pizza which consists of marinated tomatoes, italian sausage, casalingo salami and mixed cheeses. it is spicy, but not overpowering - you can still taste the ingredients and don't get instant heartburn. the real kicker though, is the crust. i wish i could go in there and just order crust, it is to die for. just the right combination of hard and chewy, not doughy and soggy.
service was prompt and professional, prices are very reasonable. i won't wait so long to gobacknext time!
