rude staff ..... the staff called us "stupid" for ordering two drinks in absence of any food. although this comment was made in vietnamese, unfortunately for them i could understand vietnamese.

albeit odd that we didn't order any food, it was 3 o'clock on a hot afternoon and i have done it happily before at trangs down the road.

i will not be back again. ever.

just so delicious - i really want everyone else to stop going, because it's hard to get a table, but at the same time qt deserve nothing but success, the food and staff and value are all second to none. so, ok, we will share our favourite restaurant!

we live around the corner and visit quan thahn at least weekly, sometimes more. the only problem is that it is now so busy we always have to book! tables outside are best as its pretty noisy indoors. the food is awesome - bbq pork wonton noodle soup, beef pho, satay chicken sticks - all fantastic. prices are super cheap and staff are lovely, even when rushed off their feet. my favourite cheap and cheery restaurant in brisbane!

this is our where to eat and drink guide to brisbane; incomplete and personally biased for the sort of food we like and what we consider to be ‘value for money’. we have decided to divide our restaurant preferences into occasions rather than areas. we find that generally, where you go depends as much on the reason as the suburb. you have favourite places for family dinner, for sunday afternoon drinks and wednesday morning breakfasts and you are happy to travel to get to them. if you want a complete guide for where to eat in brisbane by price or suburb, visit urbanspoon . you can read our urbanspoon reviews as well. we hope you enjoy our recommendations as much as we do. good anytime foxy bean, wooloongabba – can’t say a bad thing about this place seeing as it was birgit’s wedding venue, but it is good for any meal of the day. kettle and tin, paddington – popular from brunch through to tuesday trivia and birthday parties, it’s hard to go wrong at kettle and tin. hoo ha bar, south brisba

the only place to go!!. my family has been coming to this place for many years and will be for many years to come!! great value, quick service and terrific food, especially the green veggies! i just wish we lived closer than the 40 minute drive to get there! : )

good west end vietnamese. we have been eating here for many years and it's always reliable. love the pho and pork vermicelli. service can be variable and a little haphazard at times but the food is consistently tasty and good value.
