i don't know if peru but if it does i need to go there. thechickenis season perfectly and the fries are done just as good. the menu is one page but that is all it takes i am in love

never expected a restaurant like this in abq. theirchickenchimichangas andchickenbreast are delicious. very inexpensive and good flavor. their credit card machine was out when we got there, so only took cash, which was a bummer. quick, prompt service. would recommend!

great restaurant!family ran and owned. i get the #4 cause it has everything i love with a stuffed potato on the side. if i catch on a day when they are running there special.....lomo- i'll get that. notchickenlike the rest of the menu. beef on rice with sauce! the green dipping sauce is the best!!

chicken heaven. so yeah, my husband brought home somechickenfrom pollito and said it was the bestchickenhe had ever had in his life. i am thinking ...yeah, cool...it's still just chicken, dude. fast forward to me gnawing every piece ofchickenoff the bone - caveman style. yum!

bring cash for great chicken. i love this place (hence the venue review!) but wanted to give a heads up that you should do a few things to ensure a deliciouschickenexperience: call ahead if you'll be there during lunch or dinner hours in case they are running low, and bring cash.

the oh-so-friendly owners do not take credit, and in a pinch you can go across the street to the grocery store which has an atm inside. for what it's worth, the guy actually asked me if i lived nearby and would be coming back again and was going to let me do an iou for the food. i of course turned him down but man, what trust and enthusiasm!!!

amazing food!!!. you must try this place if you are a food eater! tasted it at a small function at my school, then went myself to try for real with my husband. everything we had made our taste buds sing! thechickenis marinated and grilled to perfection, the potatoes are crispy and delightful, and the aji sauce is incredible!!! the owner suggested i try the stuffed potatoes as well, and he was right - they are so good - like a peruvian version ofchickenpot pie. even the pickled onions that go with them are the perfect accompaniment. no matter where you live in abq - make the trip here. you will be very happy you did! plan to be back often!

amazing chicken!. the name says it all -chickenand fries is all this place does and they do it better than anyone else in the city. simplicity is the name of the game here and it works so well. the rotisserie or grilled peruvianchickenis amazing. i prefer the grilled by a slight margin. if you want the grilledchicken(totally worth the wait), or you have a large order, call an hour ahead (call in orders start @ 10:30 am). everyone i know who has tried thischickenabsolutely loves it. not open on wednesdays, so keep that in mind. the parking situation is not too great, so you may want to park a block up if you have a large vehicle. we like to buy achickenfor lunch and an extra to take home. highly recommend!

wonderful chicken. the grilledchickenthighs are so flavorful and the green dipping sauce goes great with them. the owners are delightful. the place is very spartan ..... but adds to the character. served with fried potatoes which were very tasty and nicely seasoned. never been to peru, so can't vouch for authenticity, but it seems like the real deal.

their food was delicious and their service was amazing. theirchickenwas the bestchickeni've had since i moved to albuquerque from peru. i loved the classical music that was playing. honestly one of my favorite restaurants in town. i highly recommend this for great food at a good price.

this place has the bestchickeni've ever had! it's very fresh and even the breasts are juicy. it's cooked to perfection on the grill so it's not greasy at all and the skin is crisp. the aji sauce was amazing, i had heard that it was good from a peruvian friend but it was better than i imagined. the owners were also friendly, i really liked this place!

great peruvian chicken. this restaurant makes great peruvian chicken. this meal brought back great childhood memories of my mother's pollo a la brasa. pollito con papas makes the bestchickeni have had in albuquerque. great place to get take out from. will plan to visit often, and take my mom there when she comes and visits from dallas.

peruvian treat. i have had the pleasure of enjoying at least 5 times the outstanding grilled peruvian chicken, fries and exquisite creamy jalapeno dipping sauce from this restaurant. they offer both grilled and rotisserie chicken, and on occassion mesquitte smoked chicken. the 18 hour marinatedchickenprovides a unique flavor that produces juicy, succulent pieces of chicken.

i highly recommend that you treat your self and friends to a rewarding dinning experience from pollito con papas.

outstanding food and service. the stuffed potatoes are delicious--they have one withchickenand a vegetarian version. the place is always busy at lunch but they still manage to get the orders out quickly. thechickenhas a delicious smoky flavor that is quite unique. once you have tried this place you will want to come back for more.
